I came here with my husband to get a pedicure together. On a busy Saturday, there were only 3 people working in the salon. My husband was taken back right away, the other 2 had customers, and so my wait began, defeating the purpose of having the pedicure done together. The pedicure chairs had cushions over them that were completely worn through and disgusting. I can't imagine what the actual chair looked like. The girl doing my husband's pedicure was slowwwwww. Slow. It was like she had to think about each step prior to doing it. When he was finally finished, and she was ready to take me, I declined, I was done. My nails are pretty but... they're also pretty sore. I came in hoping to get my nails done with SNS but I was told the style I wanted was not possible due to the limited colors they had. The nail tech suggested acrylic, which I was hesitant to go for but obliged. Firstly, she didn't bother to clean my nails before doing anything; she just straight up started filing with what seemed to be an already used nail file. Sanitary tools are very important to me. She most definitely overused that stupid electronic buffer because, again, my nails are sore and she cut me from trying to shave down my cuticles that way. I winced and pulled away a few times because it burned - I was bleeding - and she tried to lay the blame on getting cut because I moved. Ummm, no, I moved because you already cut me. It also hurts underneath my nail, not just on top. This is my first experience with acrylic but I don't think it should be this painful. Needless to say, I will be getting them removed elsewhere. I came in to get a mani/pedi with a clear coat dip powder and the female owner with the glasses was the one who did my nails.. While drying them I realized the man did not fully remove the blue undertone from my nails and simply painted over. I already paid $30 (25 pedicure, $5 tip) when I asked to simply repaint that nail he opposed & left it as is. He even put his hand on my sister's face to move it out the way since we were all staring at the toe lol. I will usually go here because it's right around the corner from me when I need something quick or I don't have time to drive and get my nails done; my last visit was awful! This is my go to place when I need my eyebrows done. They listen when I want something specific, if it's just a clean or if I don't want them to tweeze. What went wrong: -the woman didn't cut until after filing them down -left majority (7-10) nails uneven and after asking to fix she argued they were perfect. -the polish is ridged and very uneven on the nails, to the point where they started chipping 2 hours later. I have been coming to this nail salon for a few years and recommended them to friends and family. Took me awhile to write this because I really liked them. The last few times they were rude and Nancy was so aggressive. She cut me 3 times and not once apologized. As for the pedicure, go elsewhere. They don't even use a pumice. If you want them to scrub your heals, that's $10 extra you have to get a callous remover, which I did, and it still looked like crap. UPDATED REVIEW: I do enjoy this salon. They do nice work. Though I have two problems with them. First problem: Is the first week I have had my nails done here, I get acrylics, my nails lift from the acrylics. I don't think they use high quality products. My nails only start lifting when the stuff is old, meaning you need a new set. It's not supposed to lift the first week. I've toughed this out for three months. Will be returning to my old nail salon that's further away from my house in two weeks to get a new full set done there. Second problem: Last month they had a roach issue. I've seen at least 5 roaches on the floor of that place crawling around. GROSS! I don't know if they have the problem or if it's Handy Pantry or Vito's Pizza that has the roach problem and they're spreading through each business. I don't know. But it's disgusting! I don't want those things crawling into my bag and coming home with me. That is enough for me to stop going there all together. I didn't see roaches on my last visit, and that will be my last visit. The staff is friendly, they do an OK job, and Monday through Wednesday they are not busy. If one other person comes into the salon while you're getting your nails done those days that's a lot. I also don't like that someone else pops in EVERY DAMN TIME I'm there trying to sell me hand-bags or movies. Like no thanks. I don't want that stuff. read more

I am so ecstatic that this new nail salon opened. They are meticulously clean and consistently provide excellent nail service. I've had my nails done here a total of three different times since they opened this summer and they have always done a great job. The staff are friendly and try to accommodate the customer flow appropriately. If they happen to be busy for a walk in, they will be honest and let you know the wait time instead of having you waste your time. Make an appointment, run your errands, and please make sure you return during the agreed time. Do not go anywhere else. Avoid this place! I only went once, as my reg salon is closed on Tuesdays. I had a man do an acrylic fill-in. He was SO rude and SOOOO rough!! He couldn't understand anything I asked him for so another woman was translating. Fine. But he was getting so angry every time I asked him a question. Learn English if you plan on living here! Don't take it out on me! He used a brand new file that literally took my skin off. When I'd flinch, he'd grab my hand back so roughly. Additionally, I have my thumb bandaged and asked him several times to use caution around it. He'd just grab it so hard anyway, even after I asked the other woman to translate for him. To top it all off, my nails look terrible! I honestly didn't want to leave him a dime for a tip but I still left him $4.00 for a $25 service. He picked up the singles to count it and just threw it back on his table, as though he deserved so much more. Just so rude! No "thank you", "have a good day", etc. You've been warned! Oh, PS...when I walked in, I was the only customer. The "translator" was sound asleep, sprawled across the couch in the front. I actually had to wake her up to get some service. I used to love going to the salon because the main lady was great and the main guy does a great job painting and shaping nails in a fast time until recently, I went in and wanted a specific nail design, nothing hard at all, I could've done the design myself but I wanted the gel nail color. The lady attempted on one nail to test it out but it came out sloppy, and asked to just paint all my nails one solid color... No. I wanted a simple design and she couldn't do it and she kept insisting I just paint them all solid so I said nvm and left. I go in weeks later for the 2nd basic spa pedicure w/10 minute foot massage and the guy literally just had hot water in the tub, added no type of softening powder. I know it was the basic pedicure but dang... He also didn't give my feet a chance to soak in that hot water and started working on them. Usually pedicures are supposed to be a little relaxing and I clearly wasn't relaxed, just felt rushed.... My daughter (7years) was with me also and she was getting the kids basic pedicure. First the water was way too hot for her, they didn't bother to ask if the temperature was ok and they made it seem like it was a problem when she said the water was too hot... So they added cold water, didn't bother to drain some of the hot water out either which was dumb because by the time the tub was at the rim it was still too hot... Smh.. And then they added some blue powder stuff in her tub which softens the feet..... Why didn't I get any of that stuff?! I was so mad by then because even the most ran down nail salon wouldn't just have hot water ONLY when getting a pedicure... I wanted to walk out... I'll never go here again or recommend it to anyone. read more
