I recently bought a used truck that has 191,000 miles on it & wanted to reinsure this truck was in in good condition. So I called first & explained to Troy which is running this establishment that I was concerned that it may have some problems . Troy first of all was down to earth & polite told me to come in & he would inspect the truck ! Most places would in the past would just take advantage of the truck & suggest unnecessary replacement of some kind , but I knew this auto center was definitely different especially with Troy which I think he owns the place . Troy told me the truck in great condition & absolutely does not need anything replaced. I will always comeback because the integrity & honesty that troy had towards me was professional. My trucks maintenance light tuned on. I took it to this shop. The reader on the truck was not working because the fuse was burnt out. The mechanic Tony told me he would charge me a hundred dollars to repair the fuse, get the reading, and if I repair the problem there, he would apply the 100 dollars to the repair. That sounded reasonable so I agreed. It turned out to be a #5 misfire. A very easy fix, and he stated it would not cost me much. Just a few dollars for the part and a little labor. So I agreed and brought the truck back to him the next day. It took about 15 minutes to replace the coil on the plug. Then Tony decided to charge me another 100 dollars even though he told me the day before that it would not be much more. I will never take my truck to this overpriced mechanic. I'd rather take my truck to the dealer and pay those high prices there. read more
