I went to Sally's to buy some hair gel and when I went to pay they asked me for my number and I told them I didn't have my number with them, I looked at the face of the worker who was not happy about it and she told me that next time if I wanted to buy at Sally's I had to be a member and I asked her and I could still buy the gel and she told me that was the only thing I could buy, I got quite upset and told her that I would never come back and I left Sally's but I went back so they could give me Sally's main phone number to make a complaint, and the girl got very upset with me for that and started complaining to me and she is very upset with me telling me that I was being recorded as if I was doing something wrong just because I asked her for Sally's main number, this was my last time I will not go back to Sally's anymore, this happened today 8/2/20024 on Garfield st Cranston RI read more

I went in here looking for a specific tweezer and the girls here were very rude. They pretty much told me they only have one tweezer and that was it. I felt ignored and unwelcome. I have worked retail so I get how terrible it can be but it doesn't give you reason to be rude to someone that probably would have bought something. I walked in to look for hair dye and was greeted, it seemed like the workers did a quick exchange and one came up to me and asked if there was any dye I needed that she will bring to the front desk for me. I politely declined but I was the only one she had asked, not even the woman also looking for dye next to me. And while I continued to look for dye she stood beside me the entire time. Nothing on this planet could explain my disgust right now with this store and it's associates! What a group of incompetent employees in one place!! I went in on a Sunday afternoon to find braiding supplies. The store did not have what I was looking for. I asked one of the employees if they would go to the stockroom to find out if it was back there. Reluctantly, she did go. They did not have what I was looking for. I've been proceeded to ask her to call another store in the area to find out if I could get my supplies. She told me she called the Johnston store which was the store I requested. She took asked the employee what time they close they said 6 PM and if they have what I was looking for. I was very happy to find out that that they did! I asked her for the address and phone number which she wrote down on a piece of paper. I proceeded to the address which was on the paper only to find out when I got there at 5:15 at the store was closed. They actually closed at 5 PM. Had I had this information I would not have traveled to the store. So I called the number on the piece of paper that she gave me. Only to find out the phone number belong to the Warwick store. You can imagine how angry I was at finding this out. I asked employee for the address to where she was located which was a total different address that was written on the paper. Then got in my car and drove to the Warwick store. Only to find out they did not have what I was looking for. Now I'm angry. I find out that the supplies were indeed at the Johnston store. But they close at 5 PM. Now I have driven to 3 separate stores on a Sunday early evening and have not gotten what I need. All the employees needed to do verify the information I was looking for. I love this Sally! I came here to find purple shampoo for the ongoing trial that is my almost-there platinum hair. A sales associate was immediately available to help me find what I needed and to recommend the best products. Once in line, I did have to wait a couple of minutes, but considering that the customer in front of me was signing up for a rewards/discount card, it actually moved pretty quickly. They had 50% off all clearance items, so I got four amazing OPI colors for under ten bucks. Now I can get on with my bad summer self! read more

I went to this establisment on December, 2017. I was looking for a gel nail brush and nail polish removers 100% acetone. First, there were not options to choose but one kind of brush and it was awfull. I choose to buy it cause I already order the one I wanted online and this one is for one day. Then I proceed to choose the nail polish removers 100% acetone. There were small, medium and large bottles. With and without acetone. There were no 100% acetone in small size, one half full medium one and several large ones and one of them missing one quart of the bottle. I ask the sales woman if there have more in the store and after a while she told me that was the last one. Of course I wasn't going to buy it but she didn't even removed the"damaged" ones off the shelf. She found in other section some small bottle one and I gladly choose one and was ready to pay. There were 2 people in front of me. The cashier was in constant conversation with the sales woman. After couple of minutes the first customer in line left and then the woman in front of me was buying hair dye and bunch of other stuff. The cashier told her that the second dye is free so the woman left half transaction already, the cashier having a convo with the associate and me waiting like a dumb. Hello!!! Cancel the transaction, charge the other customers and as soon as the dye woman came back give service to her... but NO. I waited a decent period of time waiting.... and waiting. Suddenly I went back and returned to their place the products, wish the cashier a nice day and left to never ever come back. Selling "damage" products, no variety at least in nail brush, employees talking back and forth, slow than turtles, no professionalism at all. I used to come years ago when I was living nearby and everything were ok and now after 3 years I returned to this mess. At least I bought the nail polish remover 100 acetone in Rite Aid and in top of that it was price reduce and 3 for the price of two. I'll wait for my decent nail brush. Game over. read more

Rude and impersonal. Employees couldn't even step to the side or acknowledge me when I tried to walk by because they were too busy stocking shelves using grocery carts that consumed 2/3 of the aisle. So disappointed with this store. The Warwick location is "closed until further notice" even though their hours say open online. So I went to the Warwick location first to find out they're not open and the sign on the door referred us to the Cranston location. We headed in that direction, and on the way there we called and said our GPS says 9:00, we're going as fast as we can, could you please leave the door open so we can run in and grab what we need (since we already know exactly what we need). They acted like that'd be fine but mentioned something about how the "cash registers shut off at exactly 9pm" which makes no sense in the retail world...anyway, we get there at 8:59pm and literally run to the door without parking and the door is locked and the employee wouldn't let us in. I'm beyond pissed that I drove over 20 minutes and they couldn't stay open an extra 30 seconds for a paying customer. Not to mention the last time I was there the employees were rude, inconsiderate, and acted like they didn't care that you were there. Won't be going back. read more
