I had the house salad-get extra dressing (so yummy), a cup of Tom Kha soup w/ veggies (BEST I've ever had), and mildly spicy Lemongrass stir fry (amazing flavor, although slightly oily). Each dish can be customized to your preferred spice level. Usually "mild" at other Thai restaurants, even my local go to restaurant, can still be way too spicy for me. A wall full of taps. You get a swipe card and it charges your swipe card by the ounce. I don't drink beer but my friend appeared to be really happy with the selection. Because she couldn't pick just one, she made herself a flight. That's right, you can make your own beer flight from the beer wall. So for you beer drinkers I imagine this west side establishment is a hidden gem. I'd definitely come here again, with spouses and adult children in tow. Extremely disappointing experience at Toki Hibachi tonight. Made reservations to celebrate my father-in-law's 80th birthday. My son and his family came in from Alabama. Our entire party arrived 5 minutes in advance of the reservation and got in line immediately behind two other groups who were then seated. When we checked in the hostess advised we would need to wait in the bar area for about 30 minutes, as they only had two grill chefs. I asked her if they knew they'd only have two chefs when we made the reservation; she acknowledged they would have known, since they only have two on Wednesdays. I asked if the groups she just seated had reservations. She acknowledged they did not; however, she said "they got there before [we] did." I would understand if we were late, but we were 5 minutes early... Absolutely unacceptable. No apologies. No attempt to extend the least amount of effort to perform even a modicum of service recovery. I asked if it would be possible to seat us at an empty grill table for drinks and salads. She said it would have to be at the bar. I was embarrassed and we were all disappointed, as we were really looking forward to our meal. We retreated to our cars and called Olive Garden down the road to see if they could accommodate us. They were busy in their own right, but they bent over backwards to make our dinner a special occasion. I highly recommend Olive Garden over Toki Hibachi for your special occasions.
