Gut told me not to do it. I already had a bad experience at the Saks store in Huntington New York ( Yelp review) where some of the team members were rude. Loved this cologne " Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris Baccarat Rouge 540" that I wanted to get after loving a sample overseas in 2024. So Saks filed for bankruptcy. I was back in the US, California to be exact. I did not read any of the reviews of Saks online plus the Yelp reviews as well. Impulsively ordered this online on their site, prepaid and was pumped to get their e mail confirming pick up at their 9600, Wilshire Drive Beverly Hills California 90210 store. Picked it up from the Women's return counter downstairs where 4 ladies stood around looking at their nails and new i phones and cluelessly told me nope they didn't have it despite my showing them my ID, Amex card used and their 2 hour old e mail. One of them finally made an effort and retrieved the pre packaged bag from the adjacent back room ( 10 feet away). Got home and all the excitement went to s€#^ as I sprayed it on and nothing... It was weak. It was not the same. Beautiful bottle but the contents were debatable. Called CS who are slick - "take a photo of the entire package and send it to us, we have to approve it. No you cannot return it to our store. It has to be Fedexed ( you customer have to pay for it) to our return center in Pottsville Pennsylvania. They will examine it and then approve it. We will send you a gift card for the net amount- " wait! Whaaat? I told the young lady in CA that there was no way I was going to accept a Gift card and go back to their scam business. Then went to FedEx in Fontana who stated ohhhhh perfume - no, no, no special box and packaging - another $5.97 and we can't accept it - you have to go the Walgreen's across the 215 Fwy and ship from there. The comedy continued as the Walgreen's photo counter employee with the FedEx sign stated " but they are FedEx- they ship everything!!!!" . They did take it. I tracked FedEx to Pennsylvania and they got it 5 days ago and just issued the credit back to Amex. Whew! * Please read all the reviews and see how a lot of customers who are buying high end perfumes, colognes are ending up in the very same boat with the big leak and then having to deal with this. They are selling things where the photo is of something else. When you get it and try to return it they accept the return and never refund your money. I called them today. Here is what they say: Once we receive your item back we get 30 days to issue a refund. I say: It's been 40. They say: plus the admin. time. I say: How long is that? They say: another week or two. I even have an email today from PayPal--my methond of payment. Pay Pal says they have thousands of customers owed refunds by SAKs and they are sorry, but SAKS is refusing to send the refunds and to try calling them. Isn't this criminal Fraud? it's clearly intentional. It's part of the business plan. Anyway, I will never order from SAKS again. Does that mean no more Neiman Marcus or Bergdorff? I guess so. Parking in the structure is free for two hours, but make sure you keep the store receipt as that's your validation. read more

Heads up if you haven't been to the Saks Fifth Avenue store in Beverly hills for the last maybe year, here's the rundown when you go to Saks. They have self parking parking lot with several levels, and valet option at men's shop and women's shop, they are still separate buildings. now just another building between them. I usually park at the covered self parking lot on Bedford. It's free parking for 2 hours with proof of a receipt. (They tear the top part off or scan a barcode) Also, if you self park- get two hours validated for free - just need to show your Saks receipt to the parking attendant before you leave. Please note that if the store closes at seven, they might leave around 7:30 so really don't play around and make sure to get out of there in time and don't lose your ticket. The people in the store are not going to validate your ticket. Your receipt is your validation our ticket was not reading in their machines and it kept saying -please see attendant. naturally we told them we are gonna need some help. She decided to make a remark and say what would you do if I wasn't here , you need to do this on your own? I just looked at her nicely and I said I'm so sorry that people at the store didn't tell me I need to leave at a specific time. I'm a pretty patient person when it comes to being out and around Customer service people. i'm not being sensitive, it's her delivery/tone Could've been a little less harsh. I didn't give her any attitude back as she was getting frustrated trying to get our ticket in the machine and it still wasn't working as we had already showed her. So she made another remark again as if it's our fault. And we were just puzzled at that point, we did thank her for helping us as you can hear her sigh and get upset because she had already locked up the door to where she normally sits in. Of course we ignored her annoyance because we just wanna get out of there. In the end she use her key card as 2 more cars came behind us. hopefully this tip can help others in the future. I ordered a cute pair of translucent peach taupe Prada Rectangle Sunnies! I actually found them on sale (Prada hardly ever puts anything on sale) they retailed for $517.00 before tax. I got them for 271 pre tax!! Usually this doesn't happen as now I went back online and they are back up to full retail at $517 with only 1 pair left online ?! Umm wow.. not complaining! The Universe absolutely wanted me to have these LOL Ok now that you understand what to do or not to do about parking. back to the buildings got moved part and shopping experience! Basically Barney's building next door got sold to Saks. Saks moved everything in women's store into Barney's. The middle building between men and women's buildings is probably some kinda office /HQ or warehouse to store/ship items. The middle building used to be valet, but they moved valet also to the Barney's