We decide to try this restaurant because of the good reviews but please don't be fooled!!!!! Unfortunately me and my family had the worst experience on Mother's Day. The restaurant was way over booked. We got seated 45min after our reservation time. That should of been enough of a sign. But it kept on getting worst. There was a crazy amount of people both inside and outside. We were very disappointed with the food. Look at the pictures before you go. Even the pancakes were hard and burnt, eggs overcooked what restaurant gets that wrong! We had to wait in a line to get to the food only to have to wait for clean plates. We had such a bad experience. We left decided to eat and have drinks at another restaurant on the boulevard after. I called to speak to the manager, but haven't received a call back. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The service was not on par with what you would expect for the prices being charged. My filet mignon was overcooked on the outside and still raw in the center. I had specifically ordered it bacon-wrapped, but it arrived without the bacon. The vegetables were also poorly cooked and lacked flavor. My mother-in-law ordered the chicken marsala, and the bacon that came with it was undercooked and the dish overall had very little flavor. Ambiance very nice and elegant. With that said my wife and I , will never go to a restaurant entertaining an after wedding event. I feel bad for the only cook working last night on Sunday 7:30 . Poor guy was overwhelmed obviously because it took some time get get our dinner, and server was nice enough to comp.us a salad .My halibut was overcooked and hard and very salty, I asked for another plate .Time the second plate came close to 9pm. I want to give a huge shout out to the Champignon Magnifique & the steamed mussels. The mushrooms were a 10/10! Hands down one of my favorite appetizers I've had in a long time. These mushrooms have the perfect amount of batter on them, and an incredible homemade caesar dressing. If you enjoy mushrooms, you must definitely get this! The muscles were also fantastic. There wasn't abundance of sauce, which was great because we dipped all kinds of things in there as well throughout the night. My only feedback here is that I wish they came with more small toasts. Caesar salad was also good. Our server for the night was a doll by the way. He was such a sweetheart and made such fantastic recommendations! What an absolute treat! I wanted to take my family out after a long day at the racetrack and thought a nice dinner would fit the bill. La Papillon delivered! We started with their home-made bread (Amazing) and decided to do a round of Oysters. I don't eat oysters but I took a gamble and gave it a shot and it was a nice balance of salty and mild sweetness with that oyster twist that makes them so addicting. When it came to the main event I went with the Ribeye. It came with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. The steak was great in that it had good flavor, texture, and it also came with fried onions on top as well as a side of Red Wine & Mushroom sauce. The sauce was a nice touch but I didn't need much of it. The family ended up getting pasta dishes and were very happy with their selections. That night was especially nice because they had a singer who executed classics from Sinatra and Englebert Humperdinck but the cherry on top was that he NAILED a sinatra-esque version of the Spiderman theme song. My 16 y.o. son was so impressed that he went up and tipped the guy. On top of the great soundtrack to our dinner the ambiance of the place is very nice. Cool little place in Lancaster Boulevard, serving Endless Brunch on Weekends and regular entrees all day. Celebrated my mother's birthday here today and did not disappoint. Half of the table explored the Bruch and other half explore different entrees. I tried the steak and eggs but did not photograph as it was delicious. The service was amazing and the place was not too busy for a weekend. The drinks are separate, they are not included with Brunch. Booked this brunch hoping to do something nice for Mother's Day and it turned into a terrible experience. The restaurant was extremely overcrowded with zero organization. We had to walk around looking for someone just to order drinks. There were way too many people packed inside -- honestly, if there had been an actual emergency or fire, it would have been dangerous. There was barely any room to walk, and someone in a wheelchair would not have been able to move through the restaurant comfortably because the pathways were so blocked and crowded. To make things worse, a lady at the table next to us dropped and shattered a glass cup, and no one came to clean up the broken glass sitting on the floor. The food was disappointing as well. Most of it was barely warm, the self-serve stations were left open with flies landing on the food, the fruit looked old and not fresh, and the lines for food were ridiculously long. On top of that, the food itself just wasn't good. This was our first time coming here and definitely our last. We stayed about 30 minutes before deciding to leave. Such a disappointing way to spend Mother's Day. Would not recommend at all -- complete waste of money. read more

