I ordered pick up from this Cava location at 7pm on a Friday night. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was ample parking, including 2 dedicated spots to picking up food from Cava! I received text updates, so I knew my order was ready and went in to retrieve it. The restaurant was pretty empty and my food was placed in a bag on the pick-up shelf, so I wouldn't have to wait in the line, even though it was short - super convenient! It wasn't until I got home that I noticed that I didn't recieve the pita chips I ordered, even though it was listed on my bag. The food itself was delish. Fresh flavours and the lamb was very juicy.

I called ahead specifically to place an order and make things easier, but the employee who answered the phone immediately told me to "order it online." I was driving at the time, so that wasn't an option. She then rushed me through the order and sounded like she couldn't wait to get me off the phone. When I asked when the order would be ready, she simply said, "Not very long." No actual time. Nothing useful. I asked if she needed my name for the order, and she said, "We'll figure it out when you get here." I also asked if I could provide payment information over the phone and was told, "Pay it when you get here." Since someone else was picking up the food for me, this created a completely unnecessary inconvenience. The entire reason I called ahead was to place the order, know when it would be ready, and have someone pick it up for me without having to stand around waiting. And then it got even worse. The person picking up my food arrived approximately 45 minutes after I placed the order and was told, "WE DON'T HAVE YOUR ORDER!!!" Are you kidding me? So I called ahead, placed the order, was given virtually no useful information, couldn't pay in advance, she wouldn't take my name for the order, and then 45 minutes later the person I sent to pick it up was told they didn't even have the order. That is an unbelievable failure in basic customer service and order management. At this point, I have to seriously question whether the employee even properly entered the order in the first place. If your system doesn't provide customers with a pickup time, doesn't allow payment over the phone, doesn't take a name for the order, and then can't even locate the order when someone arrives to pick it up, what exactly is the point of calling ahead? The employee's attitude from the very beginning made it seem like my business was an inconvenience. Unfortunately, the experience proved that impression was justified. Management needs to seriously address the way customers are being treated. Good food doesn't make up for terrible service, poor communication, and an order that apparently disappears into thin air. If this employee doesn't want to deal with customers, perhaps she should be moved to a position where she doesn't have to or just be fired! Because based on this experience, she certainly doesn't seem interested in helping them. I will not be calling ahead again, and based on this experience, it's unlikely that I will give this amateur hour show another penny of my money! Shameful!

We got the chicken lo mein, sesame beef, and crab rangoons -- the food was ready for pickup right on time, but still fresh & hot by the time we opened it at home. Some of my favorite items are the crab rangoon, hot and sour soup, orange chicken, and Mongolian beef. You can order on the website for a $1 service charge (what I typically do) or call in orders. My food is always hot and ready when I arrive at the estimated time even when they are crowded. The staff is always friendly and attentive even when they are busy. The more level headed bartender took a step back and said they would get a manager over to better explain the price. Keep in mind he had already paid his bill, was just presenting a question the amount of push back was unnecessary (loud for no reason.) So now the the "manager King" came in already on the defense not fully listening to the customer his response was for the customer to go on and leave a review about the high prices he has no control he was just there trying to serve customers, this was the most condescending response possible. Once the customer walks off the peanut gallery enters the conversation with the manager discussing the conversation further in my opinion it would have been professional for the manager to walk away once the conversation ended with the customer there was no need for him to try to explain his stance the customers listening in.
