There is limited street parking, but well worth any walk you may need to make to arrive. When you walk in, you are transported into a welcoming, quiet and beautiful haven away from the bustle of the street. They have decorated with a unique combination of antiques, whimsical and folk art, both elegant and rustic. There are potted plants, a fountain in the patio, many display cases with jewelry for sale. You can enjoy specialty coffees, refreshing drinks, exquisite desserts or a hearty meal in one of the multiple sitting areas, dining rooms, cozy nooks, the patio, or upstairs. I only had a cappuccino, but I was there with a group, and I saw some of the desserts and entrees they ordered and apparently really enjoyed. My cappuccino was delicious. Prices are competitive and the portions are generous. The table service was friendly, and though with a group the size of ours, there was opportunity for confusion, but the server got it all accurately. We had a very pleasant time, and I would certainly return if given the chance, even if just to explore and admire all the unusual decor.

The muffins and other baked goods they offer were plastic wrapped to keep them fresh. That said, it wasn't the best place to go. I asked for an extra toasty bagel, and it came lightly toasted. It also only had a thin layer of cream cheese. The Traditional bagel (salmon, capers, etc) was decent. Very simple. The breakfast egg, bacon and cheese bagel was average. Everything would have been better had the bagels been chewier and fresh.

I ordered a breakfast sandwich that had bacon, cheese, and an egg. I chose to have it served on their jalapeño cheese bagel. The sandwich was nothing special, I don't know that I would get that again. The egg was bland and there wasn't any sauces or spreads on it. I also ordered some bagels to go, the onion, plain, and jalapeño cheddar. The onion one was really good with the jalapeño cheddar cream cheese. The plain one was great with the delicious churro cream cheese. The ambiance was nice, very clean and they had an open kitchen prep area for the bagels. The bagels were very good, chewy, yet crispy on the outside and fresh!
