Food was pretty good, only 3 tables to sit at inside so it's mostly takeout. Everyone seemed to be friendly and called the numbers out when your order was ready. My only complaint is that when ordering online, they don't actually make your order until you get there. So instead of being able to order online and pickup when it's ready, you have to order, go to the restaurant and pay for the order and wait 40+ more minutes to get your order. From online order to pickup it was over an hour. This was my first experience with them so I will know what to expect next time. read more

Just tried this place out. I ordered take out. We got shrimp and vegetables, chicken and broccoli, sesame balls and the chicken pad Thai. First of all, the staff is super friendly and nice. The sesame balls are small and tasty. The pad Thai is mild spicy but it is a different kind of pad Thai then I was used to, it doesn't have a heavy peanut sauce but I does have crushed peanuts on top. Just to note about the shrimp and vegetables, it doesn't have a lot of shrimp on it, so if you like a lot of shrimp you can actually order more shrimp added to the dish. :) I will definitely try more dishes in the future. This was my 2nd visit. The Pupu platter is great, enough for two. Tempura shrimp, Egg Roll, Teriyaki beef skewer, Spare ribs, Crab Wonton and Chicken wings! Red Curry Shrimp was exceptional - The best take out so far! The Wonton Soup is one of the best I've ever had! Dumplings are not doughy or like lead weights. Cashew Chicken was very good! This is my third time ordering from this place and it hits the spot everytime! All the ingredients are FRESH, you can just tell once you take a bite! Crab Rangoon has the right amount of sweetness, cheese and crunchiness. Beef Thai basil is hands down my favorite, beef is so tender that you could have told me it was filet. So I'm originally from PA. We had a Chinese restaurant chain that had fantastic food. So far in Florida we haven't found anything fantastic. Yan Kitchen is pretty close. In the late afternoon I stopped in for lunch takeout. Only a 10 minute wait. Not the kind of place to dine inside. They only have 3 tables. I ordered the Krab Rangoons. Those little fried pockets of deliciousness were amazing. The Wonton Soup tasted a little like the plastic container, but once we stirred it up & added some salt, we were happy with the taste. The Egg Roll was crispy on the outside and had wonderful flavor. I would love to see more filling inside. I ordered the lunch special of Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. The container was filled with the shrimp with lobster sauce & the fried rice. There were 4 nice size shrimps in the sauce. The shrimp tasted delicious but one end of each piece was mushy. The Lobster sauce was perfection. Not gummy and not watery. The Shrimp with Lobster Sauce was a hit. I also ordered the lunch special of General Tso's Chicken. The container was heavy as it was filled with the chicken and the fried rice. Now isn't this supposed to be spicy? There was no heat to the sauce. This was disappointing as we expected some spice. The meal was good and flavorful, but lacked that punch. The sauce was more of a sweet & sour flavor. Both platters come with Fried Rice. The Fried Rice was bland and had no flavor. It looked like white rice with a tiny bit of brown sauce added to made it looked fried. The rice did have a plentiful amount of peas, pork, onion & carrots. We added some Soy Sauce and butter to the rice to give it some flavor but It just didn't help. We'll never get their Fried Rice again. Overall we're going to avoid what we don't like of theirs & try some other dishes. read more

I went there yesterday and I got the house fried rice and I paid extra for jumbo shrimp and an egg. The jumbo shrimp add-on was $3.50 and they literally put one extra jumbo shrimp in there. The rest were tiny ones which normally come with the house fried rice. Are you kidding me??? $3.50 extra for one shrimp, that's ridiculous. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging that much more for just one piece of shrimp. read more

Our service was very good and the place was busy so we were impressed by the timely manner in which our food came out. The food on the other hand was nothing special. We ordered online and it did take 75 minutes but it was well worth it. They just opened up so they're going to be super busy for a while. The food was fresh and delicious and large portions; enough that we could have lunch and dinner. We had chicken and broccoli Singapore style mei fun and chicken lo mein. The mei fun had skinny rice noodles with a touch of yellow curry and it was delicious. We can't wait to try their other options like Thai food and chicken wings. This place deserves a 5 star, owners are super nice. The place is also very clean and well maintained and also the bathroom is super clean. My 3rd time coming here and never lets me down the amount of servings you get is absolutely perfect. We've lived in Parrish for about 2 years now, always wanted *good* Chinese in the area. After so many misses over the last two years we had low hopes going into this tonight, but very happy to say we were VERY surprised. Ordered kung pao, lo mein, moo shoo pork, spring rolls, dumplings, & chicken lo mein. All the food was delicious. Loved the kung pao was actually in cubed chicken vs the large chicken slices served in other restaurants. Ordered the food for pickup (would love delivery in the future if able). Because they are new, it was VERY BUSY. I was told about a 30 minute wait. I left and came back- THE FOOD WAS TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT! The shrimp egg foo young, spring rolls and COCONUT CHICKEN were a 10 out of 6! I'll wait as long as I have to for their delicious food. We have eaten at this restaurant twice so far and their food is very well prepare.. Hats off to the chef! The first time our food was done in 15-20mins and was great. The second time on a Saturday around 7pm they were sooo busy the place was packed. I end up having to wait a bit but if you order online it tells you after 4pm it could be up to an hour wait. I feel that having to wait means my food is being cooked fresh and as long as the quality is good it is worth the wait. I've been a fan since it opened and raved about how good it was. But it seems like the cooks who opened it are not the same. The fried rice was so good and now it's just ok. The takeout lunch container is smaller now. But today I ordered the Thai red curry and wrote on the online order not spicy even though there's no spicy symbol I just wanted to make sure. It was really spicy. I would have addressed this with the restaurant but there's no where in their website to contact them. My order # is 20251214123755636. A long com Yan Kitchen this Chinese food. This restaurant is by far the best restaurant in the area not just Chinese food. The food is phenomenal. I like the pan fried dumplings and they're dipping sauce is amazing my favorite meals along with the pan fried dumpling are compound whether it be chicken, pork or seafood any of them phenomenal. I don't know why they can be so good and none of the other Chinese restaurants in the area compare it's a takeout restaurant place. They're on time. The people are wonderful. The lines many times are out the door because it's so good if you haven't tried it yet you don't know what you're missing. It's in Parrish. I live in Sun City Center. It is so worth the drive or delivery try it. You are missing out. I never give a rave review like this, but this one is so well deserved just this week. I've eaten there twice I've known about the place for about three weeks and I think I've eaten there eight times and I will continue to go there. everyone that I brought there are told about the place has the same words that I have as recently in South Shore Hospital for a week or so, and the nurses were trying it also because I was bringing it in for them. First order was decent but a long wait. Second order last night was also a long wait but two out of the three entree dishes we ordered were just disappointing. My daughter's bourbon chicken was in some sort of tomato-based sauce, almost like a marinara sauce. She ate two bites and said something was off so I tried it and it was not bourbon chicken at all. I ordered the chicken with green beans. Something was off about the sauce on that chicken too, pretty bland. They are very popular/busy but I think because of that, their recipes and preparation is off. I am new to the area and have been craving Chinese food since New Year's Eve. The line was out the door on Dec. 31, so we decided to order takeout-out at Yan's a week later. I was not disappointed. The counter was full of orders and sauces, utensils, napkins and Fortune Cookies were available on a "Help-Yourself" basis.
