First off, the moment I walked in the door, I could instantly tell that this was a welcoming environment for me and my pals. Each worker had a GREAT smile on their face, and I instantly knew that the food would match that level of awesomeness. I was overstimulated and had a minor sensory overload with the amount of different bagels and options on their menu. However, after I ordered a lightly toasted everything bagel without poppy seeds, sesame seeds, dried onion, and garlic, but WITH cream cheese, lox, and tomato, with salt but no pepper, I felt more calm. I started salivating. Then I went to sit down, and I tripped and hit the floor, but, then, they brought my food, and the frown got wiped off my face! Boy! Was that first bite something else. So this was my 1st time here and since it was a "Cheat Day" (gym terminology) I thought I would actually see what the hype was about with this franchise. This restaurant is conveniently located amongst other stores and there was plenty of parking when I pulled up. Upon walking in, there was a cute "selfie" machine at the front entrance if you and your friends were feeling photogenic. There was about 2-3 people readily available to take your order which made me feel good that there was a sense of urgency. Although the young lady was extremely nice- overall I thought the customer service piece was a little off. I didn't necessarily get that welcoming greeting - not saying that every other restaurant does it, it's just nice to have as an added bonus. There was a gentleman that walked in (I'm assuming an existing customer) and the manager or owner more than greeted this man! I just think it would've been nice if that could've been extended to other customers (including myself) just a little bit. Other than that, I ordered the "Steak, Egg and Cheese" on a poppy seed bagel which was AMAZING! It also took no time to receive my order. Overall, although the customer service was lacking - I would come back and would recommend this place. I just think that maybe if this establishment makes that little tweak? The women at the counter were wearing pajamas and had long fake nails, and looked unclean, handeling food and beverages- very gross. I asked the woman at the counter for a coffee with milk and sugar (They moved the coffee station behind the counter), and she gave me a cup of milk with hardly any coffee or sugar, filled to the top, and the lid was put on incorrectly so as I walked out with food and coffee in hand, coffee spilled all over my pants.
