The food was five star. We were not particularly fond of the arrangement of how to order. There is essentially no wait staff for your take. You must go to a separate booth to order there. All of your food comes at the same time. We had ordered soup and salads and entrees. They all came at the same time. I asked if the soup and salad can be brought first and was told everything comes at once You must go up and get your own silverware and water and soft drinks. Very noisy. Love the vibe of this place and so excited to see that there's a new breakfast nook downtown! There's lots of outdoor patio seating in addition the inside is fairly large. When we arrived the place was not too busy but as we were leaving it was jam packed so I would recommend do come early on weekends if you want to grab a seat. You order entrees at the counter which also serves as a full service bar and coffee station. In addition there's a separate counter for juice/smoothies. They bring the food out to your table after you order but for drinks you have to stay at the bar and wait. The two entrees we tried were excellent. The chicken had great flavor and was the perfect combo with the waffles. The breakfast sandwich was absolutely delicious. The bread it comes on is super fresh and not too heavy and the egg soufflé is so fluffy. I would definitely order both items again. Their coffee was also top notch. There was an incident with the wait staff, where the person I was with accidentally used the wrong pronoun, not out of meanness but sheer accident. He didn't know we upset our person at first and were approached much later very aggressively by another employee " is there a problem here" which we responded no and went about our meal. About 5/10 mins later we again were approached by this employee with a Togo box and check ( again aggressively), and she walked away. Once she came back I asked why we are being rushed/ asked to leave, and the response was " we have a-lot of reservations " which I said well we haven't been here for more than 30 minutes so I don't understand, that's when she let us know that we offended our original person. Which I responded it was an accident and not meant to be rude and I'm sorry. She then continued to be aggressive and wouldn't give us a chance to explain nor cared to hear our side and judged us as "insensitive assholes". The way the entire situation was handled was incorrect, you can't aggressively come at a person without knowing both sides and had it been handled better we absolutely would of apologized to the original person, because it was a genuine mistake. As soon as he said the pronoun , he knew he shouldn't of assumed. Which had the manager or whoever approached us had asked they would of known. But we were judged just as much as our original person was.. so both sides were wrong and this should be a lesson not only for us, but for the manager when a situation like this happens in the future read more

Had a reservation for 12:00PM, and wasn't seated until 15-20 minutes after we arrived on time. Ordered a Cappuccino and Spiked Cookie Crisp. Both were very nice. Food wise, not so much. We ordered the Ham and Cheese Croissant and Egg Muffin Sandwich. Both came out cold, and weren't very tasty at all. But the waffles were very good. Server came over to our table maybe 3 times. Tried this spot yesterday for a brunch with some friends. Atmosphere was great and staff that we interacted with was friendly. Personally ordered the breakfast sandwich, which was delicious! My two other friends were very impressed with their food as well. I did also order the cinnamon roll latte which came with homemade icing. Upon ordering, I did notice that the icing curdled when mixed into the drink. Not quite giving it too much thought, I did drink the latte, which lead to extreme belly pain/nausea the following hours. Although this did pass and was a little bit of user error on my part, a little disappointing for a $7/8 latte. Love this place. I believe it's the same owners as Coop DeVille but it seems a little more millennial oriented which is nice (less high schoolers hanging around.) If you sit in a booth, they have Video game console at each station which is super fun. They have a coffee bar that grows into a regular bar with cute & tasty cocktails. The coffee beverages were bomb. We got the oatmilk latte, almond latte, matcha, and espresso tonic (my fave!) All were delish and refreshing. The food didn't let us down either. Definitely recommend the shishito peppers and Japanese potatoes. Veggie Grain Bowl was also tasty but the other two were out of this world. They are also dog friendly. It was a million degrees out and the guy let us sit inside and even brought my dog some iced cold water. Thank you sir for going out of your way for us! Super cute vibe and friendly staff. I really wanted to love this place. The menu looked amazing. There were five of us who arrived at 8:30am for our reservation. The food did not all come out at the same time (and two of the four had cold food). The final breakfast (medium rare steak and eggs) came out quite a bit later and was also cold. In Pittsburgh for the first time. I came here based on the yelp reviews. The place is really noisy. Service was just okay. My bro ordered a banana nut muffin, and it came totally cold, not toasted. He asked to have it toasted and waitress wasn't even sure if they would do that for him. Prices for breakfast were 2x normal from where I go in southern NJ. I ordered the Sally Ann breakfast. 2 eggs, bacon, sour dough bread, jam and small roasted potatoes. It was good and cost $18. I probably wouldn't come here again. I swear I may have dreamed this place into existence! Sally Ann's the cutest spot you'll find downtown. I had their take on a French 75 and I loved it! For dinner we had the fries (similar to Poulet Blue's frites) as well as the kimchi grilled cheese and the garden salad. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is colorful yet relaxed. Went in for brunch and probably won't go back. The food was good, excellent avocado toast. The cinnamon roll was huge and the icing was great, but the roll itself was a bit dry. Our main issue was with our beverages/beverage service. We had a French press for two, and while the coffee was nice and strong how I like it, the quality of the French press itself resulted in a ridiculous amount of grounds in the coffee itself. Additionally, we ordered a couple spritzes which we didn't even get until well after we finished our food (waited about 45 minutes). This seemed to be a recurring theme as it appeared that many of the other customers were growing irritated waiting for their drinks. I had to go up to the bar multiple times to see if they even still had our order.
