I can't get enough of their sushi burritos! I was so stoked to hear about a new restaurant on the west side of town, especially a hibachi restaurant! I'm a sucker for hibachi dinners with the open grill and couldn't wait to try it. When they opened I checked out their menu and did see the hibachi items but what has won me over were the sushi burritos and the sushi tacos. I've gotten them for take out a few times now and absolutely adore these dishes! I've had the crunch burrito and the on fire burrito and the unagi lover taco and the crunch and fire taco. They are so good! I love the fusion of flavors! Also the take out orders are ready super quickly (usually a 10 minute pick up time). Of note, the pictures of the tacos on the menu show multiple tacos but the order only comes with one. It's still so worth it because I love that crunch but the picture is a little misleading. This place is takeout heaven. Very good, fast service, always ready in nice containers within 10-15 mins of calling and has a drive thru window. The food, it's your typical Chinese/hibachi fried rice and or somewhat greasy lo mien noodles, but the sushi tacos are something else. The shells are flash fried seaweed in tempura and always perfectly crispy with huge portions of sushi meat, one of the most unique and tasty items I've ever had, and a surprising item on a pretty simple menu. The sushi burritos are huge, 2 can easily split, and the they are not shy with the shrimp in either the rice or the noodles. The reason it's a 5/5 is you know what you're getting every time. Delicious sushi tacos, filling burrito, and huge portions of fried rice or noodles that sometimes are needed to scratch that classic takeout meal. The Bulgogi was basically just beef fried rice, and the Sushi burritos just don't land right, perhaps if they sliced em like a roll it would be better. Hibachi Madness is the best thing to come to Springfield. I can't even begin to describe how much I love their sushi tacos and sushi burritos. The tacos have a super crunchy nori shell, amazing sauces, and are perfect in every way. The burritos are enormous and a little messy to eat, but taste amazing regardless. I crave their food on a regular basis. Oddly enough, I don't really love their hibachi meals despite the restaurant name, but the sushi tacos and burritos are so good that it still comes in as my #1 favorite restaurant. The sushi tacos are fish, rice, and fixings in crunchy tempura-fried nori, and the burritos are wrapped in chewy nori. Both delicious. We also ordered the beef bulgogi and that was fantastic too.