side. Now the middle building uses that old parking lot as an employee parking lot. It's a really nice clean building! We walked in through the back door and yes they have a front door entrance on Wilshire When you first walk in, (from back) where valet is, there's some sunglasses, mixed brands - and then some belts and shoes and a lot of the other brands all around. Then there are stairs that can take you downstairs to the Beauty section, so we started there to see what the latest and greatest was at the store. Everybody that we interacted with was really nice and not pushy with sales, and pretty knowledgeable with the brands they were working with. There are also restrooms downstairs, and an online order returns area downstairs. I'm not sure if you can return stuff you bought in the actual store there at the same desk - cause I haven't needed to do a return. It may be in another section of the store so don't quote me for an in-store bought item to return. I went back upstairs to go try on other sunglasses and found the pair I ordered upstairs as well - I tried it on and they fit perfect! lucky for me I picked up my order quickly and excited to wear them soon! They package everything up nicely every time, and if it was a gift, they can do some gift wrapping too! read more

This is the Men's Saks. For anyone confused, the women's is further down on Wilshire. In any case, the service as in most high end stores, is always similar, cold. Non-existent at times. I remember when you would get a gift card and they would package it in the box, wrap it with the ribbon, place in a bag and put tissue paper. You have to ask now, which to me is wild. This is the old Saks Men's store located at 9634 Wilshire Blvd - still open. The ground floor contains colognes, and some designer clothes. Second floor has higher end designers such as Canali, Ralph Lauren Purple label, also their sales racks. Third floor includes more trendy designers. When I went on a Wednesday, wasn't very busy, but the service was there. If you want top designers and are willing to pay the price, this is the place. I went into this Saks location for the first time today during my vacation in LA. I needed some specialized help. Many of the workers were polite enough, although seemingly not enthusiastic about helping me out or eager to be of service. I was directed to a man in the perfume counter; in the bottom floor, in the left-hand corner. His name was Andrew and I have to say not only was he professional in all manners, but obviously knowledgeable and deeply experienced. He attended me with care and for that I am grateful. Next time I am in town, and need to go to, Saks I'll definitely seek him out. I recommend anyone to visit this location if they've got a chance. He will get you squared away read more

This new location for Saks still Lois the old Barney stores set up. I expected it to be different. Overall, great place to shop for high end stuff especially with a sale. I have always liked Saks (men's) Beverly Hills, and most of the staff have been consistently professional, kind, and helpful. I went there to exchange the ties my husband bought but Unfortunately, my experience with Greg Torosyan was the complete opposite. During my visit, Greg Torosyan spoke to me in a rude and disrespectful manner, raising his voice and using language that was completely inappropriate for a customer-service setting. Other staff and the manager came to me and tried to help me out, very apologetically. However I left the store feeling shocked by how unprofessionally I had been treated by Greg Torosyan! When I returned a few weeks later with my husband for another purchase my husband addressed Greg Torosyan what happened, Greg again behaved unprofessionally. Instead of explaining or de-escalating, he reacted aggressively and used offensive language toward my husband as well. This kind of behavior is unacceptable from anyone representing a store of this level. I want to be clear that the rest of the staff at Saks Beverly Hills have always treated me with courtesy and professionalism. The store itself is wonderful, and the other employees deserve recognition for their excellent service. However, my interactions with Greg Torosyan were extremely disappointing and far below the standards customers should expect. I often shop online at their website, but had to come into the store here, the staff was very helpful and would assist in anyway possible. I had to return some of the things that unfortunately did not fit. The returning process was effortless and very quick. The store seems to have everything that you may want with an amazing selection, with all the top brands of any designer you may want! I shop here because they always have the best price and often get many different things on sale at a great value! The only reason I will say that I did not give them five stars is because coming out of the parking. The attendant was not very nice with me and complained and made a big deal out of an issue with the parking ticket that did not work properly from the beginning. It is impossible for me to write the review negative enough for Saks fifth Avenue. This is a company and a store that are absolute scams. We ordered one exceptionally expensive piece of clothing for a special occasion. It arrived and was simply not as advertised. We sent it back, but they did not give a refund. Even though we had tracking to prove that it was received, it was never refunded and they denied ever receiving it. It took multiple emails to the CEO and the executive team and multiple threats on social media to finally get them to admit that they deliberately did not refund the money at which point they immediately did. They gave $250 credit ostensibly for our time and we made the grave mistake of going to the Beverly Hills store to spend that credit. Again, used it to purchase an extremely expensive piece of clothing, which they did not apparently have in stock so it was shipped to the house. However, upon opening the package, even though we paid a lot of money for that piece of clothing, something completely different and dramatically cheaper showed up. It took a great deal of time and haggling in order to get our money back. One time is a mistake, two times is evidence of overt fraud. These are people who belong in prison, not on rodeo Drive or Fifth Avenue or wherever else. I would rather purchase clothing from target or Walmart then to go back to these criminals. Do not ever give them your business. There's a reason they're rating is so horrible here. I'm shocked that they even have 2 1/2 stars. