I probably eat at Salata once a week for lunch, and before you think I'm crazy, I work at Ally so it's the easiest option for me without venturing too far from my office. I try to go before 12 or after 1 since 12-1 seems to be the busiest hour of the day. Aside from all that, Salata is THE BEST. So many other salad spots charge you when you go over an amount of toppings, and I love love love the build your own salad concept. I don't eat meat, and so my salad only has vegetables. Once in awhile, I will eat the cost of adding an avocado (+$1.50), but most of the time, I really don't need it. I haven't tried any of their iced teas or lemonade but they all look delicious. My order always comes out to ~$14 (regular size), but I have noticed a few times that I'm not able to finish a regular size salad. I will be getting a small salad going forward which is only ~$10. Sounds like a steal to me! read more

I so wish we had one of these back in OH, I think about this place all the time. It's literally, a salad chipotle. I love salads and wraps. When you're able to tailor food to your liking, you can't complain whether it's been made bad, because you made it just how you like it. The service was super friendly and they all moved with a sense of urgency. There was outside seating so we took full advantage of that on the nice, warm, sunny day. read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars, this place is amazing! There are many bases to choose from - mixed greens, spinach, kale, arugula to name a few. But when you get to the toppings - I felt like they'd never end! Everything was so fresh, yummy and seasoned well. The staff was amazing and once you get to the end of the line - they had the most amazing oatmeal raisin toffee cookie I have ever tasted! I can't wait to go back. This is a good spot for making salads "chipotle" style, meaning you go down a line and add on toppings as you go. You can get a giant salad or opt for a lighter one depending on your mood. Their proteins are pretty good (falafel is a tad dry but you can't tell once the dressing is on). All in all, it's a good spot for a "healthy" lunch (depending what goes in your salad) and you'll definitely be satiated with whatever you decide to get. read more

This is your standard chain salad spot. The quality of the salad that I got was good with fresh ingredients. I did not receive the croissant with my order, despite it being listed on the receipt. I agree with other reviews and wish they had more pre-created menu salads. There's lots of options, but only 4 or so standard bowls to choose from. read more

I love Salata! My favorite salad restaurant in Atlanta and x500 better than Chopt or others BUT most salad restaurants close at 8 or 10PM. This Salata closes as early as 4 or 5PM! It's really frustrating and I would love to enjoy a salad after work hours, especially since I can't get away from my desk. Hope they consider extending hours to dinner. read more

Watch out!! Make sure your avocado is peeled before they drop it in the salad. Had to come back up to the store on my lunch hour because there was a minor employee unable to use a knife to cut items that should be cut. Well that's the excuse given. read more

I am ALWAYS impressed when I eat here. I try to change up my salads each time and I am never disappointed. Today, I added crab meat to my salad and OMG, I dont know where this crab meat came from, but it was heavenly! It may be a challenge going forward to change up my salad. I used to enjoy this place but after the lunch crowd they are not concerned with replenishing the toppings and croissants. If stuff runs out after lunch they seem to not care at all. I guess eating salad for dinner is not advised at Salata. Don't waste your time or money there unless you want to go during the lunch crowd. Also, the online ordering does not always mirror the actual toppings in the restaurant. read more

Love Salata! The veggies/fruit are always super fresh, protein is the highest quality I have seen at salad restaurants around town, and the dressings are super tasty and homemade. There are soup options, ranging from turkey chile with beans to lobster bisque. The salad options are impressive and my friend made his own salad and was thrilled with it. I enjoyed a delicious sandwich made on fresh bread. The portions are exceptional. Plan to leave needing a nap. Seating can be a bit tricky as the place is very popular, but there is outdoor seating available which will be nice certain times of the year prices are fair for the portions. Considering how busy they were I was surprised at how kind the service was. It's a fun place to eat.

During my most recent visit, I spent nearly an hour watching a staff member greet and check on every table in my section except mine. She made eye contact with me several times but never acknowledged me or asked if I needed anything. Being completely overlooked while everyone around me received attentive service was frustrating and made me feel unwelcome. I brought my concerns to the manager, hoping the issue would be taken seriously. Instead, I felt that excuses were made for the staff member's behavior rather than acknowledging my experience. That response left me with the impression that this type of service is acceptable and that the issue is unlikely to be addressed. That's disappointing because the food and atmosphere are genuinely enjoyable, but good service should be part of the overall experience as well.
