You walk in to some of the most friendly staff you'll find anywhere. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with nice clean lines, very clean kitchen and overall great ambiance. We no sooner sat down than Chef has sent over an appetizer (on the house). An extremely tasty crab, on a homemade cracker. We took our time, asking questions of our server (Li) who was extremely knowledgable about the menu, very helpful in answering our questions and extremely attentive to what we were ordering. We initially ordered soft-drinks, but realized they had Plum wine. It was some of the most delicious I've ever had. Li then in turn recommended another time of plum wine that could be found in the local liquor stores for some $8 a bottle with an actual plum in the bottom of the bottle. We placed our order and within only a very short time they brought out our edamame, and the nigiri that I had ordered. When ordering, I had asked about the possibility of having some "super-white Tuna" but initially were told there were out. About 10 minutes after our food had been ordered we received another dish complimentary of the chef consisting of the last of the white tuna that he had in the house. He prepared it for us. It was delicious!!! There was not a single thing that we would have changed during our visit today which the exception of perhaps one - and that was they brought all of the food out at once vs. pacing it a little for us. One of the best sushi places I been to and I'm not even the biggest sushi fan so I highly recommend coming here!!

Today was my first time visiting Sake 2 Me- and I will 100% be coming back again. This might be my new favorite go-to place for whenever I need a sushi fix (which is often .) As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly and seated promptly. The restaurant is clean and modern, with very nice dark wood tables. The waiter was very attentive and explained the menu perfectly. I was a bit confused at how the AYCE sushi is suppose to play out but he made sure to show me how it worked. I ordered a miso soup and it was nice and hot. Perfect and seasoned to perfection. And I also got the sushi platter, which included a California roll, spicy tuna, and crunch roll (3 of my favorites!) They also brought me several free appetizers! The presentation is 10/10. And, they were all very filling and MUCH worth the money. They didn't skimp out on anything- these rolls are giant! Honestly, some of the best sushi I've had! I had the Combo Plate, wife had the Roll Combo. Mine was a pick three entrees. Had teriyaki beef, fried rice, a Cali roll and pot stickers. Beef was juicy and tender, perfectly dressed in sauce. Pot stickers were the fried type, awesome as well. The Roll Combo is prolly the best value on the menu. Your choice of three rolls for $20!! Of course there the app you can eat for $32, but I cant eat that much!! Definitely a hot spot, there were a lot of folks waiting in the cold for a table!! There was quite a bit of a line when we arrived, but they seated my friend and I pretty quickly and kept folks moving to clear tables. Our service was quick but attentive, and we really enjoyed our meal. We had edamame, I had a Dynamite roll and a shrimp hand roll, and my friend had a fresh salmon roll. I loved the hand roll, and it was absolutely stuffed with spicy tuna. The Dynamite roll was huge, covered in toppings and delicious. I took home leftovers to eat the next day. A bit disappointed because we specifically asked to see the menu and even asked the server about vegetarian options before being seated. We discovered from their AYCE sheet with will the rules in there that we should be able to substitute items such as removing the fish or crap on sushi rolls so we took a seat. However, we ended up leaving after trying to place our order but then being told (by the same waiter that handed us the menu and answering our questions about their limited vegetarian options) that they were too busy to substitute any items on the menu. We ordered a variety of the appetizers, hand rolls, sushi rolls, nigiri, and specialty rolls and kept eating until our bellies were stuffed with rice and seafood after a good 4 rounds of ordering. We enjoyed looking through their extensive menu and picking out different types of salmon, tuna, yellowtail, unagi, and albacore. The wasabi wasn't exactly spicy, so we kept asking for extra amounts, but the ginger was very good functioning as a palate cleanser before the next bite of sushi. Got to-go sushi and gyoza for my uncle and I late one night last week. It was very good, they even gave him a bonus roll on the house the "Golden" and it turned out to be his favorite! I was pretty skeptical about this place but it turns out it is really good. Still not may favorite place in Tulsa but because they have some unique options, I'd go back. They offered great service. They also gave us free samples of the sushi nachos and and fried Golden California. Both were delicious. The sushi nachos taste similar to the hot mess from Yokozuna, which anyone from Tulsa has probably had that before. I thought the pieces were a bit high but their rolls are twice the size of most. So I actually only ordered the gyoza and the Hot Night roll. That was plenty of food for me. One roll is basically the size of 2! Just took some friends to Sake 2 Me and again the meal was delicious. No change from previous visits which is great! We all did the AYCE menu and had 2 rounds of several nigiris and rolls. The fish was fresh and delicious as always. They are not cutting out on the fish portion either still the same. A lot of times AYCE restaurants start to fill rolls and nigiri with lots of rice instead of fish but not here at Sake 2 Me! This is still the best sushi joint in town in my opinion! read more

The first rule of All You Can Eat Sushi(AYCES): Talk about all you can eat sushi The second rule of AYCES: If this your first time, you must get AYCES (unless of course, you don't want to) The third rule of AYCES: Anything on the AYCES menu is up for grabs, including appetizers The fourth rule of AYCES: NO SHARING The fifth rule of AYCES: Only order what you can eat, otherwise pay the ultimate price (I think this is an extra surcharge, but I'm not sure, since I followed the rules. Yes I was worried what I was getting in terms of quality and I was also worried about the overall environment of the place. It's a small unassuming establishment, but inside it's very modern and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu and rules. Also helped get the kids seated in their high chairs. Within a minute of being seated we were presented an appetizer of crab salad on a wonton chip. 2 spice for the adults and one nonspicey for the 3yo sushi fantatic. I went for the all you can eat, which was $28.99, which I thought was more than fair, considering the variety you can order and no joke, the quality of what is provided. My wife ordered the combo at $19.99, where you can select 3 times (meat, tempura, gyoza, sushi, rolls, etc), and it also comes with soup, salad and rice. It was a lot of food. The curious thing is, that you can't "double up", meaning no two sushi rolls, but it really doesn't make sense since you can get a roll and then sashimi. When we were eating, they also brought over a complimentary 4 piece crunch roll. I went 3 rounds, in slowly decreasing quantities. Round 1: Miso soup which was very good. Also had the following nigiri: tuna, salmon, octopus and masago. While the pieces were a bit smaller than what I would consider a normal piece, they were nothing to scoff at. And again, the quality was impressive. I could have probably just gone that route, but wanted to try some of their speciality rolls. Round 2: Tiger shrimp handroll which was to me the star of the evening. Peppery garlic shrimp, asparagus, avocado and a hearty helping of spicey tuna, wrapped in soy. I also had the rock and roll (California topped with salmon, lemon and lemon sauce and capers) and the Hawaiin (California topped with tuna and avocado). When you go all you can eat the speciality rolls come out in 4 pieces, which by the way is plenty. I felt the wall coming, but pressed on to round 3: Not wanting to over due it I just went with the traditional plain tuna roll, thinking it would be 4 pieces of one of those small rolls, but I was wrong, got 5 pieces that had a generous helping of tuna and rice. After that, my wife told me I was done. Not wanting to embrassas anyone I agreed. Sure it appears to be a bit on the pricey side, but all hitngs considered, you'd probably spend about the same at any other sushi place. I again can't stress that the quality is the same as the higher end sushi places in town. The AYCES allows you sample more of their menu. Will be back for more. read more
