From the moment we walked in, the owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. He took the time to show us around the property, and honestly, I was wondering how I had never discovered this hidden gem before. Every room is uniquely themed with classic old-school Palm Springs charm. From JFK and Marilyn Monroe-inspired spaces to an adorable Playboy-themed room and even a Liberace room, every detail is thoughtfully designed, classy, and full of character. The indoor bar area is absolutely amazing and adds to the fun, retro vibe of the entire property. The bartenders and staff were all friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We rented a cabana, relaxed by the pool, enjoyed great music all day, and had food delivered directly to us. The drinks were fantastic, the atmosphere was perfect, and everything felt effortless and enjoyable. I was looking for a quality, reasonably priced hotel for a quick trip to Palm Springs and Yelp sent me the right way on this one for sure! These are just some of the things we loved: -calm atmosphere without being stuffy -bikes to use while you are there -bungalows with all the cooking facilities to make you feel at home -postcards pre-stamped in the room so we could write our friends -super stylish digs -nicely maintained pool area with fire pit -our own private patio with fire pit and BBQ -really, really sweet hosts who made us feel totally at home I just can't say enough good things about out experience. I have stayed at some super expensive 5 star hotels all over the world and nothing compared to this. This is hands down my favorite place I have ever stayed. There's now a $75 resort fee that includes "complimentary breakfast" and bike rentals, which felt disappointing given the overall experience. During our three-day stay, there were never any pool towels available, which was extremely frustrating since relaxing by the pool was our main goal. On top of that, the pool itself was murky, and the sides looked dirty--I was under the impression hotel pools are cleaned daily. To make matters worse, the ice machine didn't work for two of the days, even though there was a heat advisory in effect. Overall, while there were still positives, for $400 per night, this stay did not meet our expectations.

Again....The stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish for our brief time there. If there's anything to improve it would be nice to have some shade at the pool while you're actually in the pool. Since it was so humid and hot, which is uncommon for Palm springs, it would be nice to be in the pool and still have some shade.
