By 0800, the gear was unloaded and the team was in full-on work mode. I do a lot of DIY jobs with crews. After a half hour, a huge worry burden was lifted off my shoulders. This has never happened to me before. I had a very large brick wall repair job. Luis and his team were a well-oiled machine. Each knew their job (all experts), and the work hummed along--busy, busy, busy. Literally no screwing around or fun time. I was unconditionally amazed and thankful. The job was completed earlier than expected, and not only were no shortcuts taken, they did more than we agreed upon. All debris was picked up and put in the trash. The area was washed down. They even covered the house with plastic sheets so there wouldn't be any concrete splashes, which I really appreciated. On pouring day, they showed up super early (around 4am), so the concrete wouldn't dry too quickly in the summer heat. That level of dedication really stood out. Our driveway is enormous and had big cracks and no drainage, and water would pool towards our house when it would rain. Additionally, any crevice the previous owner could pour concrete into he did. This is a long-winded way of saying, this was a big project. While Neighborhood Builders wasn't the cheapest quote, we wanted experts that were going to do the job right, and that is Anthony and his team. Anthony got the quote to me quick. We had a lot of companies come out and most don't even bother to send a quote. This project became a pretty epic because of issues that could not have been foreseen. Anthony and his team tackled each problem with expertise, were upfront, and were able to solve them for us. Since Anthony is a general contractor, he was able to resolve all the problems we encountered. In addition to the concrete work, they put new siding in the front. They also were able to do some electrical work and installed outdoor plugs, a light, and doorbell. The concrete walkway, porch, and driveway are beautiful and functional. This was tested when we just had that 200 year storm (in October 2021). All the drainage worked perfectly, and we had no water pooling. Our house is completely transformed. I love it so much!
