I really appreciated the people I spoke to over the phone when asking questions about the whole procedure and setting up the appointment because they were very supportive and respectful. Dr. Renee was amazing. Very sweet to my baby girl on her final day with us and she was comfortable and peaceful in her passing. They offer a complimentary clay paw print and Dr. Renee was able to shave some hair for me. It was a quick procedure and Dr. Renee ensured that she was in no pain during the procedure and she was safe when being taken away. I chose to do private cremation and was able to pick up the ashes from the crematory after a few days. I've had to euthanize previous dogs before but this was my first time using Lap of Love and I thought the whole process was perfect for my old gal.

I don't want to get into details because it's all still too raw, but after realizing it was time to say goodbye to my 15 year old best friend, I knew I wanted her to be at home and not at a vet's office when she transitioned. I talked to their team and they were very helpful, answered all our questions, and just helped us make the right decision. Dr. Jeannie was so compassionate and kind. She took care of everything, walked us through the entire process. While this was such a hard day, the team really helped us through and helped us give our sweet girl a peaceful sendoff.

This is something no one ever wants to do, but if we bring furbabies into our hearts and homes, we'll likely have to do it at some point. The last thing I wanted to do was to traumatize my terminally ill kitty with a car ride to a cold, sterile vet's office (no offense to any vets) like I've had to in the past. After doing research, Dr. Noe was reasonably priced (although that's not necessarily super important in these situations), quick to respond, professional, and compassionate. She clearly explained what would be happening and allowed us to set the pace. Nothing happened until we were ready - including our final goodbye. Even better, when it was finally time to leave, Frankie was placed into a basket and tucked in with a blanket he would've loved. His passing was peaceful, respectful and surrounded by love. **The photo I'm attaching is him before they left. He looks like he's taking a quiet nap and I'm so happy to remember him this way.**

She was very professional and was able to come to the house an hour earlier which was a huge relief, as our girl was suffering. I can't imagine having anyone else and felt like she was an angel. My dog Cherly was a homeless hound from Oklahoma who lived at the Big Dog Rescue for a year and a half of her life. Cheryl saved my girl and gave her a chance even though no one wanted her as she was one of their long term residents. This peaceful palace is a fully fenced sanctuary. Cheryl (the owner) and staff has put so much love and care into her passions. They dogs she's rehabilitated, the care they receive, they support they get. You have to be one lucky pup to be at the Big Dog. My dog loves coming back to the Big Dog for visits. She's super excited and happy. Cheryl wants to make sure her dogs are going to the home that is the perfect match. She will carefully screen as every rescue should do. I've read some of the 1 star reviews on here. And Cheryl is right, dogs are not ment to spend hours outside. What if it's hot? She is correct and has every right to be concerned where her dogs are placed. If you are not a good fit of she is not comfortable with your household, then I'm sure there is another match out there waiting for you to save them.

I filled up the application and I received a one-liner response: "he is gone". I asked for a different dog and the answer was "gone too". I believe my application was a disaster, because I had no clue of what you are supposed to do with a dog and I wrote what I thought we would do. After researching the topic, I can see why they would not consider us for adoption with that application ;-) However, I wrote back asking to speak with them to understand why they did not spend more than a second to reply (I was looking for some suggestions on if we are ok to adopt or if we should not even bother). They never answered. I guess they are great with dogs but have a problem with humans.

We like that the staff understands Jack and are careful not to overwhelm him with too many other dogs all at once. They are taking a careful and tailored approach for Jack, which is exactly what we were hoping for when we started with the daycare program. I met the owner, Wendy, the other day when I picked Jack up from daycare. She was checking in on the dogs and staff. She is kind, caring, and seems to be very knowledgeable about all kinds of dog breeds and behaviors. The office staff also deserves positive feedback, they kindly changed my daycare appointment today at no extra cost when I couldn't make the appointment. It's also the reason for writing this positive review today. Overall, Olivet Kennel is a professional run facility with an online booking system that still feels like a family business that you can trust. The kennel is clean and inviting. So far, we are very happy with their service!

It seems unprofessional to let sick dogs stay there but I guess they just care about money. Also I had prepaid for a daycare package. When I tried to use it they told me that it had expired during the time my dog was sick. I told Stephanie there's no way I could use the prepaid package while my dog was sick. She had not been in contact with any other dogs so I am 100% certain she caught it at Olivet. They never did honor the daycare pass I paid for and told me "sorry but it expired". Seemed odd for them to be so stubborn about a policy after my dog almost died because of them allowing sick dogs to stay there. I paid over $2000 in vet bills because of them and my dog nearly died. You've been warned, proceed with caution.

I couldn't have asked for better therapist and person to bring into my life during the most difficult of times. From our very first session, it's like it was meant to be. She was so incredibly understanding and compassionate. She basically held my hand through all the steps I had to go through, that Capone and I had to go through together. She stood by our side for a year. She guided me, emotionally and spiritually. She taught me how to think rationally when making tough decisions, she celebrated our small wins, she talked to me through the darkest of times, all the vet visit, radiation treatments, times filled with tears and guilt. She honored the bond Capone and I have. She helped me stay strong. she taught me to write down what I was feeling, she showed me techniques to get through moments when I would be alone. she constantly checked in and made sure I kept in touch. She held space and even cried with me. And after everything was all said and done, she was still right there, spiritually and emotionally by Capone and my side. She has so much experience with animals both in the veterinary field and as a fur mama herself. I could not have asked for anyone better to be by my side, to share Capone and my journey with. I am forever grateful, and truly honored to have met her. She has a very special gift and an even more beautiful heart. I couldn't recommend her enough. This is exactly what she was born to do. To Cara, Today, 4.16.24, marks the one year anniversary since Capone transitioned. I just wanted to reach out and tell you I am forever grateful for all of your love and support through that really hard time. Thank you for showing up for Capone and I, thank you for selflessness, thank you for your patience, thank you for your understanding. Thank you for your beautiful heart and thank you for being the incredible friend you are! Couldn't have done it without you! Sending all the love and hugs your way! LOVE YOU
