    Dynamite roll (and Alaska roll)

This was my dynamite roll? Everywhere else I've ordered this roll it was toasted, but this is just a bit lukewarm with two random cream cheese sticks on top :/ It said baked on the menu, so not quite what I was expecting. Fried rice and hibachi were delicious though. Hibachi came with white sauce as well

Great Service, vibes and food. Social distancing and mask are required. I loved all the food. The steak was tough I couldn't chew it ie reason for 4 stars in-lieu of 5. Shrimp was DELICIOUS!!! Very friendly atmosphere and very clean. Will return when I'm in town again and try the lobster.

There sushi here is sooo good I strongly recommend coming here the customer service excellent

One of the few restaurants, in Charlottesville, open Christmas Day. Service was fast and friendly quality of the food not so much. We did teppanyaki and the show is a big part of the experience...Audience/guest participation makes a difference. We happened to be seated next to family who weren't really into the show, which in turn made our chef not have the energy to go all out. He performed the bare minimum. I ordered scallops and lobster. Scallops We're perfectly cooked, the lobster was tough as shoe leather. Margarine was the overwhelming flavor in the fried rice. Husband had steak and shrimp. Shrimp were overdone and rubbery. Ultimately this place is about the show and not the food. Go with a large group and the more energy you project the more it spurs the chef to perform. If you're a party of two seated with a group of quiet folk the energy isn't there.

My family, friends and I used to visit Sakura quite often. Back when you could get the vegetarian dinner for like $15-$16 and be completely satisfied. As of lately that is no longer the feeling we leave with. My party of 5 decided to give Sakura another try while a family member was visiting and not only have the prices been touched once again but the portions seem to be smaller. There is no option cheaper than $18 any longer unless it's a kids meal and they won't let adults order that. The service was decent, had to wave our waitress down most of the time. With the amount they are charging you'd think they'd upgrade the scenery by now but it's still the same from when we'd dine there back when they first opened.

Filet with fried rice and zucchini and carrots only. Veggies adjusted by request.

First off: we have some severe food allergies and a couple of picky eaters at that. The staff here are amazingly accommodating. I was able to eat my meal without others comprising their experiences. Food tastes great!

Service us very slow. A thirty minute wait when export tables exist. An hour to food once seated. Food is just okay. Good portion size.

Ive gone nearly every month for the last two years and it's always a great experience! the one and only time our food was a little off, the manager was happy to take the dish off our bill and even took our dessert off the bill which we had ordered on our own accord. my boyfriend recently left his retainers at the restaurant and had no hope that they were still there, but the manager had saved them for him! overall a great restaurant run by great people. would highly recommend!!

As soon as you walk in, you're welcomed into a warm, clean, and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant felt well-organized, and the staff greeted us right away before showing us to a booth--our favorite type of seating. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, giving us plenty of time to look over the menu while also offering a few personal favorites when we had questions. That balance of great service and genuine hospitality really stood out. The food was outstanding. I ordered the Tom Yum Lemongrass Soup with pork and the Chicken Pad Thai, while my wife had the Wonton Soup and Drunken Noodles. Our friend chose the Dry Noodles with Duck and finished the meal with the Fried Banana Ice Cream for dessert. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and arrived surprisingly quickly. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, and everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meal. If you're looking for authentic Thai food, friendly service, and a relaxed dining experience, Thai Cuisine & Noodle House is definitely worth a visit. We'll absolutely be back!

The previous owner ran it into the ground since buying it from Peter Chang, but now the original owner is back. We have had two family banquets here over the past month and they were fabulous. The sleeper on the menu is the great curry fish soup. Peking duck is available every day and is simple and superb - crispy skin and slivers of rich meat. The "party room" has big round tables with huge lazy Susans, so passing dishes is easy. That room has a wall size TV which was playing the World Cup both days we were there. The main dining room is more elegant. They are still waiting on their wine and beer license as of July 2026. We ordered a huge amount of food and the bill with tip came to $50 a person. Also recommended is the fragrant numbing hot pot. Don't hesitate to order very spicy - this is Cantonese cooking, not Szechuan. Any drawbacks? Well, although there are lots of vegan options, don't expect to find low fat. steamed vegetables- this is traditional authentic Chinese with a heavy hand on the oil in most dishes. The soup dumplings were a little disappointing, too doughy. Final recommendation: split an order of the burnt sugar glutinous rice for dessert - it comes with 4 big pieces, easy to share.
