I walked in and it was dead silent. So weird! Why is there no music? The inventory is so slim and they have NO large sizing. I was looking for dresses and pants and I found ONE XL size. I was shocked. This is a place with zero inclusive sizing so safe yourself the time if you are looking for a variety of sizes. I didn't even really like a lot of the brands they carry and they only have a few items from each individual brand. I would not shop here in the future. They do have a nice selection of purses and glasses. So maybe I would come back for the accessories but you could also just go to the rack instead since they have a bigger inventory. read more

I stumbled in here with my sister because we were window shopping just because. The floor is grand and extends to a very far back area that includes even mens wear. The front entrance is well decorated with their most popular hot items. My favorite was the right side of the floor that had big and little trinkets from candles to plateware, and everything in between. I also got very enticed by the little giftsets that they have along the weaving line set up that they have there. I ended up getting a makeup palette set while standing in line to check out. I came in to shop for some sunglasses. Most of the glasses are locked up so you need to ask for help. The gentleman who unlocked the cases was patient and helpful. The store is bright and organized. It is rarely that I write about a department store. The fact that I am doing so alone tells you that this place is different and deserved recognition. I have recently been visiting the Saks Off 5th store in Woodland Hills. This outlet has been here for a while, but I found it only after ordering stuff online. They send me at least five emails per day ...but it doesn't seem to bother me ...because they entice me with the types of products that are on my radar. First and foremost, on walking in you are immersed in a wide space that is fully stocked with mens and women apparel, accessories, handbags (women), jewelry, shoes, eye wear and other items. There are no crowded aisles and you do not have to keep bushing on clothing because there is no place to move. I have been coming here for several returns to avoid the return postage fee ......and to shop. All the goods here are of high quality. Numerous designer labels are available in all departments. Saks also showcases their own brands here. There are deals here, but you have to find them. My returns were executed in a seamless fashion. While they may be understaffed at times (like many other businesses), all staff are helpful, and the good service justifies commendation. read more

I was discriminated and treated with disrespect. The employees do not know how to respectfully deal with customers that are not of the same cultural background. I purchased a ring which didn't fit and had to return. I had to cut off the price tag because it was a gift. One of the tags was still on and I had the other tag as well but not glued to it, but they refused to even offer store credit. They wouldn't allow me to speak and just bullied me out of the store. The three employees at that store do not align with the corporate DEI values. Products at most discount stores are the same, so when deciding where to spend my money, it will most definitely not be at this place. I can find discount jewelry at other stores without disrespect. This is absolutely the worst store I've ever been to....PERIOD. I guess it's my mistake for looking for shoes last minute before an event, but I went to purchase some shoes at their Beverly Connection. I tried to return them at this location after wearing them for 2 hours because they caused me to have two deep gashes in the back of my heel, and caused ankle pain. I was honest about it and told them about my concerns and the original cashier was very rude. Then she calls her manager Matthew who then said he couldn't return them because they were worn. I kid you not, if I didn't tell them I wore them, they wouldn't have even noticed! I told them what's more concerning is how if they really stood by their product, they would want to make sure that it's at the very least safe to wear. After a few emails and phone calls, Ricardo calls me back and says to come back whenever and speak to Maggie. When I came back later to speak with Maggie, she said all she could do was offer store credit, which I told her was never specified to me. Then she says Ricardo is on lunch and he won't be back for another 30 minutes, and unapologetically told me I could wait. When I asked for their District Managers name, she gave me someone who recently transferred to NY, which she wasn't even aware of. Ultimately, Maggie was able to ask Ricardo and according to her they can refund it to the OFP as a one-time courtesy, when in reality this should've been done in the first place. All of this could've been prevented, but because of Matthew and Maggie's lack of empathy, decision-making and leadership skills, I will make sure I will never step foot into one of these stores again! The "compare to" prices are inflated and the Valentino section has a prominent display with vibrant "Valentino Red" products. This review is for the security department of this store. When I come to purchase my items I realized my belongings were taken from my purse. I reached out to the security department and asked them to look at the footage to see if someone had stole from me. I had only been in the store for 45 minutes so they quickly found the footage and confirmed that it had happened. I asked to see the footage and for the description of the thief and they refused to show me the footage and they refused to give me any description of the person. They wouldn't even tell me what color shirt they was wearing. All they kept saying was, we will not show you any information or get involved unless the police department is requesting it. Now I understand policies, but this is straight out ridiculous. They helped that person get away by withholding important information because as we all know filing a police report online is not going to be quick for them to get back to me, especially with all the defunding of the police. It certainly won't happen in the next hour! So thanks for nothing to the useless security of the store. Pretending to stand there and watch out for the safety and security of customers. You are helping criminals and making Los Angeles a worse place than it would be if you didn't exist. read more

