CHOCOLATE DIPPED KEY LIME PIE!! The one thing we completely forgot to try when visiting Key west.... Well luckily for us this happening little ice cream stand offers just that. Very Popular little place which in my eyes meant they're clearly doing something right. The Key lime pie did not disappoint! It was just as we would have imagined it to be, DELICIOUS! Its not gourmet but it has friendly service and good variety of Ice Cream. There is almost always a little line of 4 or 5 beach going kids or families. The Ice Cream is always fresh. We went to Sally's tonight. We never tried it before, but, someone in our condo said it was good. Wrong! My daughter takes pictures and posts food, but, she asked for rainbow sprinkles,and got chocolate. Did not look enticing. Then we ordered a black and white milkshake. I asked for vanilla and chocolate hard ice cream, with chocolate syrup. He got a vanilla shake. They said a black and white shake is vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup! We paid 22.42 and I gave a 3.00 tip( to boot!) for 2 cups with 2 scoops, 1 with sprinkles and a large shake! Just sounds like we paid too much! THe ice cream was ok. I went here with my parents while we were checking on our rental house in Northern Florida. The ice cream was perfect for the hot beach. The prices were reasonable, considering it was right on the water (I don't remember exactly because it was a while ago, but my dad didn't complain, and that's usually a good sign). It was good, classic ice cream, at a classic-looking stand. What was really sweet of the woman working there was that she gave my puppy some ice cream too! Was craving ice cream while in Flagler Beach and knew the Waffle Cone was pretty good so we headed there. Only problem is it was Monday and they were closed. Damn! A check of Yelp and I find good reviews of Sally's so we give it s try. Nice location right across from the beach. They offer 20-25 flavors of what appears to be their own home made hard ice cream. Also soft serve. I tried a Mattahorn sundae with salted caramel ice cream. It comes with hot fudge, caramel, marshmallow, crushed M&M's, whipped cream, cherry and nuts. I was pleased to see the hot fudge on the bottom with ice cream on top. It prevents the fudge melting the ice cream too quick. Prices and quality very good. They have other interesting types of sundaes, hot dogs, burgers, fries, nachos and more. We found a great place for ice cream next time a craving hits in Flagler. read more

This place is great. My wife got the strawberry cheesecake ice cream in a waffle cone. It was by far the best cheesecake style ice cream either of us has had. Very creamy and rich. My banana split was also quite good. Seating is all outside so it'll be warm on summer days. They do have umbrellas though. Parking along either side of the road is easy enough. read more

They have a cat or dog bowl full of nasty water right next to where you pick up your ice cream. It's a shame, because it does taste great. Great spot right on Flagler beach. There are so many cool flavors to pick from. They were knowledgeable about allergies as well. I called to see if there was gluten free dairy free and all without cookie dough are gluten free. There is also a vanilla that is Lactose free that I got and was delicious. I added sprinkles and banana and it tasted just like regular vanilla ice cream. I would def. come back to this place. It was a little crowded. a lot of this rating is based on nostalgia. i remember being five or so and my parents would take me and my sister to sally's after dinner. i'd get a chocolate-dipped soft serve, and it took me a painfully long time to eat it. i went back here a few weeks ago and was so excited to see it again. they've put in more seating, which is nice. i used to sit on the ground. they've expanded their menu a little more. i was disappointed to find out that they stopped serving the taco in a bag. years ago sally's had a menu item that was chili and sour cream and cheese all plopped inside a bag of fritos. when i asked if they had it, the wee girl behind the counter looked at me all wide-eyed and had no idea what i was talking about. oh, if only you knew. this is your classic beachside ice cream shop. it's not expensive, and you can't take it that seriously. if you don't like this place, then you probably hate raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens and bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens and brown paper packages tied up with strings. that's a shame. read more

Went to Sally's for the first time on May 6th. Softserve was creamy and flavorful. They also had 4 flavors of sugar free/ fat free hard ice cream. That is hard to find. Location is excellent. I'll be back! read more
