The full set took about an hour, which made the experience feel more focused on speed than on customized eye-shape mapping. I do want to give credit where it's due: when I reached out, the studio was responsive and professional, offered to fix the set, and ultimately issued a partial refund, which I really appreciated. The studio is also reasonably priced and easy to book. This may be a great fit for clients who like bolder, dramatic, traditional glam lashes. If you're looking for a lighter or more natural/modern style, it may not be the best match. During that entire time, I could hear her behind me scrolling through her phone. The moment the timer was up, she went straight to touching my eye area. No gloves. No sanitizing. I have no idea if the phone was clean, but her hands definitely weren't. The results were just as disappointing. The lashes near the inner corners were completely untouched and still pointing downward. I pointed it out immediately, and she brushed it off as "normal". Then I looked at the side profile and saw the curl wasn't a curl at all. It was basically a sharp 90 degree bend. Nothing like the photos on Yelp that convinced me to book in the first place. What really bothered me wasn't the hundred bucks. It was realizing I walked in with perfectly normal lashes and walked out with a problem I didn't have before, all because I paid someone to make them worse.
