We stopped by for breakfast. We ordered four meals two coffees and two orange juices. I liked that it's clean and the service was fast. I did feel like it was overpriced. It was $94 for everything but because it's not a sit down restaurant I would expect prices to be lower. I don't like cheddar cheese so I requested maybe feta or goat cheese but the only other cheese option they had was queso fresco.The food quality is okay not the best. Just disappointed. Ordered a two eggs anyway. My eggs were fine, toast well it wasn't toasted and was soggy, bacon was under cooked and rubbery, and hashbrowns were soggy. Not sure what's going on but I have ordered from here on DoorDash and eaten here. Maybe the cooks day was off but none the less it's extremely disappointing to experience this here and then being told you have to pay for something that was under cooked and wrongly cooked but not offering to re-fire anything. First off all I don't like giving bad reviews especially to a neighborhood joint so I'm giving it three stars because I need to try Scramble again. Also the coffee was surprisingly good. One thing to know is there is no table service. You order at the counter and they have a lot of choices so if you have never been there it's hard to decide while other people are waiting behind you. I came with my mom and we were craving pancakes so again didn't get any eggs which is what they are known for and their breakfast pizzas. So I'll come back to try those. We split buttermilk pancakes and a cinnamon roll. They do have real maple syrup but of course they up charge for the good stuff. The pancakes are ok but don't taste like buttermilk pancakes. They looked good but it definitely tasted like a mix and not a good one. They were way overly sweet. They weren't terrible but just not great. 4/10 on the pancake scale. The cinnamon roll also tasted like a store bought premade roll. It was also kind of burnt and didn't taste like anything. The only good thing was the coffee which I was highly skeptical about because it was serve yourself from a carafe. But it was good and strong. Nice views of the mountains and the patio is dog friendly. I want to like this place because it's in my neighborhood so next time I'll try the eggs dishes. I love going here because it's a fast casual breakfast spot that actually has a large variety on their menu but it's simple at the same time. I normally get the sunrise breakfast sandwich and it hits the spot. I love how they toast the bread with butter so it's extra delightful when you bite into the sandwich. They also have fresh squeezed orange juice! The service to me has always been normal- not over the top but also just enough to know you are being taken care of. Perfect when I'm half awake on the weekend. The weekends can get pretty busy but there is a good amount of parking available. Coffee is pretty good for a fast casual restaurant as well + a fairly good price. read more

It's been about 6 years since I was at Scrambles Cafe. Party of three for a Sunday Brunch. Not too crowded at 10, but started to fill up around 11:30 for lunch. Ordered my usual Southwest Burrito with a fruit side. Son had the Hickman Burger with kettle chips. Nephew had biscuits and gravy with hash browns. The Southwest Burrito had egg, cheese, chorizo and a jalapeño cream cheese. Added some additional chipotle to spice things up. Service was very good. There is a surcharge of 50 cents for each egg which is expected given the egg shortage. Coffee was still hot but close toward the bottom of the urn. Overall a good dining experience, but not the five star review as I remember as before. read more

Great location plenty of indoor and patio seating with vibrant welcoming colors and quirky decor. They have something for everyone and I chose to try the Brizza aka breakfast pizza. What a great decision! The flavors of the Toluca were explosive and the ingredients fresh. Each bite made me want another one. The jalapeño crema and chorizo with peppers and Monterey jack cheese just worked harmoniously. My brother got the Mex Benedict with pulled pork. It looked phenomenal. Not a local, but was driving by and saw this place was open at 7:00am and I was hangry. Glad I stopped in! The place was bright, clean and the vegan burrito was outstanding. Being a long-time customer of Scramble, I am deeply appalled that my spoken concern for the safety of patrons, and the public, regarding an aggressive dog, was dismissed by an employee- a tall man with dark hair, wearing prescription eyeglasses at approximately 8:15 A.M. June 4, 2025. I informed the employee that when I was approaching the entrance of the restaurant, the dog on their patio began barking aggressively at me and wouldn't stop until I retreated. This is a big red flag- a serious safety concern. The employee told me I was lying because they see the patrons and their dog often. I could not believe his unprofessionalism, disingenuousness, and the audacity to call me a liar because I raised concern for the safety of patrons and the public. I understand wanting to ensure the happiness of pet owners but I don't think it's wise to dismiss matters of public safety in the process. Aggressive barking can and has lead to dog attacks in many scenarios and it would be a tragedy if someone got injured because this restaurant, and its employees, chose, instead, to accommodate an evidently aggressive dog. Not only that, this would inevitably lead to a hefty lawsuit. Suffice it to say, I will no longer do business with this restaurant chain because it has proven that the public, nor my safety, is of utmost importance. That speaks tremendous volumes. read more

