Very good hibachi restaurant that I didn't even know was there. Located in the back of a shopping center, Saki Mura does a good job of helping you forget that once instead. It's a huge space with a lot of room for regular and hibachi tables, with modern decor. Service is very friendly and consistent which is not always the case with these kinds of places. They had an issue with one of the vents while we were here, however they quickly fixed it. Just needed to leave the back door open for a bit. Drinks were on the sugary side which is typical; my mai thai was good however I couldn't do 2. Soup and salad were good. Chef was one of the better hibachi chefs I've gotten. Wish they flipped shrimp instead of veggies for an appetizer, but hey, recession. More importantly than the presentation and show (which was good), they did a really good job with the food. Steak was perfectly cool if a bit over seasoned. Scallops were seared better than I've had at a lot of fancier restaurants. Massive portions too when the veggies, noodles and rice were factored in too. Of course my food got switched at home, and I got a fuckton of chicken instead of my steak. What to find! It's never easy finding a decent restaurant for a large party on a weekend in this area, but this is definitely on the list. They were happy to accommodate us and the service was pretty prompt. The food was excellent! We didn't do the hibachi tables, but they would've accommodated us at five or more. I stopped in for takeout during lunch time on a week day. The plaza was pretty chaotic due to the number of businesses and it wasn't the most pleasant experience looking for parking, When I entered the business, the seating was plentiful and open. My food was ready to go at the front and the employee was very friendly, I ordered chicken satay, which was very tasty. I didn't care for the greens put into the container because they ended up getting soggy. I also wasn't sure if I truly enjoyed the peanut sauce for dipping. The flavor was delicious but it had a strange texture. For my main meal, I ordered the 3 roll sushi lunch and that was a great deal. The rolls were pretty good and they tasted fresh. The rice was soft and the fish was tender. I enjoyed my meal and the cost was great considering what you would normally pay for the rolls. I'd have lunch from this spot again. read more

If you want Sushi, Chinese, Japanese, Asian fusion or Hibachi go to Saki Mura. They are the best at each category of dinning. I've been here at least 10 times now and it never disappoints. Saki Mura was highly recommended to us for a hibachi and we can understand why, it was fantastic! Reservations are highly encouraged especially for prime dinner time on the weekends. The staff is very friendly and they are constantly moving about, checking-in, filling drinks, and ensuring we had a great experience. They aren't pushy and didn't rush us either. The hibachi dinner & chef experience was great, hibachi is one of those consistently great meals & there is so much food! This place was spacious and modern. Great parking and centrally located. May be a mall but that's fine. Staff is attentive and friendly. Saw other comments about too many servers but there was a host, staff taking orders and runners. I'm cool with that because everything was quickly delivered and I like being checked on. We had apps: edamame and sushi, hibachi meals (with salad and miso), tempura ice cream dessert with green tea. Everything was fresh, gorgeous and well portioned. Definitely check this place out. You'll enjoy it. The hibachi tables are separated with a glass wall for larger groups. It really cuts down on the noise. We ordered the food but didn't need the experience so we were in the main dining area. The bar area is also large and accommodating for couples/small groups just wanting drinks/apps. The food was okay, the carrots and broccoli were very undercooked. The glass I was brought with ice water was extremely dirty. Thankfully I didn't drink from it. The waitress was not very pleasant but the waiter that came by was. I had a table for one and was in and out within 35 minutes, I ordered the salmon hibachi lunch. read more

The hibachi spot in the Kings Mall has gone through a few names over the years. The newest rendition is sakimura hibachi & sushi Asian fusion. This isn't just a new name slapped on an old concept but an entirely new restaurant from the ground up. I heard nothing but good reviews but I was skeptical based on the previous restaurant's occupying this space. First thing I notice is how clean everything is and then the menu. Hello reasonable prices finally. Some really solid apps around $10. I was going sushi today but alot of my party was doing hibachi. My sushi apps were delicious and fresh. Presentation was fantastic. The dinosaur egg appetizer was 2 halved avocado (4 pieces) stuffed with spicy tuna, crab meat, and deep fried. This was a huge appetizer and a must get. Hibachi portions seemed average but the show was top notch. After speaking to several people about their experiences it seems there are several variations of the hibachi show. Mine involved the famous little peepee boy and a super soaker filled with saki. Never seen a super soaker but my beard was drenched. Be prepared to hear the mechanical rat casino inspired happy birthday song on full blast over and over. It is a bit over the top and cheapens the experience. Big dark noisy restaurant with mediocre food. The rock shrimp were limp when they should be crispy and the. Fish dumplings were crisped which was unfortunate making them seem stale- fried. Not a lovely place and substandard food. read more

Kings Mall just leveled up, and I'm here for it! The service is so attentive, almost to a fault. The timing between drinks, apps, and mains was spot on--like they had a secret clock. The renovations? Sleek and trendy, perfect for Instagramming. Love that the Hibachi area is separated by a huge glass wall for viewing from the regular tables, bar and sushi bar. And don't wait for the liquor license; they comped us a glass of wine and a beer! (Also, totally allow BYOB during the endless wait for NYS to get their a$$ in gear with that LL) Prices are totally reasonable, too. Went with my friend. Service is horrendously disorganized, we had like 3 different servers for some reason and they got some of the orders confused between themselves. The fish is so fresh, and they are so consistent every time we come. I drive from Beacon to come here because it really is that good. I had the hibachi scallop and shrimp dinner. the scallops were cooked to perfection, gently seared and then finished until they were amazingly tender. truly a great experience and I will be back soon. the service was good, and the server was there when we needed him. the room is very open. the place is very clean and sharp looking. This space is in its at least 3rd Asian restaurant and the latest renovation is the best yet. As others have commented, I had multiple servers which slowed service. Their Hot and Sour soup is not a traditional Hot and Sour -- ok but on the bland side, no tofu and a thinner soup. Non-sushi lunch choices are limited but my chicken protein choice was well cooked and tasty. They need to allow the customer to choose their spice level. If you want sushi, this would be a 5 star rating but with the service issues and other menu issues, 4 stars is the right answer. read more

I was very excited to try this new restaurant. We ordered the sesame chicken to go and unfortunately it was barely edible. The chicken was extreme tough and had very little in each piece. It was mostly breading and a terribly sweet sauce. May give a 2nd chance with a different menu item. Overall a waste of $20. read more
