This place is so freaking cute! It's decorated with cherry blossoms and boba plushies and I am all for it! In fact, my friends and I were trying to take pictures and knocked one of our drinks over. We felt awful and tried to clean it up, but the staff there were really friendly and replaced the drink for us. Thank you so much and please excuse my clumsy friends. I got the lychee slushie with lychee boba and my friends got a raspberry slushie with kiwi boba and a coffee boba. I've been wanting to try Sakura Bubble Tea & Coffee for awhile now, but I hadn't had the time to until today. Upon entering, they have an adorable archway decorated with pink flowers! Everything inside is super cute and definitely photo worthy! My sister and I both opted for the sakura milk tea with matcha! I chose to have a green tea base with lychee jelly as my topping and she got her drink with a black tea base with the brown sugar balls. Both were so delicious! The sakura and matcha pair so well with the lychee jelly! We also ordered a few other drinks for friends and they really enjoyed theirs as well! The person at the front desk was very friendly and sweet! I definitely will be coming back to try their other drinks (they have a variety of drinks: milk teas, yogurt drinks, slushies, smoothies, coffee & non coffee drinks, etc). read more

Came here on Saturday for the first time and really enjoyed the decor of this adorable boba shop. They have been open for only four weeks now, it is owned by a female asian entrepreneur and they are bringing in that beautiful feminine vibe for this space. I got a matcha boba oatmilk tea with a green tea base. The matcha wasn't as strong as I would expect but the green tea base made up for it with its strong fragrant flavor. My sister tried the Sakura with butterfly tea base and I must say, I loved hers! I might just get that one next time. J-Pop is playing, owner is very nice, it's a cute place to get boba and the cups have little bear ears. What's not to love? Will definitely be back soon! read more

I don't know what it is about strip malls but they always have fun little shops through their grey gloomy presence. This is a small shop with little seating but great options. This is the first bubble tea spot I have tried in Grand Rapids that has aloe vera (though it was oddly frozen which I didn't love but was happy to have the option)! They had so many great varieties for tea, slushies, etc and the women working were helpful to walk us through everything. The tea is very sweet but we all enjoyed it after we let it warm a little as this shop puts a ton of ice in the drinks. I would definitely go again though ask for light ice, 50% sweet as a great starting point. read more

Super Cute ! Super Yummy! This new Boba Tea and Coffee shop just opened up 4 weeks ago. What makes this shop different to other shops is that it's inspired by Japanese theme and flavors. They also have Sakura themed decor which is sooo pretty! And their service was nice, kind, and respectful! However, don't let the cute theme stop you from stopping by cause you'll miss out on their DELICIOUS DRINKS! They have their signature Sakura (Cherry Blossom ) drinks but of course they have a variety of different options that makes want to keep coming back for more! (Check out pictures for menu) I tried their Sakura Milk Tea (it was supposed be pink but I tried it with the Butterly Pea so it was a different color) the flavor was so nice and not overwhelming and light. The tapioca was much more softer and less dense. My sister and my Mom tried the Matcha Milk Tea Latte boba and they really enjoyed the flavor. First of all, the Boba was shit. You poor, deceived midwesterners who rave about something you know nothing about. Being from California, where you have a plethora of quality, authentic Asian businesses to choose from, I can tell you this was the worst experience I've ever had. Boba (tapioca pearls) is supposed to be soft and slightly sweet. This was hard, stale and bland. The Hispanic girl who took my order was rude. I told her what base tea I wanted, and expected her to follow up with, "ok, what flavor?" Instead she started LAUGHING at me as if i was dumb and ordering wrong, and said "that's just the base, you have to add a flavor." I was shocked that someone could be so rude. BTW, the menu is also not authentic. Ordering like that is completely different than an authentic bubble tea place. Bubble tea originated in Taiwan, and this is just not the same. read more

The service is amazing! The person who greeted me was very kind and even helped me choose which tea I should use for my drink. The drink itself you can definitely taste the tea and it's not on the sweet side. I personally thought the drinks were pretty good (make sure to mix your drink!). My partner enjoys it and thinks the sweetness level is perfect. Overall I would prefer the fruit teas here than the milk tea so far, but I've only tried one milk tea compared to two fruit teas. The place is very cute I think it's the first thing I noticed when I walked in and the cups are hands down the cutest cups I've ever had. I think this place is definitely a worth to try based on service and the place itself! I would definitely come back to try my drinks with toppings. read more

Sakura Bubble Tea is such a fun place to go. It allows me to mix and match different teas with the flavors that they offer AND the boba or jelly. I enjoy trying different combinations every time I go. The service is pretty straight forward. They ask you what you want and you pay for it and then they go to the back to make the drink. The look of the place is nice and bright. It gives me something to look at as I wait for my order to be made. read more