Wonderful little eatery that offers a pretty nice variety of breakfast items until 2:00 pm. The staff who took our orders were store friendly and knowledgeable if the menu. This is in a sketchy area but don't let this deter you. You will be going before 2:00 PM so you're golden. When you walk in you will walk up to a counter to order and pay. If you are dining in, choose where you want to sit. There are a couple of televisions to watch with no sound. But why come to watch television unless you're at a sports bar? For take out, there really are no seating options just hang out up front until you order comes. They will bring your food to you either way. Patio is dog friendly. They have 2 vegan scramble options and multiple gluten friendly options. I liked my food but must say that the drink area reminded me of a circle K. Not very appetizing. Drove past this breakfast place for over 10 years and never went in to check it out until today. Basically it is a Pei Wei offering breakfast. You walk in and you order your food from 4 menu boards down a narrow aisle which leads to a cashier. If it was to be busy I can see this aisle way becoming a huge problem because people have to stand at the boards to read the menu. Ordered an Egg White Vegetarian omelette which came with hash browns and toast as well as a chicken salad for my girlfriend. Portions were decent sized and price wasn't bad. Food was good When you think of a breakfast spot you expect to be seated and served and this place was more cafeteria like. I didn't hate the concept but didn't love it either. Stopped by Scramble on a Monday morning as I was in town for a conference. Decided to check it out and get a quick bite as I worked. I ordered the Southwest Bfast Burrito as well as a Maple Cinnamon Latte. Both were delicious! The burrito was the perfect size and extra cheesy. Hash browns were a nice crispy side. My wife had a small order of scrambled eggs with sausage, and toast. My son ordered French toast and scrambled eggs. The place is very clean and has the ambiance of a family friendly atmosphere. You do have to order before and you are given a number to place at your table so that they know where they will bring the order to. After we had finished the gentleman that had taken our order came to our table take our dishes away and came back to strike into a conversation with my son as I had mentioned before to we were here to celebrate my son's birthday. My son asked him when his birthday was since he mentioned he had a birthday last month. Low and behold his birthday was on the same day as mine. The staff is friendly as well as helpful. Enjoyed my okay late morning breakfast/brunch at Scramble. I personally adore the bright colors, easy to understand menu, an array of seating options, and.....the highlight, the bEaUtIfUl view from the patio (which is also dog friendly). But, all this costs $$... The southwest breakfast burrito with hash browns on the side and freshly made salsa was okay (and filling enough for two), and was delivered to the table lightening fast. Unfortunately, the jalapeño sauce and chorizo flavors were barely noticeable. The drinks were.....again, okay, but a little pricey. $3.69. I believe it's one free refill if you stick around for a while. But, just from my own recent experience, Starbucks' teavana iced tea is $2.65 for a venti, sooo....hmmph.... Ultimatey, the bill was $21.37. One burrito ($12.29) and two drinks plus tax......It's $10 for a tasty shareable burrito downtown, so.....it didnt really stack up for me (or my wallet). When you approach the restaurant, the surrounding vista captures the eye but the outside of the building is understated. I was a bit concerned but once I was inside it was a different impressions. It's a clean, airy open esthetic. I ordered the vegan French toast and got has brown with it. I also got a coffee with oat milk. I like that the coffee and hot sauces are self service. There was some confusion with my food when it was brought out as it was brought out in a to go container when I was dining in. The server took it back to the kitchen and brought it back on plates. The server was really sweet how we I ordered the eggs Benedict and my eggs were rock solid. I waited over 15 mins for the eggs to be redone by which point my toddler and hubby were done eating. When we asked the server it turned out they didn't even start the eggs. Like really? So I ended up not eating my meal since it's not really eggs Benedict without the eggs.I tried hubbys pancakes and they were ok. Not a ton of chocolate chips and they were pretty tough. The sausage was overcooked. I remember this place being a lot better so I'm disappointed. They refunded my meal and even gave us a free entree for next time which is really nice. The food here never disappoints. As per usual, my husband and I stopped by for brunch after a hike at North Mountain right up the road. Cafe style where you order first, then find a table. When you first walk in there are screens with the menu on it. There is a menu at the register also, as well as trifold to go menus to look at. Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan friendly menu. Great condiment section in the middle of the restaurant with a lot of different types of hot sauces, jellies, and creamers. Family and dog friendly. High chairs available for babies and toddlers (and a koala changing station in the bathroom) as well as disposable water bowls for pups if you sit outside on the covered patio (just have to ask for one at the register). Worth noting that this place does get pretty busy in the morning on the weekends with sometimes a wait for a table and a line out the door to order. read more

We've driven past this Scramble location so many times, usually in the way to and from work. We decided to finally stop in for breakfast before heading to the DBacks midday game. We were expecting a regular sit-down restaurant, but this was one of those places where they have a menu along the wall as you walk to the counter to place your order. You then place and pay for your order, get a number to put on whatever table you choose and wait for them to bring the food to you. They also hand you cups so you can get your drinks at the self-serve station. I guess you'd call it fast casual, just a step above fast food. I have to be honest, we don't love this concept and wasn't something we really had on the east coast. It feels a little impersonal. The food was very good. I had the French French Toast - no, that's not a typo. They use French bread to make their French Toast. It was delicious. It comes with a side of fruit which was very fresh. I also ordered a side of extra crispy bacon. It was delicious, but not sure 2 slices is with $3.99. Hubby went with the Huevos Rancheros which seems to be his favorite breakfast item since moving to AZ. The servers were excellent. Food was delivered fresh and they did a great job working the room to clear tables and get anything you needed. Overall a good meal, although a bit pricey (which is probably going to be the norm in this Covid era), and we just don't love the impersonal feel of this style of dining. read more
