The gel manicure itself was also disappointing. In my past experiences, my gel manicures have lasted for weeks, but this one did not hold up as expected and the overall application seemed rushed and less careful. What stood out to me was an interaction during the appointment when a nail became smudged. Another technician initially suggested redoing it properly, but the owner stepped in and insisted that only the affected area be fixed. The other technician's reaction suggested that this may not have been the salon's usual standard of service. I understand that everyone can have an off day, but this experience felt noticeably different from the level of quality and care I had previously received.
