Spicy Scallop Roll; Spider Roll, Yellowtail Scallion Roll

Have dined in person two more times and got takeout and still very much a fan! The service is always very friendly and attentive. Their special rolls are delicious. The presentation is always nice. This my new go to in town for sushi. In addition to the special rolls, the spicy edamame is worth a try. Gyoza and shumai good. Veggie fried rice also very good.

    Nice decoration on our plate.

The food was delicious! Service was great, fast, and sushi had pretty cool decor around the plate. The ambiance was decorated really nice for the holidays.

Thai Tea delish, kind of has a roasted or malted flavor which is great

Really good sushi! We didn't try the hibachi but there are more sushi options anyway. The sushi tasted fresh and came out pretty quickly. We ordered some sort of tempura roll with mango on it and an eel and tempura shrimp roll. Both were warm which was so enjoyable. We also got a melon soda and a Thai iced tea which were great. Sushi was reasonably priced but some other items on the menu looked a little more expensive. The dessert menu was also pretty expansive although we didn't get to try it since we were full. I'm taking one star away because our server had her fingers in the little soy sauce bowls when she placed them on the table. The bowls were empty but it made me not want to use them.

The sushi here is good and service is fast which is nice but for the price you get very small pieces. They have a lunch special that seems more worth the money if you get 3 rolls for $17. Regardless, the sushi was fresh and tasty so I would recommend trying out SAKA.

Big fan of this place, the sushi consistently impresses with high-quality fish. Although the rolls are a bit small for the price, the incredible flavors make it worthwhile.

Love Saka so much! Teresa who owns Saka once said that her focus was always good food and a place for people to come together. She achieved it 100%. The sushi is arguably the same or better as some of their more expensive competitors but the atmosphere is so much warmer and friendlier. Saka is one of my favourite places for a casual weeknight sushi fix (great combo offers) or a dinner out with friends. Make sure to get a reservation for weekend nights because the business is booming! If you're serious about supporting women-owned businesses, Saka is your spot.

Very good! We dined in last week and loved it. The service was excellent and so was the food! We loved Teresa, she was so kind and friendly. We ordered pork gyoza to start ($6.50) - little small but good! We then ordered avocado salad ($7) very good!! Red dragon roll ($17) and Maki combo choice D ($23)- we got to select 3 rolls of choice and it came with miso soup. Love this option- we ordered eel cucumber, salmon mango, and shrimp avocado. We also ordered chicken fried rice ($17)- very good! Would absolutely recommend!

The food was amazing, and the service was great. I will definitely come back to eat here again.

    Cartilage in tuna

Underwhelming and overpriced. I got the chirashi, which was $30 - pricey but I'm willing to pay for a good chirashi assortment. This certainly was not - 3 salmon, 3 tuna (poorly sliced, with cartilage), 3 fluke, 3 white tuna (gross), 1 kani cut in half, 1 small shrimp, 2 tamago, 2 radishes and an excess of shiso leaves which tasted off. For this price you should typically see something premium (ikura, uni, or maybe an oyster). Or at least some yellowtail. Sheesh. Very disappointing. Will not return.

We've been coming here for a few years, and unfortunately the experience has declined noticeably…read moreover time -- which is disappointing because the restaurant has a lot of potential and a great market. We've visited almost every Thursday during the winter, and the dining room has repeatedly been uncomfortably cold. Most guests, including us, kept our jackets on throughout the meal. When we asked about it, we received conflicting explanations: the manager said the heat had just been turned on because dinner service was starting, while our server told us the heater was broken. Given that we experienced the same issue earlier in the winter -- when space heaters were set up -- it seems like a known problem that hasn't been properly addressed. The bathrooms were even colder, which made things especially uncomfortable. On top of that, the bathroom fixtures had rough, visible trim/paste around the edges, which looked unfinished and unappealing. The food quality has also slipped. The Korean fried chicken bites used to be a favorite, but this time they tasted like plain store-bought chicken breast with only a light drizzle of gochujang -- barely enough to notice any flavor. When our drinks arrived, the server joked that they would "warm us up," which felt a bit tone-deaf given how cold the space was. As a long-time customer, it's disappointing to say this will likely be our last visit.

I'm not the biggest fan of cream cheese in my roll so my least favorite was the Philadelphia roll. I ordered a peach iced tea. The service was great and attentive. When we walked in without a reservation we were able to be seated right away as it wasn't busy. As we started to eat our rolls, the restaurant did get busier with time. Dates and families coming in for their dinner. I have to be honest and say the shrimp shumai wasn't all that special but overall the presentation of the sushi and taste was pretty good. The shumai tasted okay to me, I have had better elsewhere and they looked different. They were tiny. All in all, I would come back and recommend this restaurant to sushi lovers. 10/10 restaurant recommendation.

They both tasted good but honestly fell a bit flat with the taste. The coconut shrimp roll unfortunately did not have any hints of coconut. The opportunity roll was good and came in a unique wrap instead of seaweed. The interesting thing about this place is their strong, yet cheap drinks.

One thing I loved about the cocktail menu were the detailed descriptions and photos. It made it really easy to decide, and I wasn't disappointed by my choice. I had the Don't be Shy, which was vodka-based and had soju. It was very refreshing and was mixed perfectly. Since the restaurant iis known for sushi and pasta (and steak), I decided to try one of their Lincoln Harbor rolls which had crab, bluefin tuna, avocado, and wasabi yuzu. It had a kick to it and the fish was very fresh. I also had a side of the lobster mac and cheese, which was creamy and filled with lobster. My mate had the bolognese pasta dish and it was finished very quickly, which is always a good sign. All in all, I had a fantastic meal with excellent service and look forward to returning soon.

I had to use my chase sapphire dining credits and this restaurant was part of it, and I happened to be nearby. Everyone was dressed nicely, meanwhile I come in with my orange spyder jacket (it was raining) Anyway, food was pretty good. Octopus- it was pretty good as I love octopus legs but thought the texture needed a bit more bounce to it. I still enjoyed it. Steak delmonico- decently good as well. I ordered it medium rare and thats the way it came. I didnt order any sauce on the side for it but maybe u should. I figured the whipped potatoes and truffle creamed spinach would be good sides that can double as sauces. But their truffle butter sauce sounds pretty good. Chicken parm- it was surprisingly good. The cheese complimented the chicken so well. I think I liked this more than my steak. Whipped potatoes- delicious Truffle creamed spinach- pretty good as well Overall, i had a nice evening here. Ambiance is slightly dark and romantic. Waiters were nice.
