This place is a scam, I took my car some months ago to get an alignment and they "finished it" but turns out they didn't even do anything, here I am months later with terrible tire wear that caused my tire to blow out on the freeway leaving me stranded for an hour. They claim that my model of car you can't do the alignment but instead of telling me "hey sorry we can't" they just said all done and took my money. read more

I got new tires here for my 2016 Kia Sorento. My son in law suggested Gener tire. I don't drive a lot of miles so I was looking for a less expensive tire. I looked on the internet for options and found Ironman tires, they come in several models and have very good reviews. I printed out 5 Ironman tire options for my SUV and checked out prices at several tire shops. I stopped by Gener tire because they had the best price and were close to my location. I talked to Palemon about which model would be best for me. He took the time to go over my 5 Ironman tire options, I actually learned a lot about tires from him. So I take in my SUV for a flat tire fix - no problem, cordial reception, "large screw" found, a patch was placed. $15, very reasonable. No receipt. Next few days tire slowly goes flat. I return expecting to hear patch didn't take, some vague apology. But no, "maybe the wheel/tire seal is broken", the manager tests for same, not the problem. He says, "there is another screw here" I feel and look, there is no screw. Tire "needs a plug". Twenty minutes later, tire fixed, a patch was placed, no screw demonstrated, this time or last time. Attitude change noted, "here's your car", no eye contact (....get the hell out), $15 paid, again. No receipt. Arrogant, unapologetic, crappy customer service. Shady staff. I recently moved to Whittier, and needed my tires changed quickly after noticing the tread on my Hyundai Accent 2013 has been balding. I called them the morning of, and they didn't have the tires in stock, but said they could source them within an hour. They quoted me $100 per tire to replace for a mid grade tire. I found the tires online for $75 per tire, so it was ~$25 per tire in labor which I found very reasonable. I was in and out within an hour having my alignment fixed and tires replaced. I am very glad in the quality of the tires and their work, as they easily could have sourced a lower quality tire without my knowledge for a larger profit, but kept the consumer in mind. Very glad to find a trustworthy tire shop in my new hometown. read more

Manager and owner Palamon greeted me properly my very first time here. I came in thinking I just needed a tire alignment, but was advised to get all new four tires. He gave me a great price, never once felt being taken "advantage" of. They got my tires installed, balanced and aligned. He said to bring it back every oil change for complementary alignment and balance since I purchased tires there. I've got some old school SA3R super advan wheels I've been struggle to find a place capable to balance them with the right machine/adapter. We went to 5 places and denied 5x from previous inquiries. We found out about this place through a friend and our experience with Paloman was honorable and the outcome was fantastic. Can here to get tires mounted and balanced after getting new ones on Amazon... got a good price considering me and my gf called 5 different spots and got higher quotes. Will be coming back here for future business it's also just a few blocks away from my house with makes it all the more better. The owner was super nice, well also having my car up on the lift I did notice I needed new brake pads and rotors got a far price from the owner right then and there will be taking the car to get the brakes done there. read more

I brought in a wheel and tire to have it replaced. I was listening to them install the tire while in the office and can hear that they were having some trouble. I have 10 years as a mechanic and about 3 of those working at a tire shop so I'm very familiar with tire machines . When I got the wheel back I noticed the front face had rubber on it. Immediately I knew he inserted the tire from the front and not the rear. With these 20 inch rims you need to install the tire on the backside of the wheel so it doesn't hit the face and also so you don't scratch the finish. I installed my wheel and noticed my tire pressure light wasn't turning off. So I went back and asked them if they damaged my TPM sensor inside my wheel and they said no. I told him if he saw the TPM sensor inside the wheel and he said "I don't know, it's probably there yea" like how did you not see a TPM, it's your job NOT to DAMAGE it. told them it was working perfect before I brought it to you, and he had the audacity to tell me "it was probably already not working". Like really guy. I maintenance my own cars smh Well surprisingly (not really) that brand new tire they installed popped on me the very next day, went to another shop to buy a new tire and I was 120% sure it was install error and knew there would be some damage to the tire lip from install. Well here are the pics, you tell me. Been coming here to install tires every now and again, but absolutely will not anymore. Don't bring your expensive rims here. read more
