In its simplicity the carousel and surrounding park is a great family destination. Of course any carousel ride could always be longer.

Here we are, having my annual birthday carousel ride!

Love the Carousel! Actually, it was the deciding factor when we moved to Salem. Prior to moving to Oregon, we visited twice. We were deciding between several cities. In the end, we chose the city with the Carousel!

Great little marina carousel ride. Cheap cost to ride on hand crafted wooden animals - worth the tourist hit. Everyone was super nice and covid-safe. Also was able to see the wooden workshop with a shark ride and another horse ride being worked on - very cool to see.

Cute little place to stop and kill time! Rides are only $1.50 and Santa comes to take pictures on Nov. 23 and it's free!

My adorable peeps on the carousel.

Super cool place for kids to ride for only $1.50, parents are free. They only take cash but there is a gift shop and you can pay with a card to get tokens to ride you just have to spend $5 to use a card in the shop. They have really cute stuff for fair prices. Also the customer service in the shop and when riding the carousel was exceptional. Everyone was very kind and helpful. I recommend.

This is a nice bit of nostalgia, with a gift shop and a big room for children parties.

I ordered the Thịt Kho Tàu which was a very tasty dish with caramelized pork, egg, and special seasonings served over rice and garnished with cucumber. There is a sense of warmth and intentionality in everything they do, making every visit feel like a special occasion. The food is absolutely to die for, particularly their signature items. The Wild Pear Salad is a masterclass in balance, featuring fresh greens and the perfect hint of sweetness from the pears. However, the absolute showstopper is the Coconut Curry Butternut Squash soup. It is velvety, rich, and has just the right amount of aromatic spice to make it unforgettable. It is the kind of dish you find yourself thinking about days after you have finished it. Beyond those specific favorites, it seems like you really cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Every dish is prepared with high quality ingredients and a clear level of expertise in the kitchen. Whether you are stopping in for a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner, the quality remains top tier. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for fresh, vibrant flavors in a quaint setting.
