We had a nice dinner here! My husband had been having some stomach problems and we were looking for something light and easy on the tummy. This turned out to be just the place. We started with the Green Chile Queso. We really enjoyed it and were pleasantly surprised at how it tasted for being vegetarian. My husband got the "Forbidden" Rice bowl, and I got a build your own with shrimp, cauliflower risotto, and broccoli. Our entrees were tasty, thoughtfully made and curated, and light like we were hoping for. I did leave hungry though, but if you have the appetite of a normal person you'll be fine. I've been here twice now and both times the experience was top tier and the food matched the positive vibe. I'm usually not a "health food" guy but this place proves you can provide healthy food and not compromise the taste. The chicken enchiladas were great. Very flavorful and a nice cross between a Mexican dish and a healthy option. The forbidden rice looked equally great on my wife's plate. I'd order that with a nice piece of salmon. Went for lunch on Monday and I was pleased with the all around experience. We ordered a poke bowl, chicken enchilada bowl, and had the unsweetened teas. The poke was spicy and fresh with no unwanted flavors, the enchiladas were really flavorful and tender with some nice crunch from the cabbage, and the unsweetened tea was on point. The service was good, meal came out relatively quick and the counter person gave good suggestions. The ambiance is very good. The restaurant is clean, and has refreshing decor. Delicious!! If you've never heard of it tried Flower Child I highly recommend it. This is the one and only location in FL so we are very lucky here in LWR. I'm a huge fan of fast clean healthy eating and this place is a great example. They have salads, wraps, bowls, or build your own entrees. All super fresh good quality options with many dietary restriction accommodations. We got the enchilada bowl and the chicken yakisoba noodles, along with a side of their amazing gluten free mac and cheese. Everything was fantastic! My wife also got one of their homemade lemonades. 3 1/2 stars. Four of us dined here for lunch. You order at the counter & they bring it out to you. You have to get your own utensils, etc. Some of the food was good, some wasn't. The chicken noodle dish looked fantastic & my friend enjoyed it. I had the chopped veggie salad & really liked it. My other friend got a wrap & did not care for the actual wrap but enjoyed the inside of it along with the salad that came with it. My other friend got the avocado caesar & it was very heavily dressed & she didn't eat much of it. I noticed that they take a very long time to clear the dishes from the tables. We liked sitting in the shade outside but I guess with love bug season, we should have sat inside! I'd probably give it another try! read more

You can add your protein whether it is tofu, beef, chicken, pork or shrimp. I had the Peruvian Beef and my bestie added tofu to his Mother Earth Bowl. We rated them both all 5*. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and the restaurant was clean. Welcome the First Florida Location of Flower Child and I look forward to seeing more. They have locations in AZ, CA, CO, FA, IN, TX just to name a few. There is more! This is fast casual and you either order online or order with them and they bring your food to you. Dining is inside and outside. Decor is stand out in detail and eye catching on every angle. I ordered the forbidden rice while my husband had the chicken yakisoba. I loved my dish and chose to add shrimp. I had heard from others the food is too salty here but that wasn't my experience the first time I ate here, but tonight our dinners were so salty they were inedible. We were very disappointed but the brownie was delicious. I've eaten at the one in Scottsdale many times but never found it salty. Unfortunately my husband won't return here sadly. read more

So this is my first time at flower Child and overall it was a pretty good experience. The steakhouse salad was really good. I just received super well-done steak when they said that they serve it at the temperature of medium so I really didn't care for that. The queso was extremely good. And their lemon olive oil cake was very delicious. I will return as the workers were sweet and food was healthy. We were heading home after an outing today and a wrap/salad sounded good. This was our first time at Flower Child. My wife had the Flying Avocado Wrap and I had the Chopped Vegetable Salad. I was impressed by the freshness and taste of the ginger miso vinaigrette. There was a varied collection of vegetables in the salad and it was tasty and crunchy. The wrap came with a small salad and it was big enough to take half home for lunch. The wrap was open-ended which made it hard for her to eat without spillage. The inside is beautiful and all the servers were very nice. All the food we tried used an unusual combination of seasonings and ingredients, which is awesome, but I didn't really love any of it. We tried the tuna bowl, enchiladas, bang bang cauliflower, chili glazed sweet potato and sesame noodles. The enchiladas were the best thing but the whole bowl is one texture (soft). It would have benefitted from some crispy chip bits sprinkled on top. It's possible we just didn't order the right things so if friends asked us to go there we'd try it again. read more

In a sea of Taco Hells and overly processed food(dead food) it feels awesome to have a place with healthy options. This place has been opened since May and a wonderful addition to the area. Last time I was there people stood behind the counter like their job was to hang out and talk to each other. I will ONLY eat in the restaurant...their takeout is BADLY put together and this is not my first experience with it...there will NOT be another. I ordered two salads and roasted veggies. The veggies were delicious but once again as a to-go the salads were TERRIBLE. The steakhouse wedge is a HUGE pile of iceberg with so little other things and even with a double dressing it barely covered the pile of lettuce that was awfully expensive for the pile of iceberg...They fill ramakins half way...even two didn't touch the salad and the chopped Veggie salad. We ended up combining the two and using dressing from the fridge. $40 for this and SO NOT WORTH IT...I will not be back...I tried again but there are better salads in so many places at a better value!!! read more
