I was in the area so decided to try some salad. The reviews are not very good but I must say I had a pretty spot experience. They have a large variety of options you can try. You can either build your own salad or choose one of the options they have. The service was great, everyone was very helpful in helping me decide what to add in the salad. You might be a little overwhelmed with the amount of options, so maybe take a peek at the menu before so you can have an idea of what you'd like. The place looked spotless which is a plus. They also offer limited indoor seating and some outdoor seating as well. They also have different soup and some cookies available. I would definitely come back! Kick up the healthy eating and finish the year feeling strong!

TERRIFIC SALAD! Caught her putting TOO MUCH bleu cheese on though! Caught you! ;)

New to the area, never been to a Saladworks. Walked in and was pleased with the layout of the fresh salad ingredients. They looked lush and fresh! Soo many to choose from. You can choose from about a dozen salads that they have recipes for, or you can create your own. I opted for the Buffalo chicken salad and it was fresh and tasty, there was too much bleu cheese. I like bleu cheese, but the broad behind the counter either thought I was sexy or cute or was randomly feeling generous. I kid you not when I say she put an ENTIRE CUP of bleu cheese crumbles on my salad! Yucky! Too much! Other ingredients were delish. I checked out and the clerk pitched thier "rewards" card promo and asked me if I wanted a wheat or white roll. Wow, unexpected. I opted for the wheat roll. Was craggy, and soft, with a little bit of a nice crunchhhie texture on it. Seemed like a fresh bakery roll. Not frozen. Was pleased ! Perfecf compliment to try to balance out all the bleu cheese! ;) The resturant was clean and bright and I will be back. I took off 2 stars for TOO MUCH BLEU CHEESE (oh PU ! ) and for the PRICE! Are you serious? Was the cashier serious when the total came to over 10 bucks for a salad, roll and diet coke. Oh no thank you. Great experience -- PRICE IS UNREASONABLE AND IRRATIONAL!! I will be back but maybe next month. I would recommend this place to a friend. It as terrific. Just be sure to tell the broad behind the counter to go soft on the BLEU CHEESE, BITCH! ;)

Piece of sharp plastic in my salad I bought here today.

Salad was good but found a sharp piece of plastic in my salad. Poor quality control as it looks like it was cut off the corner of a piece of packaging. They need to do better.

    COB DELICIOUS SALAD :p

Incredible speakers like journalist Will Potter, author Victoria Moran, and the owner of Vegan Treats. More animal rescue/advocacy groups were here this time. You had to fight to be close to the large Vegan Treats tent. We missed the Cinnamon Snail truck with their tender maple bourbon donuts but were charmed by the Pizza Wagon: the best one had cauliflower puree, roasted potatoes, rosemary, and onion, OMG. We will plan better next year to get in on more cooking demonstrations -- you can get full with the samples they hand out. This festival is free, and oh the parade of gorgeous dogs. I paid to get in the pen with piglets of Ross Mill Farm and enjoyed every second of it, even being nibbled because I had just had pizza in my hand. Saw friends from several counties. Just a wonderful friendly vibe. We left with takeout and wish it had gone on longer, Another good thing is that vendors actually stay until the end and don't pack up early. I see this expanding. The world is changing for the good, although it can be hard to see sometimes with so much violence and war.

Thank goodness because we were starving, having not eaten in preparation for a day of VegFest binging. We split an apple turnover and a small spinach pie from the Snail while we waited for our two tempeh sandwiches. The sandwiches came out quickly and we split the Thai tempeh (very spicy but very tasty) and the kale and mustard tempeh (very tasty as well). Both were served on very good millet bread. I would have prefered a little more variety, maybe one on a baguette or something, but overall I was incredibly satisfied. Not too full for more food though! I also noshed on a a bite of a pretzel-shaped sweet and salty doughnut from Vegan Treats, who had an absolutely wonderful spread of desserts. The doughnut was just ok, I took home two lemon bars that were out of this world good. Finally, I split a vegan cheesesteak empenada with my husband; it was pretty bland. However, it was great to have so many options to try all in one place. I also purchased two items of clothing: one festival T-shirt in a gorgeous periwinkle color. The T had a cool saying on the front and a pretty logo on the back, but it's just a boring straight T, I would've prefered a fancy organic washed out cotton. I may have to alter it when I get home, turn it into a boat neck or something like the refashionista (look her up!) Also purchased an absolutely gorgeous open neck turquoise, soft as butter sweatshirt that had a elephant herbivore logo. I'm in love with this item from Grape Cat. Luckily they accepted Visa because I was running out of cash fast at this fest!

Came here with my mom, as part of our tradition to check out restaurants she's not tried in Bethlehem (I grew up here, she still lives here and I am now in Philly). We each began with one of their Thai coconut soups: me, the 3 mushroom and her the chicken-coconut. This was so heavenly and light and scrumptious. The mushrooms were unusual and not typical of any I've tried. They had great texture and blended beautifully with the lemongrass and other traditional Thai aromatics. Mom got shrimp/crabmeat fried rice and absolutely loved it. I got the vegetarian Thai-Basil pad Thai and it was cooked to perfection! Lovely rice cellophane noodles, broccoli, sprouts, peppers and a phenomenal spicy basil infused sauce - not too heavy either. Service was warm and expedient. I would absolutely return !

But the Red Dot seems to nail every single dish. We started with the multigrain vegan waffle with fresh fruit and loved it! So clean and flavorful, with perfectly ripe fruit. I do think the fruit should have been included, because it would have been a bit plain without it. Next, we had the ancient grains kitchari which was incredible. We loved all the fresh vegetables perfectly cooked, adding a variety of textures and flavors. It is offered as mild, medium, or hot; we got hot, which was great but not overly spicy, and we might request extra spicy next time. Lastly, we got the breakfast paratha wrap filled with their incredible tofu scramble. We were so impressed by how non-greasy it was (both the paratha and the scramble). We are always looking for food that isn't overly salty or oily, which is hard to find, but the Red Dot managed to do everything perfectly. Also major props to their masala chai, made super fresh with your choice of milk. The soy milk was creamy and pleasantly sweet and it didn't even require adding sugar. So rare to find vegan masala chai. The food takes fairly long to come out, but we felt it was worth it because of how delicious everything was; we also appreciated the generous portions. I think we have found one of our new favorite restaurants!