I was so excited to go here for Mothers Day .. We had reservations!!! We waited more then 30' to 40mins to be seated.. One of the waiters said we can go inside and get food .. Well to say the least the placed was super packed inside .. Idk if you can called that a buffet !!! it was a salad buffet to me .. I've been to this restaurant many times and never been disappointed, but Mother's Day was a mess. I made reservations 4 days ahead and still waited 30 minutes because it was so overcrowded. Honestly, it didn't even seem like reservations mattered. We could barely walk through the place, and by the time we got food, it was cold. This is truly the best place to eat on the boulevard. The prices and portions can't be beat- especially for the quality of the food. The service is amazing. Everyone is greeted so warmly and the servers are very attentive. There is even patio seating for those beautiful days- a great spot to drink their yummy bottomless mimosas! We stopped for a Saturday breakfast. Was told by reviews that this was very close to broken bit style restaurant. However. The place was very loud due to a number of children and people there which was really OK it's felt lively. They were having a buffet, but not being a buffet person. I ordered off the breakfast menu. The food served to us look like they just scooped it off of the buffet and put it on a plate. The country fried steak was so thin I really couldn't find any meat. The potatoes and Eggs and the meat and gravy were cold and really unappealing. I asked to have my eggs redone because they were cooked incorrectly. That came out nice and warm and I enjoyed those. I have been here before (2 times) for Lunch and it was really nice, but we thought it would be a nice place for Brunch on Mother's Day, sadly it was a terrible experience. The tables were so close together that you could NOT even pull your chair out, way too crowded, lines were so long to get to the food and the desserts were yummy, but nothing else was! The selection was way to small and not being refilled quickly and you were trapped in a corner just trying to get the food, I think it would be better if they don't do buffet style cause there is not enough room. Passing through Lancaster Googled pet friendly eateries and found this wonderful place. Staff were great and Lilly was fantastic. Friendly, courteous and made us feel comfortable and at home. Being that I recently became disabled I was mesmerized with her genuine, sweet and kind soul. Customer service was phenomenal. We sat on the patio and she went above and beyond. We didn't have to hunt her down or ask for refills. Food was fresh and flavorful, I would highly recommend this establishment and give it a 10/10. We had the buffet at a fair/reasonable price. With ribs, beef stew, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, salad everything looked and smelled amazing. The entertainment was great, the service was to be expected with it being a bit busy for the holiday, but the food has definitely gone down in quality and taste. I ordered Coconut Shrimp and the first order I received I sent back because they were cold and overcooked. The 2nd attempt was at least warm but still slightly overcooked. Tasted like they were maybe previously frozen. Ordered lamb chops, asked for Medium Rare and received Medium Well. Ordered their house made Tiramisu and it was the worst Tiramisu I have ever had. I was there a few weeks ago and ultimately sat in the patio with another guest and the rest of my family in the restaurant the food was good and service ok but when the bill came a gratuities was added claiming that due to the party being seven a gratuity fee was added even though I told the waiter that we sat at different tables and were served separately he just said that he had put us together in the system and we owed a gratuity now. We paid $60 gratuity together. I'm all for tipping for a good service but I should choose what I'd like to contribute specially when there was only two people at my table. read more

I initially emailed the restaurant directly hopeful for a response but that didn't happen, so here we go. I made a reservation for a party of 3 for the brunch menu for today, May 11th. Upon arrival, we were told there was a buffet for $20 person and there was no brunch menu. That information is not posted on your website, let alone the price being more than posted on the website. Had I known that, I would NOT have made a reservation. The line was long, food area was cramped and the limited items available due to refilling the stations and then served with small plates and plastic utensils. Is this really the type of quality service you offer? Your website says live music every weekend which I felt was going to be another nice touch for Mother's Day. When we left at 11:15, there still was no live music. They were still setting up. Lastly, there was no true table service. We were offered drinks one time, and then never any follow up. Plates on the table, no pick ups, no drink service and we requested the final bill. Only then, to be disappointed again to see that gratuity was included in the final bill for a party of 3. I was anticipating wonderful service and a delicious meal along with live music, only to be greatly disappointed by the lack of attention and services provided. Worse steak I've ever had in my life. The service was good and the appetizers were okay but my fiancé got the meatballs and they were super dry and the spaghetti sauce was like a paste. It was such a horrible experience especially for 8 people for $550+ was insane. I got the NY strip and the steak was burnt on top and in the middle it was red but not medium rare red. Ate one piece it tasted like a rubber tire and the red that I saw eventually turned dark and the whole steak was overdone. I stopped eating it and the potatoes were horrible. The carrots were the only thing that were okay. This is not a steak house it's a hamburger joint pretending to be a steak place. Go somewhere else. read more

Updated review Dinner Service! My husband made reservations for my birthday dinner here. But we were both so excited he had never been here but this was my second time here but first time for dinner. I came previously for lunch and it was amazing. 9/16 a saturday night it was absolutely horrible from the food to the wait time to the lackluster service. When we arrived we just stood at the entrance for about 5mins with no one to greet us. Then when the hostess came over we told her we had a reservation but she just said for two and escorted us to our seats. I had to let our waitress know that it was my birthday. Our appetizers we're good! we ordered the steamed mussels which were my favorite dish of the night. we also had the Ahi Tower and raw oysters which were both okay. Not to my liking but my husband enjoyed them. We did enjoy the live music by rat pack Ricky. My water glass stayed empty the majority of the time. When the entrees came out that is when things went completely downhill. It took almost an hour for them to come out. We had the burger which was so overcooked and dry (we asked for medium). We couldn't get past how anyone would find it acceptable to send that out! My lamb chops look amazing from the outside, again we asked for medium and they were overcooked well done! My mashed potatoes and veggies were cold dry and tasted like they had been microwaved multiple times. When the waitress asked why we were sending back both our entrees my husband let her know that his burger tasted like dried out meat loaf and I told her about my lamb xhops and sides. She took it back and let the chef know. They sent their apologies. the waitress said she didn't want our night to end like that and asked if we wanted to try anything else on me. I was very tired and disappointed about how the food tasted and I was ready to go. she was very persistent and was recommending other items so in good faith. and because of the previous experience I had I wanted to give this place another try. so I ordered the salmon. it took about another 30 minutes worth it to come out and it was all right. We really should have just ended it at that entrees. Our server really tried her best but I was just done I've never wanted to leave a restaurant so bad. So the end of our experience was waiting another 15 minutes for my birthday dessert. I chose a creme brulee which was dry and overcooked. but the presentation was beautiful, a huge thank you to rat pack ricky for singing happy birthday which was probably the highlight of the whole experience. For the amount of money they are charging for these dishes I expect perfection. We spent over $140 for a horrible dinning experience This isn't it!!
