These guys can't even patch a tire right! I took a car there cause the front tire had a slow leak in it. They said $10 and we'll repair/patch it. Waste of time and money. The next morning the tire had 17 lbs of air in it. I've tried to come back 2 times now but with them being closed on Sunday and closing at 6 on weekdays it's useless for me. read more

This place save my evening, one of my tire keeps loosing air, at first I bring it to American tire Depot in Montebello, they said they can't fix this kind of problem. I guess the guy want to up sale me and make me to get the new tire. I hate that , so I try to bring it to Salgado, the staff here is super nice., they help me out right away. Im so glad I found this place. The price is just right and the work is even better. The only part is the customer service, they're not rude or anything like that, just as as tip stand by your car when your next they will come and help. This is where my grandfather would get his tires repaired when it was another name. This is where the city brings their vehicles to get flats repaired. This is where I go if I happen to get a flat in the area. Im not even sure if enough people realize a nail in a tire does not mean you have to replace it. The owner is always here so you don't have to worry about the workers slacking off. Basically you pull up and a worker will run to your car like some sort of grease monkey carhop and then repair your tire in about 10 minutes. They also sell new and used tires , rims, as well perform tire rotations and alignments. The owner is so cool a friend of mine needed tires to go on a vacation and all the other quotes for tires were too much money or needed to be ordered and would not be in on time for his vacation. So the owner who's truck had the same size tires gave him the tires off his truck and told him he could keep those or return them for brand new ones after the trip. So instead of rolling on 20's the owner was rolling on 16's. Thought that was a super cool thing to do for a customer. read more

Went there today just to see if they can salvage my tire that had a big nail in it. Guy that helped me pulled it off and said no damage was done. He aired up all my tires and didn't charge me a cent! Worst time shop i have gone to! Ask for them to balance my tires and the guy said it wasnt the balancing needed to be done! He told me it was the tires but the tires were brand new, second of all he charged me to balance the tires INCORRECTLY , i took my truck to balance some where else and they told me that the balancing was way off! Great place!! We purchased brand new tires from this place at a great price and they didnt charge us a disposal fee.

They do a good job, but im pretty mad that they dont open when they say they do. It says 8 am but they dont. I got to get to class and I am most likely going to be late now because they can't open on time wish they would think of their customers a little more. This is the first problem i had ever had here they are usually good, i just know now if i ever have tire problems early in the morning I will have to go elsewhere. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would just because of the owner, the staff is 5 stars of course cause they are hard working staff. I bought a used tire for a temp. They sold me a used tire with a nail in it. Didn't see it til I got home to install it. Went back asked owner to sell me another. He said the only other one was double the price, so i asked for a slight discount for the inconvenience, refused either. He just said I'm patching that tire and that's it. He preferred to lose future business over, a used tire that they probably cost them $5. Never coming back, never recommending, never getting anymore of my $. I've gone to this tire place a couple of times in the past before, usually for an emergency flat tire & my most recent visit was the same. (They've always been polite & quick) However this time was different as my tires had caps unlike other times, (recently bought as well) unfortunately I noticed the following day that the cap was missing for the tire they fixed. My assumption was they probably forgot so I went back to check however they claimed they put my cap on. Now that's where I'm iffy because I didn't go that far afterwards, I live about 7 blocks away from this place & that was my only stop that day, now it could of fallen off in the small distance I drove, but I'm still upset because that means they didn't put the cap back on correctly, meaning I lost a new cap. It's more upsetting because I've had those caps for only about 2 months now, after I had finally saved enough money (being a student & just buying 4 new tires as well) to buy them & now I'm missing one, meaning I have to drop $30 on another cap. Probably won't be going with them anymore, despite going to them for many years now & always having a positive experience. I did mention to them that if it fell then it wasn't put on correctly but they didn't even bother to apologize & for that I am leaving this review here. It's not so much the money, I can always save up.. it's the fact that this happen & there was no apology. read more

I had a flat tire which needed repair I went to a different tire shop which was closer to home but they wanted to sell me a used tire instead of fixing it. Once I to Salgado Tires as always how can we help you. I told I needed a tire fix so they check it out and fix the flat in and out and as always for a great price.
