    Raw burger

They served us multiple extremely raw burgers that if we were not lucky enough to catch we would be very sick. Have tried to call multiple times and left my number asking for a response and still nothing. Would never go here again it is not safe.....

    Grilled cheese

The employees at this shake shack don't know how to read. You can see my receipt which shows I selected no bread crumbs and add tomato to my grilled cheese. Neither of those things happened. But next let's look at this grilled cheese. It's smushed, soaking wet with grease, is covered in grill scrapings, and is ironically small. You'd think that if a restaurant puts in tablets for you to order with they'd hire people with over a 3rd grade reading level but that's not true in this case. All of that is a whopping $35 by the way.

Always a big fan of Shake Shack. Not because of what they stand for but because of how good their burgers are. If you've been here, you know how they are. They are truly consistent across all their different locations. They have a couple of new items on the menu that I want to try soon. I'm not the biggest fan of crinkle cut fries. Just not my thing. I wish they had tots or something. I also really like their shakes and custard. Custard is supreme when it comes to ice cream (aside from gelato). This location, the staff isn't very helpful though, except the manager. She was really nice! Solid all around though.

Food-was pretty good overall just not as filling for the pricing. Bacon cheese fries were meh. I was expecting more of a rich Rico's nacho cheese flavor or ballpark concession style but theirs was lighter in flavor and color. Service-fast Price-for what we got was pricey (we have a family of 5 though) didn't completely fill my husband and me up either so that was a bummer (even with the fries) Shakes were decent (one vanilla and one cookies n cream) Ambiance-outside was great! Loved the seating area and overall vibe and a good deal of shade even though it was hot when we came. There are table games to play as well. My son and his teammates seemed to enjoy themselves.

This was probably our third or fourth visit, first time since the pandemic. Place is still as busy as ever! The staff were all so friendly. We ordered the Smoke Shack double, the Avocado Bacon Burger single, and a single order or cheese fries with two drinks. We used the kiosk and it was fairly simple and easy to use (you can also order in the line). We found our seat as the place started filling up, had time to wash our hands. About 12 min after ordering someone brought our food out to our table. The burgers were hot, fresh and delicious, my husband gobbled down his burger while I slowly enjoyed mine. The cheese fries have a creamy macaroni style cheese on top and oh my goodness were they super good! I would get them again in a heartbeat. I was again impressed with my visit. Will be returning during our next visit to Uptown.

A big beautiful evening should be spent at this location of Shake Shack. There is a big yard overlooking an intersection of "big D" that features a steady flow of humans strolling, cars rolling and charming street cars from another era. Wait, there's MORE. There are big chairs to sprawl in, games to play, burgers, fries and...SHAKES! I've stopped by twice in my short visit and enjoyed a delicious Strawberry shake one time and a Chocolate masterpiece on the second. It's conveniently located next to the Arts district and the Klyde Warren urban park. Don't waste a great evening in Dallas without spending some valuable time at Uptown location of Shake Shack.

Was staying in the area and decided to try a new burger joint. The service is unique as you don't actually talk to anyone unless you need something. All ordering is done at a kiosk. So can't really rate any service interaction. Food wait was under 10 minutes so that was good. Only downside in store was the AC was out but the temperature was not horrendous considering it was over 100 outside. The bacon cheese fries were great and so was the strawberry lemonade. The burgers were cooked well and seasoned perfectly. The fried onions added an additional flavor layer that was a great touch! The outdoor area has some nice tables and chairs and some outdoor games for kids and groups. Overall enjoyable experience

Ping pong was a definite hit!

I'd give it 5 for the atmosphere and location, which is top notch. Love the picnic tables, benches, Adirondack chairs, and outdoor games on their shady, expansive lawns. But let's be real - it cost $7 for a cheeseburger that was less than 1/4 lb. Fries and drinks are a la charge. The nuggets were very greasy and the breading was soft, not crunchy. Throw in some shakes (braum's is much better, IMO), and you're easily looking at $70 for 4 people - 2 were kids. The food is decent, don't get me wrong - but it doesn't justify the cost.

