I asked if the groups she just seated had reservations. She acknowledged they did not; however, she said "they got there before [we] did." I would understand if we were late, but we were 5 minutes early... Absolutely unacceptable. No apologies. No attempt to extend the least amount of effort to perform even a modicum of service recovery. I asked if it would be possible to seat us at an empty grill table for drinks and salads. She said it would have to be at the bar. I was embarrassed and we were all disappointed, as we were really looking forward to our meal. We retreated to our cars and called Olive Garden down the road to see if they could accommodate us. They were busy in their own right, but they bent over backwards to make our dinner a special occasion. I highly recommend Olive Garden over Toki Hibachi for your special occasions.
