However, it can get busy there and the hot tub chlorine does sting my eyes a bit. There is also a steam and dry sauna there (both men and women in there). Parking is also difficult to find close by with how many people go there now. The women's locker room was nice, but honestly I expected the showers to be nicer and more modern. We stopped by the cafe on the way out. I tried the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The grilled cheese had apples in it and had good flavor. However, the tomato soup just tasted like thick, sour, tomato paste. It was not creamy like typical tomato soup.

You're better off not signing up and just walking in. 2. Brining guests is a complete hassle and you're charged a non refundable fee of $25 if life changes happen and you don't come with a guest that day. On several occasions I was denied guests even tho it was well before the required 24hour application to request them. On multiple occasions my requests were completely ignored and went unreported to even if they were placed 72hours in advance. I was frequently traveling to KC for work and sports only to be hassled when my wife visited from LA stating that I reached my cap for local guest passes (mind you, she lives in California full time and would visit me about once or twice a month for a weekend) 3. Steam room in women's bathroom is utterly disgusting and wasn't cleaned since I was there over a several month period, how'd I know? The dirt streaks and giant clump of hair that just remained of the floor for over 6months 4. Coming from Los Angeles and the Heimat gym where I pay $350/month, I was excited to try this gym... but this gym is clearly nothing but a wanna-be elite gym. The best part of this place is the flavored water in the women's locker room- And maybe the pools in the summer but good luck finding parking 5. Looking to bring up an issue with the staff and escalate it? Don't worry, they're happy to ignore you. Trust me, you're not gonna miss this place. Only thing it's memorable for is being complicated while trying to use its perks and over complicated. The 2 stars are for the water and the equipment. The cleaning staff is super nice tho!

I was also stiff as a board because of the long drive so I hopped on Yelp and found this place. My only complaint is that they are in MO and not Florida! Anyway, I called and they luckily had an opening for a 60-minute Deep tissue massage, so I booked it! AMAZING!! Ebony was my masseuse, she came in and introduced herself, and I have to say I was kinda concerned that her petite appearance wouldn't be able to apply sufficient pressure. Wrong! She started at my neck and shoulders and worked her way down to my feet. My hips, hamstrings, and adductors are always tight because of my sports, she got rid of all that soreness and stiffness. When I got off her table I was euphoric and my muscles felt like buttah... The pressure was great and she was masterful with her hands and fingers wringing out the fascia and taking my joints through their full range of motion. This was one of the best massage experiences I have ever had! I will book with her again anytime I'm in the area. Excellent!!

Then 2 of the girls followed, and we said, "Good morning," no reply back. They did the scalp analysis, which was cool. They proceeded to take us back to get changed. After we got started with service. The head massage and cleansing could've been better. Felt like she was petting me. My cousins felt the same way. The tools she used to scrub my scalp were nice because I felt like she really got in there. But I didn't feel like there was any "acupressure." The hand massage had no consistency, and I found myself counting what she was doing. She massages like in between my pinky finger like 5 times, then the thumb once and then pulled index finger only. In between our thumb and pointing fingers are where the best pressure points are. It's great for relieving stress and headaches. I do hand and arm massage daily. Someone dropped a box of supplies or something and was loud picking it all back up in the middle of the massage. Definitely not relaxing at all. During my facial, she used a wet sponge or towel that was a little TOO wet, and water was dripping inside my nose. Although that part didn't feel as good, the facial was my favorite part. The neck and shoulders massage could've been better and consistent. This place has such good potential. I think they all need to experience this service themselves. Maybe do it on each other. Better training on spa etiquette. Work on consistency. Work on better pressure and better customer service.

I booked a pedicure service, and the three foot spa/sink areas were all out of service. My foot soak was in a shallow plastic dish of cold water. The top of my feet were exfoliated, presumably because it was all that could be easily rinsed. I am not sure what the issue was, but there was not hot or running water. They should not be offering this service as listed. It is a misrepresentation. I was charged $58 for the service, so with tip, I paid nearly $90 for a spa pedicure service that I could have done at home, but with hot water. I felt terrible for the young nail tech because she was truly fabulous and clearly making the best of what her employer had available; but she's never going to be able to build a book of business without functioning spa equipment. The actual polish service was pristine and will probably last a few months or more. I would absolutely book a service with the tech again, if she moved to another spa. However, even if the owner decided to bring her business out of disrepair, I'm not sure I'd return because of the bait and switch, and willingness to destroy that young woman's early professional development.