This was my first time having Shake Shack! I had a YouTuber recommend it from CA but there are none in OK so when visiting TX I really wanted to try it. Burger was good, like a better Freddy's Steakhouse burger. The fries were yummy, like Braum's crinkle-cut fries. Their website got me really excited for the pomegranate basil lemonade but this location didn't serve that. I got the strawberry lemonade instead, and it was also very good. Good late-night food. We came pretty late at night on a Wednesday and the parking was full, so we went underground to park at the Crescent parking. This was confusing because the parking mentioned Shake Shack, but we forgot to see if parking could be validated and had to pay the $10. It was also confusing how to walk out of Crescent parking, as the elevators took you up to a building separate from Shake Shack. Regardless, we eventually figured it out and got in and out with our food to go. I'd eat it again but probably would try a different location!

A little pricy, but delish! I dig their tempura mushroom "burger" and their chocolate malt. If you order from Uber - skip the fries. However, if you eat there, definitely order the fries. So good!

I've been a fan of Shake Shack for a long time and this location didn't disappoint! I came here a couple weeks ago for a Sofar Sounds concert. I had the Bourbon Bacon Cheddar Chicken Sandwich (also comes in burger form), a black and white shake, fries, and a really good flavored lemonade. Everything was really good. This was the first time I've ever gotten a chicken sandwich from Shake Shack as I'm a "burger queen", but this chicken sandwich and toppings really worked well together and I think I'd prefer this over the equivalent with a beef patty. This location is right in the heart of Uptown. They validate if you park in the underground garage at Hotel Crescent (adjacent), which is great! This location has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I moved to Dallas last year and have been to Shake Shacks across the country, and when I first saw this location not long after I moved to Dallas, I said "wow that's gotta be the nicest Shake Shack ever." I said this because of the large outdoor dining area. There's plenty of shade, trees, space, and seating. It made for the perfect place for a small, intimate outdoor concert. I loved it! Now let's face the facts. I've noticed since I first moved here that people in Dallas really don't seem to care that much about Shake Shack. In almost every other city I've been to one at, they always a long line and wait to order and are packed. I had my suspicions and I can tell by the reviews that my suspicions were accurate. There's no denying that Shake Shack's burger tastes a lot like In-and-Out's burger. There's also no denying that if you're going to get a burger that tastes similar, you're most likely going to go to the one that's cheaper, which in this case is In-and-Out. Dallas is one of the very few areas outside of California with an In-and-Out, so for all the rest of us folks from elsewhere, Shake Shack is the place to go for that type of burger taste. Dallas, you're spoiled. Shake Shack is great, and definitely has better fries!

It does have an old vibe to it with the people go to you to order the food. There are many cars outside and was worried that it would take awhile. I ordered the following #5 Special with bacon #1 The best burger and then the cheese fries I got the order within 10 minutes and did not take too long. Once they deliver the food to you, I paid through credit card and then you can tip them so I gave them an 18% tip as they were nice and serve the food to me. The food is very messy and oily so make sure you bring some hand sanitizer. They packed in a lot of napkins as well. The burger itself was just alright, was a little cold for me though so not so sure how long it was waiting. The lettuce and tomato was a little on the soggy side. The meat itself was just alright. When I ate it, I did not experience the wow factor. I can not complain about the price however. Overall, I rather go to Inn-n-out, but I am glad I got one of the places to try in Dallas out of the way.

Mixed Plate Classic ($12.99) + Seasoned Vegetables ($1.00): We chose the Honolulu Chicken, Kilauea Chicken, white rice, and seasoned vegetables. The veggies tasted like frozen veggies and the white rice came underneath the chicken, which we didn't realize until after. Had we known, we would have chosen the macaroni salad as our second side instead. The Honolulu Chicken is supposed to be garlicky but the flavors were just alright. The Kilauea Chicken was way better and had a nice little spicy kick. The white rice was also okay but a bit on the harder side. Additional Teriyaki Sauce Cup ($0.25): We ended up pouring this over the vegetables to give them some flavor. SPAM Musubi Single ($3.79): Not good. The rice was hard and they just poured teriyaki sauce on top of the spam. Skip this one. Pineapple Luau Slider Single ($3.99): It was okay but I wished it was made with Hawaiian rolls. Scoop Macaroni Salad ($0.99): Also just okay. It tastes like a black pepper macaroni salad. You can skip this one too.
