I love love love Salon 22! Everytime I go in I'm greeted by friendly faces and amazing treatment. I've been going to Salon 22 for over four years now and I really couldn't imagine going any place else! After getting a awful haircut at a salon I decided to go to Salon 22 in Crete, Richelle did my hair cut to try and fix botched cut & the uneven ends. After seeing the results I knew this was home for your hair! I also will admit I was a box hair dyer and when I tried to bleach my hair it wouldn't pull.....made an appointment with Autumn and she lifted my hair and gave me a great color even added a fantasy purple to my hair which I loved she really is a color EXPERT! Did i mention the price was insanely reasonable?! Had a huge problem with biting my nails so Lisa recommend a no chip mani since it makes it kinda hard to bite with the no chip on and now I have longer healthier nails that look great. My no chip lasted around three weeks so it's right around the time when I'm due for my hair touch up, so I get pampered every second I am there! I originally found Salon 22 from a Groupon I bought for pedicures. While there the owner, Rochelle was talking to me about my long hair. I decided to give them a try, since it was an hour to my regular stylist. When I wanted out done, she wasn't there so I got Autumn. I loved it!! 3 colors and it looked great!! This was over 5 years ago and I haven't been disappointed once. I've had both Rochelle and Autumn for my hair, my 18yo has had a few, but mainly Autumn, even my younger 2 (12 and 7) go there. My oldest and I are pretty crazy with our hair at times. I can't even begin to count the number of colors we've had or different styles we've had. Never once have I had any issues. I see some of these reviews and I just don't get it! I want a professional to help! They do know best. I've decided against certain ideas they have had, but always listen and discuss. As far as waiting, seriously do you ever wait at a Dr.? Dentist? Car Repair? You have to wait for everything. It's well worth the wait and is much rather see them not messing up sometime else's hair by hurrying for me! It's an art! read more

As a frequent and long time customer of Salon 22 (5years) I'm shocked to see such false accusations on both character and quality of work relating to the owner and staff of this establishment!! I have had cuts, color, mani, pedi, no chip services performed with No issues by Richelle, Autumn, and Lisa! I also bring my son in for cuts too. Everyone is friendly and courteous ensuring my comfort an needs are fulfilled. As far as timing issues, I have see first hand the "customer" unsure of exactly what they want has inturn caused delays in scheduled time of other customers appointments....not the staffs lack of work ethics or scheduling! I will continue being a Happy customer of Salon 22 and hope individuals will discredit the Negative Nancies on the reviews! A few bad seeds will not stop the Large number of individuals that continue to enjoy their services and keep coming back for more! When you walk into Salon 22, you immediately feel a wonderful calmness! They greet you when you walk in and truly listen to what look you are going for! They are SPOT ON when it comes to the color and cut you want, and their Manicurists and pedicurist are personable and wonderful listeners! They are professional and do a GREAT No chip nail job! Have a hack job done to your hair??? CALL SALON 22!! They will turn it into something FABULOUS! The Staff treat you with the utmost respect! Its a relaxing, fun place to be! I would not ever remommend this place to anyone. Ive gone there several times before and Ashley did my nails everytime. My no chips looked terrible like a kid did them and they would come off. Also i know someone who used to work there and Autumn keeps cheap shampoo and comditioner hidden, and when the expensive bottles are empty she fills them back up with cheap stuff. That i think is compmetely wrong. Ive been ripped off paying for shampoo blowouts. I can use shit shampoo at home. Ive now moved elsewhere and found a better salon without trash workers, teenagers without cosmo licences, and without a ripoff stealing your money. Watchout for lawsuits, and your one worker needs to watch out for harrassment charges. This place is low run and terrible. I will NEVER be back. By far the best salon i have ever been to! A great atmosphere with amazing people! The owner and her employee's are amazing and friendly. My hair is in better condition then it has ever been. Thank you to the team at salon 22 for your amazing dedication to your clients. Also the owner is so extremely caring i watched her one time take care of an older client with advanced Alzheimer's she took extra time to do this older ladies hair and nails to make her feel special and beautiful and at the end she told the ladies husband there would be no charge for her apt. that day. The owner paid it forward that day and showed that doing good for others still exsist in a world where people only care about themself and business only care about the bottem line. I started going to salon 22 a year ago after my long time stylist moved. This was difficult for me because I had been going to the same stylist for over ten years! My first visit I was nervous due to this but I really should not of been! From the minute you walk in the door you are treated like a good friend of everyone who works there! Rochelle takes the time to greet every client and Autumn is truly an artist with color! She takes her time with each client to really get to know what they want! Lisa cuts my sons hair and he adores her! I have had bad experiences on the past because my son is adhd and doesn't like the clippers. But with Lisa he is comfortable, she is very patient! Salon 22 is a fun and relaxing place for me! I get a no-chip mani and a pedi here every other week. It's my one little self-indulgence. They have a great choice of no-chip colors and now that I've been going there for a while Lisa goes out of her way to purchase new colors that she thinks I would like. You can't get much more personal attention than that! I love the work done by Lisa, Richelle, and Autumn and highly recommend them for any of their spa services! Every time I'm in the salon, I see someone being wowed with a new hair color or cut, or eyelash extensions. Richelle, the owner of Salon 22 is a friend of mine and I just have to say she is incredible at what she does. I made an appointment to get some highlights added to my hair. I am naturally a blonde, but after I went through a stage of dying my hair brown, I had a brassy gold tint to my roots and Richelle has been the ONLY stylist I've went to who was able to fix that for me! While I was waiting for my highlights to set and do their magic, I was offered some tea. I had their pomegranate tea and it was delicious! I personally think their Salon decor is very homey and everyone there is so nice to you as soon as you walk through the door. I highly recommend this place to anyone! read more

Went today for a no chip mani-pedi!!! The interior was so warm and homey!! I was immediately greatest by the who I found out later, by the owners daughter who was extremely welcoming and accommodating!! I needed to be out by a certain time and all of the employees pitched in to make it happen because they were extremely busy!!! They were truly team workers, no complaints, just did their job and were so down to earth and friendly as if I'd known them for years!!! This salon is not for everyone!!!!! If you want an EXCELLENT hair cut, style or color, go to Salon 22... If you want so/so then go somewhere else. I have been going here for about 3 years and have had both Autumn and Richelle as my stylists, with perfection every time. Covering those ugly grey hairs is never a problem with them. I have had Mani's and Pedi's by 2 of their nail techs and never a complaint. They are almost always busy, so you may have a little wait, but its worth it. Let me just start by saying BEST FADE EVER. Not only do I walk in the door and get greeted with smiles and offered CHOICES of beverages INCLUDING CHAMPAGNE, I get THE BEST haircut.
