Absolutely best salad I have ordered out in a long time. This place offers a variety of fresh made to order salads, sandwiches, gyros and some bakery goods along with smoothies and a coffee bar. Outdoor seating was a nice option. Service was excellent.

Stopped by here for a light dinner. We were in the mood for some sandwiches and wraps. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki. I had to take off 1 star because it took a while (at least 20 minutes) before our food came out. Food-wise, my wrap was amazing. The chicken was juicy and the tzatziki sauce brought a lot of flavors. Also, they really piled on the mixed field greens so I got my daily serving of veggies. The pita was warm and soft. I'll definitely be back in the future.

Thank you for a great post work-out meal 2 days in a row. The salmon yesterday was cooked perfectly and today was a little bit on the dry side, but still good! Great food and good service

I had never heard of Saladelia Cafe before my visit and I always excited to try a new spot. The parking lot to the cafe was good. It's inside of a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. The inside of the restaurant is fairly big in size. There are 2 sides one near the register and then other side is like open seating. We ended up sitting near the back. They also have a HUGE table for large groups which was great. I ordered the Gyro + Chips, my son had the grilled cheese sandwich + chips and my husband had the chicken sandwich + chips and everything was tasty. My son finished his entire grilled cheese so either he was hungry or it was really good. I think it was the latter. Here is why I didn't rate it a 4 or higher. When I went to get my fountain drink the sprite tab wasn't working. So, the staff member went to get the manager. He comes out and I tell him that it wasn't working, he replies with an attitude "yes! It does" and pushes the machine a little harder and the "sprite" comes out, well, when it comes out it's like yellowish almost like ginger ale. So, first he had an attitude & second it was yellowish, then he just walks off. The staff members there were all very nice and pleasant. The guy that checked me out was very knowledgeable of the menu and he answered all of my questions. Overall good restaurant & food but the manager I wasn't to impressed it. I would suggest they change out their filters.

I love Saladelia, but this location steps it UP! SO SO GOOD. You need to try the Mexican White Chocolate and the grilled cheese on pita with tomato basil soup. Phenomenal!

Yelp told me this delicious sandwich shop was just 5 minutes away, which seemed like the perfect option. It was a hot summer day and I couldn't believe how many people were sitting outside in the heat. We got the last table in the air conditioned inside, which made me happy. We placed our orders at the counter: - The Jane for me - Pine Street Pimento for my daughter and a bag of chips (salt & vinegar for me) for both! We did the smaller size sandwiches which were still quite large, but we were quite hungry and finished them off. They were so good that I even thought about coming back for lunch the next day, but knew there were plenty of delicious restaurants in the area to try. First of all, the bread is soft and has a nice bite, holds the juices of a sandwich well and was fresh. I got the Cobble Hill sandwich and the turkey was really good. This place is REALLY hard to find... it's behind the State Farm building, but there's barely any signage from the street. (Note: some photos here in Yelp seem to be from an older location.) We actually came one Saturday, but it was unexpectedly closed, but we caught them the following one, so good to call and confirm before driving over. You walk up to a door on the back, and scan a QR code to see the menu. Then knock on/ open the door and someone will come to take your order. Then you wait outside and they bring you your sandwiches. The lady who took our order was very friendly. The kitchen was rather large, so I suspect it's used for more than just this business. We ordered two turkey subs-- the East New York (which was slightly spicy) and the Dumbo. Wait time was maybe 7-10 minutes or so. Both sandwiches came nicely wrapped, and I think total cost was a little over $20. And conveniently, they take Apple Pay. These were not your Subway or Quiznos sandwiches-- these were DELICIOUS pressed sandwiches (we got them on focaccia. I personally liked the Dumbo the best-- it had a nice mix of flavors that meshed well. The East New York was solid and had a nice spiciness, but not quite as exciting overall. Would I come back? Probably, but since there's no seating, and it's a bit awkward, maybe not the first place I'd think to try, but again, the sandwiches were REALLY good. I do think it may be excellent for catering or for getting picnic sandwiches though.

They make cookies, pastries, breads (pan loaf and hand-formed ones), soups, hand pies, and sandwiches. The variety is amazing. During the holiday season, they offer larger pies and have various seasonal goods to offer. But what's also wonderful is this bakery gives back to the community in many ways. During the height of the pandemic, they offered free bagged lunch to anyone who needed one. They also were (are?) part of the pilot project for Durham's guaranteed income. It looks to me that the owners/company are concerned about being good citizens of the community and that's a great thing. These days, so many companies get bought out by private equity companies. I hope this bakery continues to be locally owned and operated! (Also, generally this bakery isn't offering the very fancy European/European-ish style pastries which is fine by me.
