Yo estaba esperando detrás de él, y él seguía tomando comida para un tercer plato, hasta que la empleada volvió a decirle que no podía hacerlo; finalmente, se quedó con uno de los tres platos, mientras que los otros dos fueron a parar a la basura, arrojados allí por los empleados. Came here for a group gathering and heard rave mentions of this place. It's been a while since I've been to a buffet so I was pretty excited. I arrived earlier than the rest of the group and saw the doors open at around 11AM. I was pretty shocked to see so many families and groups lining up and immediately walking in. Once inside, it seems like a standard buffet with all the food ready at the side and the tables all around the rest of the corners. You can pick your own seats, and you get your own drinks, which I like because the soft drinks are sometimes charged extra in other places. The variety of drinks were also pretty impressive with rasbperry/blueberry juice to horchata/jamaica agua frescas, to hot tea or coffee, or sodas and lemonades. I picked out some of the hot food items mostly and grabbed seafood items. Sadly, the salmon and the sea bass to me were very salty and put me off from getting it again. I was told that the fish is usually much better, so maybe it was an off day unfortunately, but it was pretty salty to where you'd get worried of your blood pressure. Anyways, I was able to enjoy their hot soups (which were nice and flavorful) and other foods like chicken wings, orange chicken, steak, etc and found them very pleasant. So today's my last visit here because i usually come for the crab and I've noticed both times it's smelled like ammonia (windex chemical like) and I've gotten sick but I googled it and it said it's because it's gone bad. That's just dangerous eating seafood that's gone rotten and they're continuing to serve it... I get they gotta make a profit but not at my health's costs. DO NOT COME HERE, if you're coming for an average buffet find somewhere else. I can't describe it other than just dirty. The carpet looks ancient and is just black with must, and when you step on it its all sticky like they haven't cleaned it in months. There was a homeless person touching all the plates in which NONE of the staff took the initiative of telling him something. He then proceeded to take my plate of food when they offered a refund. Poor atmosphere and lack of management oversight ​This was our third visit to Sakura Buffet. We visited on January 8th after 12:30 PM, hoping for a peaceful lunch, but the experience was unfortunately very stressful. ​A woman who appeared to be dining alone with several children allowed them to run wildly throughout the entire restaurant without any discipline or supervision. This created a chaotic environment that showed a complete lack of respect for the establishment and other diners. ​I brought this to the manager's attention, requesting that they speak to the parent and ask that the children remain seated for safety and decorum. Unfortunately, management did not take action. While we like the food, we cannot enjoy a meal in such a disruptive setting. We won't be returning if this lack of supervision and management intervention continues, as the experience is simply not worth the frustration. read more

Worst buffet I have ever had. It made my husband and I sick. It was expensive, bland, and just not fresh. I went to eat the crab legs and you could tell that they were frozen and possibly expired. It was salty and there was barely any meat inside. After being disappointed, I basically tried almost everything from their sushi to their soups to their chicken wings and nothing was worth eating. How do you mess up mashed potatoes or maybe it was the gravy that made it bad? Why would you add peanut sauce to chow mein? And to top it off, they have the audacity to have a sign stating if you waste a lot of food you might be charged extra. Well if your food was any good, people wouldn't want to throw it away now would they? The only thing that was worth it was th haagen daaz ice cream. My sister really likes this location. The variety is pretty good. Price ranges from 15-35 dollars. The best part is the fresh grill. Really liked loading up my own plate for the fresh cook on the grill. I chose to stay away from shrimp or any protiens.I'm a little afraid of the temperature control on the fresh meats. So I avoided. All the cooked buffet food looks really good. And with some soy sauce tastes good. The chips are a bit stale. I did add salt or soy sauce to almost all items. The mashed potato, however, was fantastic!! I enjoyed the self-serve drink station as well. The food was fair. Service seemed friendly. Blanca was incredibly kind and very sweet. My last review was removed only to say the food is horribly rotten and disgusting and the service is a bunch of angry people in masks probably mad with all the food waste that happens there. The smell of fish in the high desert is overwhelming where I just did not want to eat and for the Mongolian bbq the chicken pictured told a story of not being stored at the proper temperature! Where is the health department when you need it. Many items were nearly empty and stayed that way during visit. Came in approx 7p on a Friday night, was there till at least 9 was killing time catching up on work as traveling. The service: only person that spoke to me was bus boy/gal wanting to take plates. Drink is self serve fountain. So I am still not understanding the reason for price. Extremely disappointed. We had a reservation scheduled with Skura Restaurant, and they never contacted us to inform us they would be closed. There was zero communication from their end. As a result, over 100 people showed up expecting an event that could not happen. I had an interesting experience here at Sakura Buffet. First things first, the Crab Legs were plentiful, but had an aftertaste of cleaning detergent. As a rule, I don't do buffets. The temptation to overeat eat mass-produced food simply to get your money's worth in the transaction is too high. But... when I visit my mother, she always wants to go to Sakura, and this time she talked me into it. I was pleasantly surprised. They have a LOT of food to choose from, and most of it looks to be pretty well prepared. They had plenty of vegan offerings so I was able to indulge myself way beyond what I should have done. The Mongolian barbecue section was done fairly well and without excess oil, though they could have offered at least one non-meat protein. My biggest complaint about the place is that every single person I interacted with, from the cashier to the person stocking the food and the person clearing our table was sullen at best. I use to go to this place years ago and it was great. Today we were in the area and decided to eat here. The quality of the food has gone down. I have never had sushi that was salty. The salmon was not fresh. There was not much variety. Also noticed the vivid color of the food which means they put too much food coloring. Good was the fried chicken strip, sesame balls, fried plantain and ice cream. My husband tried the area where you pick the ingredients and they cook it for you, he said it was okay but the quality of the meat was not good. Will not be coming back here. read more

There really isn't anything really bad about this place I have to say so that's why I gave it a 4 star. So a year ago this place was bought out with new owners so there are a few changes. First things first , you cannot beat the price here. I believe it's $15 for lunch and $20 for dinner. Upon paying for yourself and whoever you are with you are just then left to figure it out and find your own table wherever there is one available so don't be waiting for somebody to show you to your table. Drinks/sodas are included in the price along with coffee unlike before you had to pay separately for whatever you were drinking . There is a wide selection of foods here and everything is hot and fresh. They have the Mongolian grill on the side if you want to pick out your beef or chicken and veggies, they will cook them for you, me on the other hand. I'm too impatient and usually hungry. There is a salad Bar with a few good choices,there is also plenty of fruit, melon, cantaloupe, pineapple & grapes so if you prefer to eat light, you can do that here. If you're not eating light, then there is a large array of different dishes to choose from,too many to mention , along with seafood, crab, shrimp, mussels, on the dinner menu. I'm not sure if the lunch menu caters to crab and muscles also!! But I'm sure they have shrimp on the lunch bar regardless. They also have a small sushi bar which I was surprised because it actually was not bad at all considering.
