For all your car needs! Seriously! No need to go anywhere else! I took my car to a Toyota Dealer to get the 20k service for my 2017 Toyota Rav4. I asked them to check out a metal sounding noise coming from the front wheels, which i assumed were the brakes. The reps there told me that i had "plenty of time left before having to replace my brake pads" (at least till my 25k service) and that they couldn't replicate the noise. Fast forward just a couple of months and i was hearing the same noise but way more prominent. I was a bit of a jam. I took my son to the DMV in Whittier today for his behind the wheel drivers test. Mind you the night before my mechanic checked over my whole car lights, brake lights, etc. he assured my car was ready to go. Well when my son was ready to take his test the right brake light was out. I told the instructor if there was a manager I could talk to the manager told me if I could get it fixed in an hour we could come back and take the test. I took my car to Cesar at Whittier Tire Zone what a first gentleman this guy was I told him my situation and he fixed my light in less then 10 minutes. And we went back and my son passed his test. I have been trying to look for a good mechanic for a while now and my uncle recommended this place. Awesome service, Cesar asked me questions about my jeep before he worked on it so he could figure out what was wrong and they even showed me where my car was leaking from. They gave me a great deal for breaks and an oil change! I'll definitely be coming back soon. He also pointed out some other things that needed to be fixed asap! I use to go to Goodyear and I'm sure if I would of gone with them, they would of charged me double of what I payed . They do not try to sell you on things you do not need, unlike a lot of other auto repair shops in the area. What I am most impressed with is that they stand behind their work. I have had a lot of major and minor work done on my truck and my son's car by Tire Zone and have always been more than happy with the results. On the rare occasion that there was a problem, all I had to do is bring the vehicle back and they made it right in a timely manner, no questions asked. This place is terrible. They charge you 51.75 for a smog check, do not offer free retest if pass. Made me wait in their dirty, hot waiting room for over an hour (they said 30 minutes) to fail me. When I asked why they said they were experiencing equipment issues. Really? Then they wanted to charge me another $51.75 for the retest. STAY AWAY. read more
