No beer on tap but heavy bud choices. You can get Stella at least and limited cocktails. Prices and atmosphere for this type of place good. Service friendly if brusque. Older people during the day and I assume much younger crowd later. This place has been here for over 20 years so must be good in its market. The good or bad is that it is hidden around the back of the building on the Main Street so unless you see crowds waiting to get in or know where to look you will not spot it.

First seated, we were only given 2 food menus (with 5 drink menus) despite being a party of 5. This made it a bit challenging to decide on food, but the menu was simplified enough we managed to be ready for when the server arrived. We started with some apps: BBQ pork fries and mild wings (boneless and bone in). All were phenomenal! The mild sauce was a pleasant heat unlike many places that focus more on the spice. The boneless were not your typical meat chunks and a knife came in handy but it was good. I appreciated the unique way they incorporated celery onto the wings. The fried were also fantastic with a nice savory taste and even cheese and toppings. Definitely recommend all of the above! For food we went with burgers and fish and chips. The burgers were great, which was good considering these are definitely high end priced at over $20 for a basic burger. The fish and chips were OK. Nicely cooked and flakey but a rather bland flavor overall. I'd recommend going with the burgers or just sticking with an app, the fish you can definitely get better elsewhere. I also had high expectations of the rosemary potatoes but they were very light on flavoring as well. It was a good experience, and if it's in your budget you'll likely have an enjoyable experience! Though the bathrooms were worth commenting on as they were quite... Unique. If someone was sitting, they were sitting for everyone to see. Not sure what's going on here- I'm guessing maybe a late ADA addition with limited space?

But this spot, that's right on A1A, you walk up to the bar through sand, while outside looking at the distant waves. We were doing a random walk after brunch in Delray last weekend and with little more than a look at each other we decided to have a beverage at Sandbar. The service was quick and solid. We had a couple of solid drinks, each. After that though we continued our walk, pleasantly perked up. There are better beach bars for sure,, but not in the Delray beach area. If you wanna smell the salt air and drink a rum drink with tunes, this is the spot.

Love the hardcore beer placards fastended to the walls but the beer coolers were surely the focal point of the room. Nice covered patio overlooking the sidewalk with more beer decor. The gender neutral bathroom was clean with a continued beer placard decor and an unexpected modern look.

He was warned the spicy chicken is exceptionally spicy but he didn't think that warning was warranted so maybe don't be afraid to try it if you're not big on spice. We had tap water that they left a large bottle on the table for. Even though we didn't drink too much of it, they still replaced it with a fresh bottle after a while since it probably got warm. One staff member even came to wipe up the water that had sweat off our drinks. Overall, El Camino exceeded our expectations. All of the staff was kind and courteous and the food was off the chart. And those happy hour prices are hard to beat! We definitely will be back!
