I stopped by this Sally's after a couple years of avoiding coming to this location because of the bad experiences I've had with the poor customer service from the managers and a few other employees. Today I decided to pop in and just get a few things quickly and leave, I was greeted warmly by the one employee who was working the store on her own, she answered my questions and she recommended me some good hair treatments . I'm glad to say I left a happy customer and I appreciate the time Miss Jackie took to answer my questions and discuss products with me. Thank you for your help Jackie! Went recently to grab products that are not available at my usual spot. Luckily SB had the exact item and quantity I needed. I called beforehand to make sure and the employee even held the products at the counter for me so that I could ensure I was t driving down for nothing. This is my first Yelp Review. Sally had a sale 40% off on some hair products yesterday only and I wanted to get some Ion hair products so I went in to this store last night at like 8:42 and they had the door locked already. The girl came and opened the door and asked me "do you know what you're going to get?" And I told her "yes, some shampoo and conditioner". So they let me in. I was asking them about the conditioner and they said they didn't have it. Which was okay, I understood that but I don't know why her damn attitude was so ugly, as well as the other girl who was the cashier. They didn't even offer to go to the back and see if they had anymore or anything. Maybe they did have more , they were just lazy to go because they were stocking things on the shelves. So I decided I was going to take the Ion shampoo and the Ion after color sealer and she was going to charge me already but then I thought about it and then I didn't purchase anything. I honestly would have made a bigger purchase too because I wanted to buy my hair dye products but guess what? I didn't end up spending anything at this store because their attitudes and annoying faces made me not want to. Store had what we needed, but very disappointed in an employee here. I came in not knowing which curling iron to purchase and the employee suggested to get two different size curling irons to mimic natural "n-word hair." Before she said the n-word, she looked around then whispered it. Clear indication she knew it was wrong to say it. Very unprofessional and uncomfortable with how racist she was. There were black customers in the store too... When I was at checkout, she asked for another employee's ID to use the register, so I don't know her name but she is Latina, red hair, and has tattoos along her arms. The old lady that works there is super lazy. The shelves have been empty for months. She was mad cuz she was the only one there answering phone calls and putting away the new inventory. I asked her if there was anymore of the color I was looking for she was like idk I have to check the boxes Im like okay and she was mad shaking her head like she didnt wanna do it. I get it tough day at work but dnt be upset at the customer Im asking not demanding. She was not helpful at all. I ended up going to another sallys. At the end of the day she signed up for the job. If I could give 0 stars I would. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I walked in and 2 workers are standing by the door, starring out and commenting about every single person and car passing by. The tone they greet you with and ask if you need help is so rude. I didn't even want to ask anything and when I did instead of the Señora approaching me she responds with "what do you need" from across the store. I asked my question and all she did was point at the product and walked back to the door to continue gossiping. Another girl comes by me restocking and actually working and asks if she can help me with the sweetest tone, starts giving me options, recommending and tells me how to use a product step by step. I now go and pay and the cashier instead of asking ME "who helped me" she asking the workers standing by the door and one of them takes credit. When I'm about to pay I told her "the red headed girl helped me" and her response was like oh sorry and continued with the transaction. I counted about 5 girls, Sallys you don't need the 2 standing by the door, aside from rude, their attitude makes customers uncomfortable. Please give credit where credit is due a huge part of your business comes from customer service. Literally all your reviews are 1 star. And for the red headed girl thankyou for being so sweet and helpful. I walked in today and there was no one in the store. The girl must have been in the back and left the store unattended. Anyway I was looking at what color to get when she turned off the lights and didn't even acknowledge me. She just went to the register and went about her business. She heard me say that it was very rude that she turned off the lights on me without even letting me know that it was time to close. I walked past by her and looked at her and she still didn't even bother to say sorry. What kind of employee does that go a customer?? If you need someone to leave, you simply say sorry we are closed and let the customer know you will need to close the store! You don't just shut the lights on them and pass them by. This is the 1st yelp review that I've written and I even went as far as adding this store to yelp because I couldn't find it on there site. The reason I did this is because I received great customer service from one of their employees her name is Vero. I've been going to Sally's for years and on this visit I was there to purchase some hair dye and bleach. I wanted a suggestion on some hair bleach and I saw Vero stocking a shelf she was super friendly and made a suggestion I told her I would try that product and had a few other questions about it and she answered every question in such a friendly manner. She helped me out with some of the specials they had in store and in addition told me about a coupon I could use. So in total with the store promotions and coupons she suggested I saved $24.66 and I love saving money. Aside from saving money her patience and friendly personality meant the world to me because these days that's not always the case with most retail stores. The world could defiantly use more people like Vero. I've shopped at other Sally's stores but I will definitely be back to this one. read more

If I could give this location a zero I would they don't even deserve one star. I went into this location on June 30 at 5:40pm to return an item however I didn't have a receipt. I walked in and said hello to the worker that was in the cash register by the name of Ruth and she just stared at and didn't say anything back.I waited for her to be done with the girl in front and it when I got to the register she was dialing someone on the phone. I stood there for more than 30 seconds when she asked me what did I want while she was on the phone with some lady. I explained to her my situation and the whole time she wasn't listen she was talking to the lady on the phone. Really unprofessional I asked her for her name and the manager because that was really unprofessional and I walked out. The first time I went in there were two girl who were extremely helpful which is why I came back to this location keep in mind I'm coming from Pico Rivera. I worked in customer service and if I pulled a stunt like that I would get written up immediately. I tried to call the store and it sounds busy so I will be calling cooperate to let them know about this store and how it conducts themselves.
