That's what my lobster was serve on and had pieces of the tail mixed in with the lobster.
Jeremy F.

We ordered the hibachi food and it came out cold! I ordered lobster with extra shrimp and the lobster came out on top of broken shells and there were shell pieces throughout my cold lobster. My daughter had to have them microwave her food to warm it up. This is not fresh hibachi nor do they have a grill. I will definitely not come back here again. The lobster didn't taste fresh and the food did not look like it was freshly cooked like you would expect from habachi. Also my shrimp tails were cold?? I sent my food back.

Delicious Jalapeño Bomb loaded with spicy tuna and all kinds of other goodness. Oh, and Gyoza.
Jayme S.

For me this is good sushi for a small town, and something different I can find locally. My latest visit for dinner was great where we tried their spicy and hearty Tuna Bomb special and Gyoza as appetizers, then shared a Steak Teriyaki Bento Box and a Rainbow Roll. There's variety on the menu to choose from other than sushi, sashimi, or nigiri, including options like noodles, fried rice, katsu, hibachi, and bento boxes. The Steak Teriyaki is really good and made with tender meat and then many of the fried rices are excellent and made by order. A family favorite is the tasty Hawaiian Fried Rice that's made with chicken and pineapple. Favorite rolls are the Passion Salmon Roll, Godzilla Roll, and Boston Roll. Save room for dessert because the Facing Fruit Roll is fresh, bright, sweet, and hit the spot delish. The plating and presentations are also creative, clever, and pretty. They have lunch specials that offer salad or soup with an entree for a very reasonable lunch price. To-go orders are packaged with care and offer the same fresh quality as dining in. It's also a good place to enjoy a nice dinner for special occasions since there's different options for seating arrangements (booths, small or large tables), comfortable lower lighting, and it's almost always quiet. The service is always by staff that's super friendly, accurate, and quick.

Sushi & Hibachi! Haven't had anything from here I didn't like. Very nice and they have a very large menu. Togo portions seem a little small.

Filet hibachi

I was craving something warm and close to my heart...I gravitated toward hibachi because that is always a treat. There aren't many Asian restaurants in McAlester so I was happy to find Sake. The sign isn't well lit so it was initially hard to find (it almost looked closed!) But once you go inside, it's bustling with people. I called ahead for a pickup 20 min early, which was enough time for them to make the hibachi. I ordered the steak filet cooked medium- it was incredibly flavorful, juicy and tender. The veggies were cooked well and complemented the meat! I wasn't a big fan of the fried rice because it was missing egg, but I ate it anyway. The soup isn't miso soup, kind of plain but still tasty and warms you up. The salad is extremely simple, just lettuce...but the ginger dressing is yummy. All in all, although the side dishes were alright, it was the main dish that's most important and I was thoroughly pleased. I will be back to try the sushi rolls!

New sushi and hibachi in Mcalester, OK!
Robert P.

This is a new restaurant in Mcalester offering hibachi and sushi. I have traveled far and wide and can say hands down this is the best sushi I have ever had! The chefs are from New York and are on the top ten list back there in Brooklyn! I posted up all the first picks and will add many many more... Wears working our way through the entire menu and a few things not listed. Amazing presentations!

I was in McAlester for work and there are not many dining options. I thought, Japanese food in McAlester...nope. But the reviews were some of the highest around of all food types. Bottomed line eat here, delicious food, great service, not expensive. See pic for meal!

I've been meaning to try this spot for a while, but I don't visit Eufaula often (it's my hometown)…read more So today we stopped for a late lunch/early dinner, and the place was empty. It looks like they offer a buffet sometimes because there's one right as you walk in. I noticed a little advertisement on our table for a sushi roll option 3 rolls for $13.99, which seems too good to be true. Well, it was. I asked about it and the server went to the kitchen to ask, and they just said they couldn't make those specific rolls. So then I was confused because were they out of ingredients or they just didn't want me to order from the advertised menu? So he then clarified that I could just order from the menu. Ok fine, but don't have that on the table as advertisement. I got the Ironhead roll, which ended up being delicious and worth the $12.99 for 10 pieces. My husband ordered a bento box, which was unique from any I've had in other sushi restaurants. It had a great sushi roll they call avocado, but it had crab and good stuff too. Then it had lo mein with chicken & steak, an egg roll, a wonton, and some little chicken skewers. It was a great deal for $13.99. It was supposed to have soup & salad, but we had to ask because the server forgot. Also they offered ranch... The interior decor is definitely still the exact same as it was when it was a Mexican restaurant too. If you want the most hillbilly Mexican version of a sushi restaurant, this is your spot! I very much enjoyed my sushi roll. And I'd still eat here again. It was just a bit of an odd experience.

This is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT IN STILLWATER!…read more I always order the small ribeye with the sweet broth. I smother it in the sweet sauce given to you once your meat is served and wrap it in cabbage, and it's just to die for. I always leave having eaten too much food, but incredibly satisfied. This place is definitely an acquired taste, and you have to find the meat (and broth/sauce combos) that's right for you. I love that they give cabbage instead of lettuce (unlike many hotpot places). You can also reorder rice and not be charged for it! So great!! The environment is low-lit and comfy; it looks a little old in there. The service has always been so great, with waiters/waitresses that are so patient and more than willing to walk you through the menu. I've never waited for very long there, either. It's always been a great and positive experience. The pricing is on the higher side, and for a college student, that isn't ideal. I usually eat here once a month, or more if I can afford it. I'd eat it daily if I could, seriously. That would be my only complaint about the restaurant. But in this economy, I don't blame them. Overall, if I could eat this place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I would. Seriously, it's that good.

Incredible food; abysmal service. Stillwater has the luck of enjoying a kitchen staff that…read moreunderstands how to execute shabu shabu well. They also have somehow paired this lovely kitchen staff with some of the worst servers in existence (the bar for quality service is already low in a college town and someone Tokyo Pot has found people that can't even meet that low standard). During a 70 minute dinner this past week, we saw our emotionless server a complete total of two times. Once, when we were able to place a drink and food order, and then again, when they came by to ask if we were done and unceremoniously leave the machine we could pay our check with. The kitchen staff did a fantastic job of bringing our food (which was wonderfully prepared and tasty), but we really could have used another round of drinks, at a minimum. If you're going to hire people who only do the bare minimum, don't expect much repeat business
