I love salad and go, however I wasn't pleased with my recent salad. First, I'm not a fan on the salad dressing packet being placed on top of my salad. Second the meat (pulled chicken) was buried under everything where I was having to dig to find it and then it was in chunks where I had to go through and shred the meat to have a more consistent salad. Do y'all have salt & pepper? I'll need to ask next time, because the salad I had desperately needed some seasoning. The ranch dressing was watery. Like I had puddle of dressing at the bottom of the bowl. I also got the caramel apple lemonade. I hate to say I hated something, but I hated this. It was extremely sweet and had like a burnt after taste. I ended up just tossing it as I couldn't get past the taste. They had a booth at the Too Cold To Hold yesterday where we got samples of the lemonade and learned that they serve breakfast! They gave us coupons (and who doesn't love a good coupon, so breakfast this morning...yes, please!). The Sweet Heat Breakfast Bowl is low calorie (280) and has eggs, sweet potato, avocado, red pepper, and pepper-jack cheese with a spicy adobo sauce (on the side). I probably should have warmed it up when I got home but even so, it was still delicious. This is a drive-thru business so no eat in option. They have 2 lanes and even though they seemed to be experiencing some small issues getting things together, their service was still fast and friendly and our order was correct. My bf had a traditional and a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito. They are twice the size of what you find anywhere else. The tortilla is thin and tasty, stuffed with quality ingredients, and delicious...all for just over $3! They are the best breakfast deal I've found in a long time. I love the customization ability for every item. They pack a lot of flavorful ingredients into their wraps, leaving you feel full but not in an overwhelming way. They also offer tofu as an alternative to meat. The staff provide fast and friendly service and they keep the restaurant clean and organized. They even serve peanut and other nut based dressings on the side in packets to prevent cross contamination in their kitchen for those who suffer from allergies. They substituted another cheese (Pepper Jack) instead of the Bleu Cheese Crumbles and pulled off the onions. HUGE, filling salad! I've had the steak and have had the chicken with chicken being the last one. Their ranch dressing is super good! Their chili is almost stupid it is so good! Just as the name says, this place specializes in salads, to go. It is not a walk-in/sit-down type of restaurant as everything is done via drive thru. Drive up, check out the menu, place your order and then drive around to the window where you pay and receive your freshly made salad. This location has two lanes for ordering which is probably helpful during the busy times of the day. On my first visit, I went with their Cobb Salad and I was not disappointed. It was very fresh and was a lot larger than I expected. The nice thing is the salad dressing was on the side which I added once I got home. Their containers are designed in such a way that once the dressing is added the salad can be shaken to distribute the dressing. This is an awesome concept!!! As someone who can never get enough salad, this is welcome addition to my rotation of places that specialize in salad.
