Exceptional! My family and I were running errands on a Saturday and wanted a healthy lunch. We discovered Protein Source via internet search, and we are SO glad we did! We wish it were closer to our house, but it's got an easy-to-get-to location that we hope and expect we'll get back to. My son (10) and I ordered the BBQ chicken bowls, and my wife had the ahi bowl. The food was fresh and delicious, and the portion size was great. It filled me up, and my son with a huge appetite had enough to bring home. My wife loved the ahi bowl and ate every bite. I've been coming to Protein Source for a little over three years now, and it's easily one of my favorite healthy places to eat in Las Vegas. The food is always fresh, tastes amazing, and the portions are generous. I've noticed it's under new ownership now, and the new owner is incredibly friendly and involved. Every time I see him, he takes the time to say hello and make sure everyone is having a great experience, which really says a lot. My favorite order is the Bulk up Bison spinach wrap--it's absolutely incredible, and I highly recommend trying it. The staff is always kind, the restaurant is consistently clean, and the quality of the food has always been excellent. They also recently updated their outdoor patio, which is perfect during the cooler months in Las Vegas. Another big plus is the location--it's right next to LVAC in Summerlin, so it's super convenient to grab a healthy meal before or after the gym. Amazing food, very healthy finally a decent option because sometimes healthy isn't always the tastiest but THIS PLACE MAKES IT SO. The portions could be a little bigger for the price I think, but the quality is very worth it for the most part. I got the steak tenderloin with cauliflower and avocado as a build your own but they have really good bowls and burgers here - vegan and vegetarian options. Of all the Protein spots in town, this one is my FAV! I love everything about this place. The dining area is small but cozy and clean. Atmosphere is casual and versatile. You could have lunch on your work break or enjoy sitting outside on the beautiful covered patio with friends. The staff is really wonderful and polite. Our order was taken quickly and with no issues which is also how it was brought to our table about 15 min later. I had the West Side Turkey Bowl. There so many Bowls to chose from too! I ordered mine with no beans or rice and added more veggies as the base. It was delicious! Turkey was not dry and perfectly cooked as were the veggies. My friend had the scram eggs with turkey sausage patties and the protein waffles. I had some of the waffles and they were really good! I would come here more frequently if it were closer to home. It is one of my favorite spots to bring friends who want to eat out but still want to eat healthy and watch their calories/macros. If you gave up on this place like I did....come on back!!! The owner himself personally took care of customers as they came in to order. Veggies were crisp, and the quinoa, pineapple slices, and spinach were so tasty. The agave teriyaki really sealed the deal. I absolutely would order it again. Price was $19 but it's salmon and the portion and quality made it worth it. Salmon piece isn't as big as the one in the picture on the menu but was still a good size. I came in to order to go and the service was really fast (less than 10 minutes). They brought the order straight to my table in a bag with utensils ready to go. I have yet to stop by, but I'm pretty lazy so I usually use the"build your own" option from the Door Dash app. From what I've tasted, all food is properly prepared and because I live close by the food is still nice and warm on delivery.
