Been here a handful of times and have to say it is hands down some of the best coffee and matcha in the area. The specialty tiramisu latte has my heart and hope it stays on the menu and the lavender matcha frappe I had was perfect. Nothing is overly sweet so you can still taste that delicious coffee and the earthy notes of matcha poke through. Owner is so kind and you can tell he put his heart into this little spot. Wish I had photos of the coffee/matcha but they were so good I didn't even get a chance!

My friend and I are out here looking for a good yap cafe with matcha and we found it. We were pleasantly surprised with the location; very aesthetic and giving off European vibes. We ordered the strawberry matcha and a savory crepe to share. The matcha was good but I would prefer real strawberries rather than just strawberry syrup. Like I said it was good but the syrup almost tasted more like raspberries. The crepe was cooked to perfection and it was way bigger than expected. Like I said, we had to share it. The savory crepe with turkey, avocado, mushrooms, eggs, tomato. Service is up front at the counter and they brought the drinks and food to us. Great for small and large groups and a place to study. I would like to come back if I'm in the area and try the other crepe options. Till then, let's eat!

We came here for breakfast with a friend. We tried the raspberry Nutella crepes and sausage bagel.

I got a London fog and lox crepe for a quick lunch. I wish I got the lox bagel, it being in the form of a crepe was a little weird and did not go well together in my opinion. The London fog was on the sweeter side. I would go back to try a sweet crepe since I did like the way it was made and it probably will taste way better with a sweeter filling. They also do have a drive thru which I thought is very convenient. Service was efficient and there is room to do work if needed.

    * Tried the lemon sugar crepe today...that was actually good! New favorite.. will update if I find any more treasures. Quite good little neighborhood place... Good food.. my favorite the savory crepe.. tried the sweet crepe and honestly I've had better but the savory worth a visit for sure... latte was way up there with great lattes.. that itself was worth the new venture.. id go back and try something new for sure...

Good crapes overall. The fruit one is in the photo with Nutella. The hot mocha latte was okay. Interiors are very nice and the service was really good

Such a cute coffee shop in McKinney! The owner was so nice and the service was amazing!! We had the white mocha and crepe with Nutella, it was delicious. They also have a drive through! Definitely coming back whenever I get the chance!

FOOD IG: @northtx.gemz **** WHAT THEY'RE KNOWN FOR: being the only speciality crepe shop in all of the DFW metroplex! THE VIBE: white sleek clean and modern! PRICE: gifted WOULD I COME BACK? Yes. **** Overall Rating: 10/10 - I've been wanting to try Salomay for the longest after hearing they have the best crepes and breakfast items and I'm so glad I was invited out to taste! - Sometimes, I find that some crepes tastes very egg-y but these crepes were absolutely perfection and didn't have that gross egg taste! The layers were thick but still light at the same time. - The flavor combinations really stood out in the breakfast crepe and apple pie crepe. The apple pie crepe was perfectly sweet and cinnamon-y. - My absolute FAVORITE was the Paris French toast! Omg ask for dark chocolate instead of Nutella and you won't regret it. Literally so good I could've devoured the whole thing. - Drinks are on the sweeter side if you like that and the cookie was the perfect sweet treat. - That caramel macchiato was one of the best coffees I've ever had. Perfectly sweet and toasty.

Yummy!!!! After pickleball we were looking for a drink and some food. We just happened to stop upon Salomay. It's a comfortable clean comfortable establishment. The owner helped us with our order. We split a Paris crepe that had bananas and strawberries and a chocolate sauce. It was more than plenty to split and the presentation was wonderful. My friend had a strawberry lemonade and I had a seasonal iced cookie coffee. Both were very good. I wanted to stop by my daughter and ordered a strawberry mango lemonade for her and hubby. The owner was kind enough to give me a drink carrier and covered the lid so it wouldn't spill. The prices are reasonable. Really enjoyed our visit. I highly recommend stopping by. Very good.

I don't normally leave reviews but I wanted to support this local business! One of my favorite coffee shops in McKinney! The service is wonderful, and I have loved everything I have tried so far. My personal favorites are the Honey Bee Latte and the Lavender Matcha!

I am so glad we found this gem in McKinney! The vibe was happy and bright. The owner, Apollo, was very personable and welcoming. I ordered the McKinney crepe, cappuccino, and the Matcha tea. Everything was delicious! It's an excellent place for a crepe and a cappuccino. I will be back!

Yummy!! So I'll admit, I'm trying this place because I saw a viral review the other day and it's not far from my office. I placed an online order for pickup for a Bananas Foster Crepe. When I arrived at the time indicated, my order was on the counter and ready!! Love it. When I got to my office, I ate it and it was very good. Even though I loved what I had, I wish I'd gotten a breakfast one with eggs & and stuff, but this just gives me another reason to go back. And Go back I will. The inside of the restaurant was small & nicely decorated. They also have coffees & drinks there so definitely give them a try.

Just tried Salomay for the first time and was not disappointed! Best service, food and beverages for a coffee/wine/crepes shop! Ordering is quick and easy, wait time was quick, food was fresh and omg, soo good. Also tried the strawberry frappe and I swear it got better and better with every sip. The place is small and quaint! Just so lovely and peaceful! Everything and every moment spent here was totally worth it! Definitely would frequently this place.

The menu may look the same, but the quality and preparation of items have changed. For example, the crab cake Benedict used to feature homemade crab cakes, and now it's a fried frozen-style patty. The one-star review is really based on the service experience, and unfortunately it's the reason we won't be returning. While waiting for our table, the manager or possible owner was telling single-party guests there was a 30-minute wait, while parties of three or more were being quoted only 10 minutes. An older woman standing there heard him tell the group in front of her 10 minutes right before he told her 30. The more I thought about it afterward, the more disappointed I was that I didn't speak up in the moment. Treating guests differently based solely on party size is unacceptable and left a very bad impression.

If you're dining in the area, you can choose to skip the restaurant dessert and come here. On my most recent visit, I ended up eating outside due to comfort issues. My Overall Rating - 3 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Heads up! The shopping strip is very busy, and parking can be a challenge. In the front there are many crêpes behind glass cases. It's like a wall of food art. Inside you'll find an open space with a few tables, tons of dark wood, an open kitchen, but on my most recent visit, it was uncomfortably warm. It's was pretty outside (early March), and there were a couple of benches, so I sat outside. 1/2 Star. Service - I think this is the new trend, but you now order through a kiosk. Now, there a lot of positives, because you can take your time and scroll through the selections. But for me, there's something about interacting with someone and asking for opinions. On the other hand, it allows the staff to craft your crêpe in the open, which is cool to watch. 1/2 Star. Food - Full Disclosure - I went with my daughter so I'm basing this review on her opinion. She went with the Chocolate Banana. Now, it was loaded, and the folks at T-Swirl Crêpe do not skimp on the ingredients. Each crêpe is carefully crafted from fresh batter. My daughter gave her approval. When I asked her how did her Chocolate and Banana crêpe taste? "Like chocolate and banana". Thumbs up. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. While the very warm temperature inside made it too uncomfortable for me to stay inside to watch the staff construct the crêpes, my previous visits have been great. I just hope the A/C kicks in when the Texas summer arrives. 1 Star.