Okay okay so after reading the negative reviews on here I understand why this place has a low rating . Reading other customer experiences I can see how others might have had not the most positive experiences here . It's true some associates aren't as friendly as others but some are also truly amazing . It's really the luck of the draw . You just have to be your own advocate . If you have questions people will help . Don't expect everyone to be in your face all of the time . I personally hate that . It makes me feel like I'm being followed . Anywho as others mentioned Mohammed was amazing! I'm so glad he still works there. He was really nice and helpful . There was also this Armenian lady who was working the Sunglasses and optical section who was very helpful and accommodating. Kentoya at the register was patient and nice as well !!! I ended up buying 4 pairs of eyeglasses/shades including a cute pair of Dior and a Fendi eyeglasses and saved a little over $1200. I had to wait in line as there is always a line due to broken registers or limited staff . So if you plan on checking this store out be prepared to wait just like you should prepare to encounter traffic taking the 101 or 405.lol I personally think this place is worth driving in traffic and the lines in the stores because the deals are incredible on quality items . Remember I went to the store in Los Angeles to get the second pair, then I had to go to Woodland Hills to try to return the first pair, and then I had to go back the final time. Everytime I'm here the staff are all accommodating. One in particular is MOHAMMED. I needed a Tux for a wedding under $800, and he took his time showing me multiple options, in and out of the fitting room. Finding a fitting Tux requires patience's and he definitely has it! Not only did I find the perfect Tux, but he also helped piece all the necessities needed; e.g. shirt, tie, etc. From now on, when I come to Saks he will be my go to guy! My elderly and disabled grandmother needed to rest for a minute, and this woman rudely stated that she's not allowed to rest anywhere. As Saks Off 5th customers, I'm sure many of you are aware of how filthy many of their shoes on the floor appear to be. About a month ago, my boyfriend and I did some Black Friday shopping and I found Vince sneakers that I absolutely adored. The bottoms were black since they had been tried on god knows how many times. Other than that, they were in really good condition. I had no socks and I tried them on and they seemed to fit well. So my boyfriend bought them for me as one of my Christmas gifts. The time came around and I tried wearing the shoes with socks and it was IMPOSSIBLE.... THEREFORE, if they are TOO SMALL, I CANNOT WEAR THEM! Today I went into the store to simply exchange them for half a size larger. As Cara took a look at the bottom of the shoes, she made quite the disgusted face asking if they had been purchased like that and I told her yes. I said that they were too small. She kept going back to the same question and asked if I'm sure they were not worn before..... I'm sorry??? If they are too small, why would I wear them? And if I wanted to cheat the system to wear it a couple times and return them, I wouldn't have exchanged it for a bigger size. It was embarrassing of her to accuse me of such a thing in front of other store associates and customers. I told her to go check all the shoes on the floor to see that, in fact, that is how almost all of the shoes look. After that she decided to carry on; however, she was still looking unsure, which implies that I am an alleged liar. I have been a Saks customer for years and have collectively spent thousands of dollars here. No problem! I'll make sure to only give my business to Neiman Marcus from now on. Moral of the story: Run your purchase through Cara and have her observe the bottom of the shoes before purchasing, making sure they came that way, because if she assumes you wore it, she will give you a hard time and embarrass you! I guess the title of a retail store manager gives people some sense of entitlement these days. read more

No we were not greeted when we walked in, which wasn't really a big deal because the store was pretty busy. We went straight to the sunglasses section, honestly this store is perfect for discount sunglasses, they have so many options. Craig & Alan were the lovely gentlemen that helped us find a perfect pair of Gucci sunglasses for only $200! They were very informative of all the products in the store, promotions, and designers.
