I picked up a box of 150 calorie frozen pudding-ese popsicles. Then, I stopped in for for a $3.50 go onigiri afternoon snack. They had a wide selection. Then, after 8pm all prepared foods are 50% off. I picked up sushi rolls, goyza, and shumai for dinner. All delicious, There are rows of Japanese snacks (shrimp chips, and ramen packs), all the sauces, fresh veggies, and Japanese Kit Kats. Small shop, but well stocked.

This Asian grocery store also has ingredients for cooking your own rice, noodles, dumplings or vegetables. They have soy sauce and ponzu sauce in bottles, soba packs, frozen gyoza wrappers, packed egg noodles, and even frozen pork. All reasonably priced. There's a vegetable section also that carries: Napa cabbage, mushroom, ginger, scallion. These are a little bit pricier, but it's convenient if you don't want to shop around. And of course, they have Sapporo beer and other drinks. They charge a few cents for bags like most places do, so bring your own. It's also good for the environment. They usually have two cashiers and a small line. It moves quickly though.

The rice was below room temp which made the rice sticky and hard to chew. Disappointedly, no plum Onigiri. There are spicy tuna, spicy tuna mayo, spicy salmon, and Unagi (eel). Soy sauce condiment is available for purchase at $0.75. It is very well stock with inventory of Asian imported snacks, Asian ice cream, beauty products, home goods, including prepared hot foods tempura, teriyaki, ramen as well as sashimi/ sushi. Price is reasonable specifically in 2026 stagflation era. If my trek home was close to Chinatown I would surely purchase one pint of Matcha green tea ice cream. They're decent in size, flavorful, and juicy. The people who work there are also very nice and will make sure to pick out the best-looking one if you ask. They're also kind enough to warn you that it's hot. I also noticed that there is a shop with fun products for sale and a small restaurant in the back. I believe they sell curry. This was the best spot to pick up a snack before class every week and since I graduated it's a shame that I won't be able to come back weekly. I will do my best to come by and pick up a bun now and then when I'm in the neighborhood or have spare time. NYU students this is the place to go. The prices are fair too.

They are labeled with instructions for microwave heating. Ended up picking up some pork katsu curry and a salmon onigiri. As you can imagine, you can never make a deep fired item crispy when heated via microwave... so, the batter on the pork katsu was pretty bad. Mixing the meat with the curry made it "better". The portion is also not very generous for bot the rice dish and the onigiri. For the price, I guess it is a passable meal, but, this is a bit of a walk from my office, so, it makes is not worth it for me.
