I reminded him I did not agree to do the power washing (I should have confirmed earlier), so he said he has to reschedule. After that, silence. 7/24/26 - I finally asked if he is still planning on doing the work and he said he can do it on 8/1/26. Well, today is 8/1 and I never heard back from him. So come winter time, my house flooded. It was a headache to go back and forth with them. They were pretty unprofessional - they sent a crew out for a fix without letting me know and without me signing off on anything. I had to ask them to come back until I could negotiated reimbursements/repairs with black diamond pavers. Once they did come out to install a fix, they didn't even do it properly. They did not install the drains low enough, so if I hadn't had another professional come and examine my backyard, my house would have flooded again this winter. Also, the cherry on the top was when the crew left trash in my backyard. Not only did they leave their lunch trash, but they left huge stones. And it took them a long time to remove the port-a-potty . I had to remind them to come clean it up. All in all, communication was bad, quality of the work was shoddy, and I am very frustrated and upset with Black Diamond. Please reconsider before doing business with them.

By 0800, the gear was unloaded and the team was in full-on work mode. I do a lot of DIY jobs with crews. After a half hour, a huge worry burden was lifted off my shoulders. This has never happened to me before. I had a very large brick wall repair job. Luis and his team were a well-oiled machine. Each knew their job (all experts), and the work hummed along--busy, busy, busy. Literally no screwing around or fun time. I was unconditionally amazed and thankful. The job was completed earlier than expected, and not only were no shortcuts taken, they did more than we agreed upon. All debris was picked up and put in the trash. The area was washed down. The cleanup job was impeccable. You would have never known they were there, except for the beautiful work they left behind. Lastly, I took five bids. This company was not the cheapest, but it was far from the most expensive. I cash-tipped each worker for a job well done--impeccable. I was so impressed with Medina's Masonry that I'm having the team redo my driveway next weekend. Seriously, do not look elsewhere. For real. Use them and thank me later.
