This was one of our to go places for take out when we were trying to get things situated After we moved. Then the Covid hit it was completely take out and no inside eating. I am so glad they are finally back open we finally had a chance to go in and sit down for dinner I started out with a Sushi Roll, I took a photo and it got deleted :( I always get Chicken Curry to go, so it was nice to stay here and eat. My husband likes the pineapple Curry with chicken. I really like that they will make it the way you like it. On the menu it tells you what they add when making it. Here they make it a bit different than what I've had before never had potatoes in it l, not a fan so I take them out. I really enjoyed eating inside the restaurant and not take out. While we were there It was not too busy with people inside yet. The place was nice inside, clean. The waitress was friendly. One of my favorite local places. Of course we will go back and eat there again. Looks like a fast food restaurant from outside, if you haven't been here check them out!!

Wow! Finally tried this place after living out here for 2 years and what a great find! Food is fresh and plenty of veg and meat- whatever you want. Pho, curry, pad thai, sushi rolls... an extensive menu. High quality restaurant options are limited in this area, so this is a new fave. Also open 7 days a week which is unusual, so many places are only open 5 days.

Ok! It's been a few weeks. Service much much better, for appetizers we ordered the volcano shrimp, a Rock n Roll Sushi and crab ragoons. They all came out one at a time but came out at correct temps and all were very tasty! Some would say just a right amount of spice, I say a bit more would be nice. Next time I'll try The Thai Curry. We waited to order entrees until we received our appetizers so it wasn't all served at once. Only thing is they want to give the specialty cooks off 1 day a week so no Pho, Sakura specials or Thai Curry on Mondays and no sushi on Sundays. But a vast improvement to service and quality of food from the first time. Btw, we ordered an order of teriyaki chicken, teriyaki steak and an order of hibachi steak. All came out cooked and seasoned perfect!!! So so glad we gave it another shot! But I had a feeling they would get it together, too much at stake not to.

We eat here a couple times a month. Sometimes more. Most often, we get takeout as I have to take food to my 80 year old parents. After waiting 30 minutes for a call in order and watching 6-8 people get their food, I got all the way home to discover my order was totally wrong. I ordered hibachi shrimp, no fried rice, no sweet carrots, and add vegetables instead. Opened my plate and had NO vegetables at all and EXTRA fried rice. Just what a pre-diabetic needs! (Eye-roll). I was pretty upset but what could I do? I should have checked the boxes before I left the restaurant.

The food is GREAT! My wife and I started with the appetizer crab rangoons that comes with 8 to a plate. We may or may not have fought over who was going to have the last one. We ordered another plate to settle the tension at the table. Probably the best rangoons I've ever eaten. We both had the steak and jumbo shrimp combination plate, both were served hot and everything was fresh. No complaints here. The wait staff is attentive, they do also serve alcohol here for those who drink. I can't wait to come back.

    Pad Thai

Nice, clean place. Just ordered the Pad Thai and was not impressed, I believe that there was way to much tamarind in the sauce and made it inedible. The waitress asked how was everything but wasn't really concerned when we told her that the Pad Thai wasn't very good. This was the first time that Ive had that dish here and definitely will be the last. Ive had decent food here in the past otherwise this would be a 1 star review.

This is the teriyaki steak. They didn't put enough rice so it really just turned into soup. Akitas is better

Whether dining in or ordering takeout, Koi Asian Bistro is easily one of our go-to spots in town!…read moreI've never been a huge pad thai fan, but after trying theirs, I honestly get cravings for it weekly. Unlike a lot of other local Asian spots, everything here tastes incredibly fresh and never overly salty. The ambience is beautiful and the layout (and many windows) ensure that every seat in the restaurant is "the good table". The lovely people who work here are genuine, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant uses a cute server robot to deliver you beverages, and other items. Server staff still come to check on you so it's really just a fun addition and not a replacement for waitstaff. And the portions are GENEROUS! We always end up with enough leftovers for a full second meal or a late-night snack to share. Highly recommend!

Very Disappointing Experience…read more First off, the service was terrible. It took over 30 minutes for our food to come out, despite the restaurant not being very busy. The hibachi chicken was cut into huge, uneven chunks, and the portion of rice looked like it was being rationed. The presentation overall was not very appealing. We were also given the wrong vegetables, and when the carrots were brought out separately, they looked undercooked to the point that I didn't feel comfortable eating them. The sushi was also extremely disappointing. The rolls looked like they had simply been thrown onto the plate rather than being properly arranged and presented. Presentation was easily a 0/10, and the sushi itself was maybe a 3/10. I eat at a lot of Asian restaurants around Greenville, and unfortunately, Koi would be one of the worst experiences I've had. Between the poor service, incorrect food, lack of presentation, and disappointing quality, I would not recommend Koi if you're looking for good Asian cuisine.
