This is quick service. You order your custom salad or açaí bowl. To be honest... I felt overwhelmed ordering like I just wanted a simple menu. I had no idea they combined two franchises in one. It makes ordering complicated. Funny thing is I custom ordered my kids sandwiches... and guess what, they came to the table all wrong. The server told me the turkey sandwich only comes this way and it cannot be customized. Well I ordered it custom and they didn't say a thing to me then. In the end, they made it right. For the price point for a salad, I thought I'd be getting something more than iceberg lettuce. It should be green leaf or romaine or something actually green and nutritious. Disappointed. Meh and $$$$$$$ First off I have to give credit for hiring local youth to work, that is a nice gesture. However, the food quality and price is brutal. Skip this place. $40 for a pre mix sandwich, a lettuce salad, and a 12 oz smoothie. It's a more expensive far less quality Toastique essentially. I get they chose to do business in LWR where rent is high but $40 for a $15 quality is unreal. Pros- hiring young adults , and they were all giving out effort. I don't like posting negative reviews, but for the price point of the meal my partner and I had here I feel like it should be brought up. We ordered an avocado Cobb salad, a turkey bacon ranch sandwich, and a build your own smoothie bowl with the pitaya base (the total was $45 after leaving a 20% tip). The iceburg lettuce that was used for the salad was brown and limp. The toppings were fine and I think the salad would have been acceptable if the iceburg was actually fresh. The smoothie bowl was pretty mediocre. There was a fair portion of toppings, but the pitaya base just tasted like water. There's a 3Natives no more than a 2-3 minute drive away, so I would definitely opt for that when wanting a smoothie bowl. The sandwich was the most disappointing aspect of the meal. It was made very sloppily and the portion of meat and vegetables on it was very stingy. There was literally 3 cubes of turkey on the sandwich, so it was mostly bread. I'm not knocking points off for service--the staff was friendly, but you could definitely tell they were not provided enough training. The ordering process was was extremely unorganized. We were excited for the possibility of another healthier offering in Lakewood Ranch, but we will not be returning. You are much better off going to SoFresh, 3Natives, or even Panera (all within a 3 minute drive away) for a similar meal that is significantly higher quality. read more

Terrible salad. Romaine was rotten, the typical options available were empty and none available. The dressings offered were also out and none were available. Staff was confused and untrained. Never was offered the fresh roll so I just assumed they didn't have those either. This was the second day open and no manager in site to greet the guests or manage the disaster going on. So disappointed that I'm not leaving a 5 star review right now. I have been waiting for this place to open for quite sometime now. They pushed back their grand opening date multiple times, which I understand things happen, but you'd think with the delays they'd use that time to ensure they were ready for opening weekend by stocking up ingredients and training the staff. One of their bases for their bowls is oatmeal and they said they didn't have any oatmeal and could try making it but wasn't sure how long it would take....it's OATMEAL! I then ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and the dressing on it is blue cheese and they said they were out of blue cheese dressing. Mind you Publix is right next door. Maybe the manager should have 1 of the 15 kids working behind the counter run to Publix and get oatmeal and blue cheese dressing?! My sandwich did not come with any toppings. No lettuce, no tomato, nothing. It was less impressive. They gave me a bag of chips with it and I asked if I could swap out the flavor of the chips and they said it would be an up-charge....INSANE! We eat at 3native often and they ALWAYS let me swap out my chips for whatever flavor I want with no additional charge. My husband got an açaí bowl and it was literally like soup...he could hardly eat it. If all this wasn't bad enough the prices are outrageous. We will be sticking to 3native for much better quality of food and for a better price point. LWR only has so many healthy options available so was very excited about this place and are very disappointed in our experience. read more

So disappointed. We loved the food here but will not return due to the poor staff and service. There were approximately five young people working none of which appeared to be a manager. It took 35 minutes for our food to be prepped while three other pairs of customers went around us with their food made more quickly from start to finish. The staff is unorganized and it was obvious the gentleman making our food was new and not getting any assistance from his coworkers. The girls were chatting, laughing and could care less that we were standing there for 30 minutes. No apologies given and my son told them to forget his sandwich as it would've been another 10 minutes to have that made. Decided to wait a while to try this new Saladworks since it just opened. Went in yesterday at 2pm and there was no customers on line. 3 girls stood behind the counter near the register busy chatting and did not greet or acknowledge me at all. I stood there waiting for someone to walk down to take my order. Nobody moved or wanted to work. Finally a girl came from the back of the store. Customer service is severely lacking. I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad. The salad components were very fresh. The fried noodles were the same as canned Chinese noodles. The fried chicken pieces were uneditable. They were cold hard clumps of dough?, or breading, I'm not sure. There was a dime quantity of chicken in the middle. Just terrible. read more

I ordered an Asian chicken salad and an açaí bowl and they were delivered by door dash . the salad and açaí bowl looked beautifully done and the salad and the açaí bowl were both fresh and delicious!! I will order it again and again!! I would like to try all of the other salads and I will soon. what a delicious meal. BTW, the salad can feed two ppl! huge portions!
