It's always a top choice to choose from whenever I have options because i know it will never let me down! The ambiance is very much outside patio dining but inside it's also decorated very well with greenery and vibrant colors!

During my most recent visit, I spent nearly an hour watching a staff member greet and check on every table in my section except mine. She made eye contact with me several times but never acknowledged me or asked if I needed anything. Being completely overlooked while everyone around me received attentive service was frustrating and made me feel unwelcome. I brought my concerns to the manager, hoping the issue would be taken seriously. Instead, I felt that excuses were made for the staff member's behavior rather than acknowledging my experience. That response left me with the impression that this type of service is acceptable and that the issue is unlikely to be addressed. That's disappointing because the food and atmosphere are genuinely enjoyable, but good service should be part of the overall experience as well.

My girlfriend and I stopped by Salata in South End on the way out of town for a birthday Airbnb…read moretrip and thought the place looked great inside. The space is bright, clean, and feels like a nice addition to the neighborhood. The biggest downside was the parking situation which is obviously more of a South End issue than a Salata issue, but it definitely made the quick stop feel less convenient than we expected. The ordering flow was also a little awkward... after building your order you end up waiting at the register while the food is assembled, which slowed things down more than it needed to. Food-wise, my wrap ended up being really good but there wasn't an option for a plain wrap, so I went with the cucumber wrap instead of whole wheat and it actually worked out great. Overall, it was a good meal, but if I'm choosing between salad spots in Charlotte I'd probably lean toward Chopt most of the time.

I had a great lunch at this Salata location the other day. I didn't even realize this was here. I walked in and no one was inside so I was able to order right away. I had a spinach salad with lots of yummy fresh toppings and the spice chipotle lime chicken. It looked as good as it tasted. The pesto chicken looked great too, but I wanted a little heat. I love their options and that you get the cute lil croissant with the salad. I had the ginger lime vinaigrette and REALLY enjoyed this salad.

Came to CAVA for the first time ever yesterday…read more What surprised me first is that their menu boards were printed soooo tiny that it wasn't until it was my turn in line that I was even able to read what their offerings were. And with a growing line of people behind me, I felt pressured to make a quick, game time decision. I opted for a BYO bowl but was disappointed that they were out of things I really wanted to get like the black lentils and grilled steak. Which I thought was odd for 7PM on a Tuesday. The cashiers were nice enough to give me a sample of their braised lamb which was everything I wanted: tender, a little salty, downright sinful. I also opted to get their seasonal beverage: the Pineapple-Apple beverage and it was freaking delicious. Sweet without being too sweet, just the way I like it. All-n-all, I enjoyed my meal, but with so many competitors like Yafo, Ilios, Zoe's, Sabor, Chipotle, I'm not so sure that CAVA is unique enough to keep me coming back more often without an incentive. Still a really good choice for a quick, fresh, Mediterranean meal tho.

I enjoyed my chicken and rice bowl I was able to add a few extras that I enjoyed. I had a side order of pita chips were good a bit too salted for my liking but were tasty. They have a variety of drink options and I loved the cucumber, lime and mint drink! It was delicious! I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

It can be hard to find healthy food that tastes good. This is probably one of the reasons that acai…read morebowls are so popular. I don't usually consider them for meals but every now and then when I am craving something sweet they hit the spot! Vitality Bowls is a chain originating out west that now has a home in Southend Charlotte at the Railyard development. Since my office is nearby, some coworkers and I decided to order ahead and walk over to enjoy our bowls. In addition to açaí bowls they offer sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, and other types of bowl/salads. The server was friendly and our food was ready and packaged to go when we arrived. I decided to go with the Nutty Bowl. No I admit I am somewhat of a novice when it comes to açaí bowls, but in the past when I get them, they usually come with a lot of toppings and drizzle that not only adds to the flavors and presentation, but makes the bowl more filling and dense. The bowl I received was perfectly tasty, it just felt a little bit underwhelming and underdone. It was light on the toppings and seemed like it was tossed together quickly. Now the simple explanation could be that since we made a larger order ahead of time the person making them may have been under pressure to finish each one faster before moving on to the next. I certainly want to go back by myself and order in the store to see how the bowl compares. I really did enjoy the blend they used for the base of the bowl and I can tell it was made using fresh ingredients. For what it's worth my coworkers all enjoyed their sandwiches as well. I will have to give it another shot

Very casual atmosphere with first come first served seating. Got the Italian salad and pepperoni pizza to share with hubby. The Italian salad (4.5 stars) was filled with cold cuts -who knew. Creamy Italian sauce was a good accompaniment. Garden pizza with pepperoni:4 stars. Crispy thin crust. Cheese could be better. But I enjoyed the crust. Would totally come again. Pistachio cannoli: 3.5 stars. So small you could eat it with 1-2 bites. Tastes decent and I enjoyed the pistachios.

The specialty pizza options didn't appeal to me, so I built my own. Compared to other places, the ricotta spots were a bit small. The toppings were scattered in bunches, and not evenly distributed. So some bites had more jalapeño than others and was extremely hot. It's a thinner crust, which everyone seems to love, but the crust itself was chewy and hard. (I got it normal - not extra crispy or cooked) It had good flavors and the dill ranch is perfect for dipping.... but I will add that my friend had gotten it before and forgotten she had tried it. Which means it's not memorable....
