I have passed by Salad Station before but have never tried it and was in the mood for salad so decided to give it a try I ordered my salad online and the online application was quick and easy to go through. I ordered the chicken cobb salad, a make your own salad. and an order of chocolate chip cookies. when i got to the store - and the time listed on the order - my order was ready and the pick up process was quick. overall, the salads were large in portion and had good flavor and tasty ingredients. the make your own salad has an estimated price but this is also based on weight. overall it was a great meal at a good price

I stopped by here around 2pm (after lunch rush) on a weekday after picking up a friend from the airport. The staff were so friendly and helpful even though we left a bit of a mess with the baby deciding to throw her food around after her belly was full. I apologize for the mess and thank you for taking care of us!!! I noticed the staff worked together as a team to take care of its patrons. We ordered the banh xeo- it was very crispy and full of fillings (bean sprouts, onions, pork, shrimp). The banh xeo itself had a noticeable sweet coconut taste which complemented the savory filings. The bun bo hue had a good spicy lemongrass flavor and the meats were tender and juicy. The lemongrass tofu vermicelli was also good! Meal portions were generous and we enjoyed all the food. Nudo is definitely worthy to be added to your list of lunch/dinner rotations. We had a great dining experience there and hope you do too!

OMG, how did this place not already have their own business listing on Yelp? For shame! Though I am…read morehappy to get a chance to be the first to review Vintage Garden Kitchen on Yelp, because this is an absolute *gem* of a business, and everyone in the world needs to know about it. Yesterday afternoon, I saw a tweet reminding people to place orders before 4pm, because today (Wednesday) is the day they deliver - yes, that's right, deliver! - their jars of amazingly delicious, healthy, vegetarian-friendly, locally sourced, and [insert list of superlatives and synonyms for the word awesome] soup. Straight from their garden, via the kitchen, to your door. Thanks to the reminder on Twitter, I placed my order online yesterday afternoon for four pints of soup: Fiery Shiitake Mushroom and Barley; Moroccan Chickpea Stew; Rustic Vegetable Bean; and Vegan Lentils and Greens. Each pint comes in a re-usable mason jar, and when you collect six of those, you get a free pint of soup with your next order! Brilliant: it's savvy (saves the business money), and green, and convenient. There's so much win here that I'm having a hard time putting it into words. Long story sort: The Vintage Garden Kitchen is an Arc Enterprises Company, meaning that not only do they provide amazing food (AND DELIVER IT TO YOUR DOOR!), but also, in doing so they provide employment for adults with developmental disabilities. (They're one of the businesses run by the nonprofit Arc of Greater New Orleans.) I've seen the garden where they grow all the food that is used to make these amazing soups, and it blows my mind that food this fresh, this nutritious, and this beautifully convenient is available in New Orleans. But wait, it gets better: their food is shockingly affordable. A half pint of, say, Moroccan Chickpea Stew feeds 2 people, and costs $4.99. The minimum order for delivery is $15, so for four pints I paid about $22.00, and it was delivered the very next day. How. Awesome. Is. That. Seriously. They deliver every Wednesday between 10am and 2pm, and orders must be placed before 4pm on Tuesday to ensure delivery. They deliver to 70001, 70005, 70115, 70118, 70119 (yay!), 70124, and 70125. Again, the minimum order for delivery is $15 (so, approximately three pints, or two quarts, blah blah math and stuff). They take credit cards, it's easy to place an order online, and you can also order in two other ways. Either pre-order for pick-up (and you can come get your soups between 8am and 4pm M-F), or if you don't want to pre-order, you can simply stop by during business hours. Walk-ins are welcome, too! So...yeah. Amazing, amazing, amazing. I'm so glad the Vintage Garden Kitchen exists. I highly recommend you give them a try. Then you, too, can write your very own rave review of this freaking awesome local business. Well done, Vintage Garden Kitchen. Well done. And THANKS!

Bring back your mason jars (I think if you bring 10 back you get a pint free) & bring your leftover grocery/walmart/target/etc bags to help them out as well. SO MANY great soups!!! Some of my favorite are the Yellow Split Pea soup, Mushroom and Asparagus, Moroccan Chickpea Stew; Rustic Vegetable Bean, Roasted Buternut Squash, Chicken & Andouille Gumbo, Sweet Roasted Pepper & Carrot, Veggie Tortilla Soup, Smothered Chicken with Rice & Greens - SO MANY GREAT SOUPS!!!! The location is a little out of the way, on Labarre south of Airline Highway across the railroad tracks, but definetly worth the trip!!!!

Unfortunately, my experience was a huge disappointment. For me, it's the little details that make a difference. The noodles, oxtail, and toppings came in a Styrofoam container, while the broth was packaged separately in the standard clear soup container. I understand this is how pho was traditionally packaged for takeout because people were usually taking it home, where they had bowls. But with so many people ordering through DoorDash to their jobs or other places, there's often no bowl available. It would be a much better experience if the noodles and toppings were packaged in a large bowl instead. They also didn't include any utensils or chopsticks. Thankfully, I keep a pair in my purse, but I shouldn't have to. The oxtails looked dry and were nowhere near as tender as I expected. The broth was the biggest letdown. It was overly salty and tasted like plain beef broth rather than a true Vietnamese pho broth. It was missing the rich, slow-simmered flavor and the aromatic spices like star anise, cinnamon, cloves, and roasted herbs that give pho its signature taste. It honestly tasted like store-bought broth instead of something made from scratch. I almost ordered the banh mi too, but decided to go with the highly recommended oxtail pho. Based on this experience, I'm glad I didn't spend even more money. Maybe I'm being a little harsh because I'm sick and was really craving a comforting bowl of pho. I also have to take some responsibility because I didn't stick with the place I normally order from. I wanted to try something new, and this one just wasn't for me. So honestly, I blame myself for taking the chance. Unfortunately, between the poor packaging, missing utensils, dry oxtail, and disappointing broth, I won't be ordering from Pho House Cafe again. The 2 stars was for portion and freshness of the topping.
