I am obsessed with Jasmine's hair expertise! I have curly hair, so normally I am very hesitant to have my hair cut by someone new. I showed her the haircut I was wanting & she executed it perfectly. She gave me a banging deva cut, that looks bomb blown out! & she's literally the sweetest human ever! The salon is super cute and homey and clean. Jasmine & I chatted away while she did an olaplex treatment, and cut my hair. She made sure to check that I liked the length while she was cutting it, and let me tell you it looks amazing curly. This is cute little salon where all the hairstylists are independent contractors. I had Laurel cut my hair for the first time, and I loved it. She was personable and very attentive to what my needs were. All the other staff in the salon were also very welcoming and friendly. I arrived early, and Laurel wasn't ready for me yet, but all the others were really quick to help me out, offer me drinks, etc. The location is a bit tough, because the parking lot is kind of small and tight. But, it is a really cute little salon in a super cute complex. I loved that the salon had a lot of big mirrors, so you could really get a good view of your hair. I get compliments on my hair all the time, and for someone who has a 5-head like me, it's really important for my hairstylist to be able to cut bangs properly. I didn't get anything fancy done, just took off a few inches (I have really long hair), layers, and side bangs. I'd definitely go back and see Laurel the next time I needed a cut. read more

I was looking for a salon that was open a little later than others bc I work 10am-7pm. I found this salon on Groupon ($40 for cut, wash and style) I saw great reviews on yelp and saw they stayed open later as well which was a HUGE plus for me. When I called in to book an appointment the lady advised me Jennifer worked early mornings also and can take me in at 8;30am so I have enough time to get to work! Again another great plus! Jennifer was AMAZING! I felt super comfortable with her! She was explaining everything she was doing to my hair and really took care my concerns with my hair. Ali saved my hair. No really, she did. It's been about 4 months since I moved down to OC, and I was honestly dreading finding a new hairstylist because I LOVED the guy I went to up in SF. I'd been going to him for years, and I could always tell him "do whatever you want" and it would come out looking AMAZING. I looked on Yelp and found a guy who got rave reviews. Went to him with a few photos of balayages that I liked, and it turned out NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS. Not even close. It wasn't until I got out into the sunlight, away from the fluorescent light of the studio, that I saw exactly how TERRIBLE my hair looked. It was all one shade with harsh lines where you could clearly see where it was "painted." Even my boss was like, ......... when she saw me the next day. I booked an appointment with Ali at Salon 29:11, and I even went in a week before my appointment to make sure that it was fixable, otherwise I would just cancel my appointment. She assured me that she could fix it, and when I went in a week later, fix it she most certainly did. Ali took my hair from one-dimensional hair that started awkwardly an inch from my roots, to a beautifully done, multi-dimensional balayage with a beautiful ombre, lighter pieces around the face, and some darker pieces in the back. It was 205609124 times better than before, and it looks so much more natural. On top of that, Ali is the sweetest. So glad I was able to find a stylist down here in OC that I can trust to give me gorgeous hair! read more

I just got home from a dye (black) and cut from Sanaz. I'm pretty upset and sad--I have dye at hair line. A spot on my face and ears. Very noticeable. She booked on me and another client at the same time but that didn't bother me too much but I did notice a rushed job. Mostly likely why I have dye on my face, forehead and ears. I don't think i mind paying a lot but the price for a all black dye and a trim was completely outrageous. For what I got...completely outrageous. Sanaz was nice--a little indifferent to me but that's ok, I'm a new client. I'm at home now trying rub dye off my face and pretty sad about it :-( read more

Me and my friend Haylee came in today to get our hair done, she wanted it cut and highlighted and I wanted a balyage (or however you spell it) we were greeted so friendly they offered us water and sat us down very quickly (before our original appointment time) our stylists were very understanding of what we wanted, I had Ashley and my friend has shauna they were both super nice and were very easy to talk to, the environment was very welcoming and comfortable !! It's just what I was looking for - top tier color and style services in an intimate, upscale, comfortable setting. The staff is excellent and the vibe is great. Looking forward to my next visit! I waited quite awhile (too long!) after moving from out of state to find a new colorist/stylist, and the "hair gods" rewarded me for my patience with Ivonne! She's warm, friendly, knowledgeable and all about giving you the best color and style your hair can achieve! Ivonne has obviously devoted some serious effort to mastering her craft, and it shows after you leave her chair. The salon is located in a center that has a lot of parking, which for me is really important as there is nothing worse than searching for a spot when you have an appointment . Takes her time, listens to all of your suggestions and worries about your hair, helps you learn how to style it, gives the best scalp massage during the shampoo, and has been in the industry for 18 years! Such a cute beauty salon! The interior design is so creative. The feel of the place is so relaxing and calming. The ladies are really friendly and easily to communicate with. My mother enjoyed getting her hair done by the lovely Shaun and she actually stayed over the closing time in order to finish her hair. She was so kind and fun to talk to while she they did her hair. The dye fumes did not smell strong and overwhelming like other places and in fact left my mothers hair looking naturally pretty. The shampoo and conditioner that they use also smelt really nice. In the end the service and the production was all amazingly done and the pricing is not bad at all. I will definitely come back here to get my hair done. read more

I found this salon because I could book appointments through yelp. (Honestly I hate making hair appointments that's what took me so long to get my hair done) I booked it for the next day. The morning of my appointment I received a text that my appointment was changed because I booked it with someone who doesn't accept new clients, which is fine because I had no idea what to expect anyway. They booked it with Jenn and I'm glad because she was really nice and patient. I went for a balayage but I wanted something subtle. The first time she dyed it too light, I said something and she was very happy to go back and darken it. I also cut off a good amount of hair and it was very cute. I'm getting a lot of compliments with my new hairstyle! I'll probably be going back and using yelp to book haha read more