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue's website. In early June, I purchased a dress online. At the time of purchase, there was no mention anywhere on the product page or during checkout that the item was "final sale." I only discovered this when I attempted to return the item about a month later. Customer service told me that the item was marked final sale in the confirmation email, which was sent after the transaction was already completed. They claimed that I had "20 minutes to cancel the order" after the fact. This approach feels incredibly misleading and unfair. If an item is not eligible for return, that is a material term that must be disclosed before the sale is completed -- not buried in an email sent afterward. Saks' handling of this situation appears to violate basic consumer protection laws, including federal truth-in-advertising standards. I expected more transparency and integrity from a major luxury retailer. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and caution others to double-check every fine print -- even if it's not shown at checkout. read more

Shipping times should be quoted as 'when we get to it'. 11 days out, I ordered a birthday present for my wife with 4-6 days shipping. On day 6 or 7 I realized the present hadn't arrived. I spoke to the chat version of customer service who recommended calling. I called and was assured the 'email' had been sent to the shipping team about the arrival date. The next day I received a confirmation email that the item had been shipped, with an estimated arrival the week after her birthday. I called to understand the situation and was told the shipping time should have been adjusted before it shipped. This was their 'help'. The shopping experience was far from premium. Birthday missed. The second floor has some very nice higher end merchandise. I can't wait to go visit the old Barneys store that they have recently opened too as I miss visiting that one and I am sure it's going to be great. This is a late review but figured it'd still be worth a share: The store has a vast selection of options to choose from, which can make it a pleasant experience. However, as per my last visit on 11/30/24, I was a little disappointed to see how a lady who helped us, whom I believe to be named Nicki or Vicky, was treated by either a supervisor or coworker. The guy began to question her ability to do her job right in front of us as if they were in a private setting. He questioned whether she reached out to every individual walking-in and asked them if they needed help -which she was- and then began to question how available she was to shoppers in the store. The whole exchange made me feel uncomfortable as I do not believe employees should be scolded or condescendingly be told how to do their jobs in front of customers. I felt very bad for the lady but she held her own and took him aside to explain herself and how she was helping others as well as myself. Beware of Saks! Their customer service is non-existent, and they clearly only care about $$$ at their customers' expense. My package was delivered to me cut open and the contents stolen. I opened a claim with Saks. A few days later, Saks told me there was nothing they could do because they checked the video of their distribution center, and the perfume was put in the box in the distribution center. This doesn't change the fact that the package was cut open and looted before it arrived. Instead of taking ownership of the issue by saying they would refund me or send me a new perfume and take care of figuring out what happened and filing a claim with the delivery company or otherwise handling through their normal process, as a "luxury" department store should, their only response (from multiple customer service reps) was that I should file a police report with my local police department. Excuse me, what??? Are you kidding me? Filing a police report for something like this is useless at best, and it puts responsibility on me for something totally out of my control. I've never had such a poor experience with a company ever. I will truly never shop at Saks again and encourage all to instead go to Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Amazon, or LITERALLY ANYWHERE BESIDES SAKS. Congratulations, Saks. Service is Way Lacking - Impossible to get refunded on time for online purchases The customer service through online sales and returns is deplorable. I made a purchase and sent it back two months ago, and I have still not been refunded. Saks sent me a Cinq a Sept gown with a huge hole in the back near the bottom of the dress, and the dress was dirty, and then accused me of making the hole. This was a sale dress, no doubt tried on a lot, with heels ... the hole was easy to figure out how it might have occurred. In any case, the package arrived at my house at 7 pm on a Sunday night and I returned it on Monday morning through FedEx. I told Saks why I was returning it in the online return process. They sent me a letter telling me they would not refund me because their "policy was not met." So I picked up the phone, called Saks, called Saks again until I finally got a manager with some sense. He said they thought I damaged the dress by wearing it, but it is clear that could not have happened since it arrived at night and I returned it the next morning. He had to pass this on to Corporate. Mind you, I still am not being refunded. So I had to file a dispute with PayPal. Still waiting to be refunded. Saks has the dress and my money. They used to be better.
